Our parent company is in to telecom domain and multiple group companies across the globe.

For what projects/services did your company hire Gophers?

In many of our group companies, we are doing a complete digital transformation and building multiple products to automate various processes. Gophers Lab was involved in many implementations including automating sales funnel app, Online voting app, survey and feedback app etc.

What were your goals for this project?

Again, it was to automate various processes.

How did you select this vendor?

We have conducted developer's interviews and based on feedback of our interview team, we finalized the partner. Also, their cost was competitive..

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

There are quite a few small and big applications they developed.

What was the team composition?

In few cases we are only dealing with 2-3 developers and in few cases they have set up entire scrum teams

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

These products improved our efficiency and reduced manual errors. It also saved money and increased productivity of our team.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

Mostly, I was doing project management and their team was involved in technical part of product.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their response time and technical knowledge have been highlights.

Are there any areas for improvement?

They were quick in response and good in their technology.

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m one of the directors of Trancis Group. My official designation is vice president. We’re a full-service digital agency handling everything from custom web design and development to mobile applications and blockchain development.

What challenge were you trying to address with Gophers?

We didn’t have in-house Golang resources at that time, and we had a project where we needed that expertise. 

What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired some resources from Gophers. In the beginning, they were mainly looking after the development part of the business. My product management team was there to handle all the remaining queries regarding the product. Gophers involved in development only, but, as the project grew, we involved them more in dealing with the client directly. 

What is the team composition?

We initially hired four but then added one more developer, for a total of five. There were other people from their team looking after the developers and addressing any issues we had. For example, once, a developer became sick, and Gophers provided us a backup developer for the time being. Their team resolved any concerns or queries we had. They were very supportive.

How did you come to work with Gophers?

When we got this requirement, we started looking for agencies with developers at hand. It was an urgent requirement; the client wanted to start as early as possible. We got in touch with different companies, including Gophers. 

We had certain criteria in mind, such as cost-effectiveness, past experience, and portfolio. Everything at Gophers was in-line with our requirements, and above everything, they had developers available immediately. We chose Gophers for those reasons.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent about $80,000–$85,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with Gophers between February 2019–January 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My client was very happy with the product; in fact, he’s interested in continuing with the developers in the future. The project was for the first phase of the product, and we’ll soon start on the next phase. I hope to work with Gophers again at that time.

How did Gophers perform from a project management standpoint?

The product and project management were on our end. However, Gophers was in constant touch with us regarding any queries, concerns, or difficulties we had around working with their developers. If a developer was unavailable or non-responsive, they stepped in and resolved the situation as soon as possible.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their response time was very good; they always responded within a two-hour timeframe and were on time with meetings and email responses. They also stand out in terms of transparency. Whatever the situation was, they always communicated clearly and never hid anything from us. That’s the most important thing for me working with a company in this domain.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Maybe they could improve the quality of the email responses. Everything else was fine. I’ve never had any real issues working with them. The project was executed well, and the developers were smart and really skilled.

Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?

Anyone looking to work with Gophers needs to be clear and specific in discussing requirements with them. This will allow Gophers to assist them better.

I am a business manager at an AEM implementation company serving many Fortune 500 companies. My role is to get new customers for our company and ensuring delivery.

For what projects/services did your company hire Gophers?

Our expertise lie on Adobe Marketing Cloud. For one of thew global companies, we were doing Digital Transformation using AEM. Apart from AEM, there were a lot of complex API and product were required. Our client wanted to use GOlang for the same. But we did not have Golang resources in-house so we engaged GOPHERS.

What were your goals for this project?

To do Digital Transformation and provide a great platform to global users.

How did you select this vendor?

After doing research on Google, we have shortlisted 3 companies ( From India, Ukraine ans Russia) for Golang engagement. We have done extensive technical interview and found that GOPHERS developers are very strong on Golang. The best part is that their majority of team is working on Golang so we got multiple Golang developers at one place.

Obviously, GOPHERS team is working very closely with our team, There are many benefits: Cost benefits Quality of deliverable were high Now we feel their team in our team only, just working from different location

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

As stated, we now they have become kind of our team. We don't consider them our vendor any more.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Technical depth, they're experts on Golang, Availability Code quality Communication Maturity in Agile development processes
