New mobile app: Food traceability solutions
We designed a new web app!
We developed this project for a food traceability app! In the last few years the percentage of people that opt for brands that manage information transparently has increased. One of these practices is product traceability, a way to precisely locate where and under what conditions a product was made. This traceability was developed so that customers have more tools when deciding what to consume, verifying if what they are buying is authentic and in alignment with their consumer values.
These practices are not only popular with food products, but also with clothing!
With this app that we designed, the objective was for customers to be able to see all of the information available regarding the traceability of a product clearly and quickly — all they need to do is pick something up off the shelf and scan it!

Online bank Branding and Website User Experience Redesign
WHO?
BKR is an online bank offering a new way to manage your bank account 100% online through their app. You can even have your own physical or virtual prepaid debit card, that comes with thousands of benefits.
WHAT WAS OUR JOB?
Over a series of stages, we conducted a full redesign of BKR's digital identity. The first step was rebranding — starting with BKR's website and ending with their app, making the brand friendlier and helping to generate user confidence.
We adjusted BKR's logo, changing the color palette to add new colorful touches and reinventing their universe by adding illustrations that help bring the brand to life!
We reorganized BKR's site structure and its contents — this in addition to refining the user experience so that all users can take advantage of the full range of benefits that BKR has to offer. After all, digital banks are the future, right?

Agriculture startup web platform UX redesign
WHO?
S4 is a tech-startup in the insurtech industry, founded in 2015 with the aim of helping farmers maximize their earnings and reduce risks — in an industry where inclement weather has been a constant throughout history.
WHAT WAS OUR JOB?
We redesigned their website and user experience — integrating an insurance package selection process and backend development for administration. We also refreshed the brand, maintaining its original spirit with a modern look and feel. ?
Geometric circles were a central element of the brand identity – so we incorporated this little detail into each illustration to represent connection, monitoring, analysis, land, selection... everything!
This is a good example of how one simple element can be used in a thousand ways.?

Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We needed to design a brand identity including logo and graphic codes with applications in packaging and the website, taking into account the focus, which was the story behind each object or communication. In this case, the branding complemented this focus.
What was the team composition?
The team consisted of a project manager, and two designers (one senior and one junior) — they were the team members that were present throughout the whole project.

We are definitely satisfied with the result. The team understood what we needed and they worked closely with us, which was crucial for the correct development of the project.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The project took two months, with meetings at the beginning to provide an understanding of the company and our long-term business model. Then we spent a month working together on branding with an in-person presentation, and finally a month of weekly meetings to fine-tune the branding.

What was the team composition?
There was one project manager throughout the entire project, two front end developers, and between two and three designers.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Honestly, there were no measurable outcomes because there was nothing to compare it to, this was the first MVP. But I can say that they did a very good job in the timeframe that we had, especially since the platform had a business model that was not common for this time (2012) and the layouts and interactions had to take into account new user functionalities.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was very fluid, we had meetings every 15 days, both in-person and online, in which the Gonni team presented their progress at a wireframe level. This allowed us to incorporate certain functionalities that we hadn't even thought about before beginning the project. The job they did was key, since they helped us to define the scope of the MVP. We were very satisfied with their work.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their understanding of the relationship between visual design and UX quality was impressive. They are things that 90% of the time, at a visual and branding level, software factories don't have. Gonni Agency is a team with incredible energy. They designed all of our website's User Experience, completely from scratch, and with great attention to detail.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a business development manager at Signatura Co. We’re a blockchain company specializing in document transfers and digital signatures. Our clientele includes several important clients in Argentina such as the Central Bank, large petrol groups, and retailers.
What challenge were you trying to address with Gonni Agency?
It can be difficult to explain complex technology to a new market that doesn’t understand our field. As a result, we approached Gonni Agency to create rebranding and marketing materials.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They led us through a rebranding process, generating branding, storytelling, and sales collateral. This involved designing a proposal PDF to pitch to prospective clients, creating a new logo, and selecting our typography. They also supported us with marketing materials for social media use.
What is the team composition?
I worked with their two co-founders.
How did you come to work with Gonni Agency?
I was looking for boutique agencies and liked Gonni Agency’s style. They presented a solid proposal, sounded convincing, and had good feedback from past clients. We felt comfortable with them and decided to give them a shot.
What is the status of this engagement?
Their work lasted from May–June 2018. Initially, they gave us a two-month timeline. But, since we were in a hurry, they buckled down and delivered an amazing end product within a month and a half.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since implementing our new branding materials, our social interaction has substantially increased. On Facebook alone, we doubled our number of followers and generated more user engagement. Customers are more comfortable with our new identity.
How did Gonni Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
The project was a huge success because they presented a timeline for all of their tasks and stuck to it. It was a smooth process compared to other agencies we’ve worked with; if Gonni Agency said they were going to do something, they would do it by the established deadline.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They produced strong creative work that exceeded our expectations while remaining cost-effective. We’ve paid far more to other vendors for comparable work, but Gonni Agency complied to our needs and had a better design framework.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At times, they would ask for a lot of basic information that they could easily find themselves. We often couldn’t get them the materials because we didn’t have the time, so they would research the information and move forward. I would appreciate it if they were more proactive on this front.

At the end of the experience, the participants become part of a diverse and collaborative community. Their goal is to provide their customers with the context that encourages their initiatives and encourages them to find their goals and give them the containment that we all need when leaving our comfort zone to grow as people and professionals.
What challenge were you trying to address with Gonni Agency?
We weren’t happy with our brand; it was too serious and largely unoriginal. We wanted to be recognizable without posting our logo in a ton of advertisements. Ultimately, we needed a firm to help us find our voice and develop an image that reflected our style, culture, internal voice, and any other business elements that make us unique.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Gonni Agency interviewed the senior staff of the company (co-founders, partners, and myself), conducting research and asking questions to conceptualize our objectives. They also spoke with some of our clients to determine what parts of our service they found were unique and interesting. We gave them access to our Facebook group, and they also talked to users that showed interest in the experience that we provide. With all of this information, they started working on a large presentation that detailed their findings and conclusions.
What is the team composition?
I only spoke with Rodrigo (Director, Gonni Agency) and Ignacio (Co-Founder and Creative Director, Gonni Agency), but I know they work with a larger team on their end.
How did you come to work with Gonni Agency?
We met their team at an event in Buenos Aires, then ran into them a few other times through different networks. Eventually, we started a conversation. Gonni Agency described the services that they offer. I detailed some branding aspects of my company, and they provided feedback. As the interactions became more fluid, I began to see their talent, creative eye, and work ethic, so I decided to partner with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together around March 2018, and the process took nearly three months.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
With Gonni Agency’s help, we were able to delegate all of our communication needs without sacrificing quality. Their assistance was extremely valuable, establishing a level of consistency throughout our brand. Since implementing the changes, we’ve received a lot of positive comments and reviews from our customers and our partners. Now, we’re perceived as a more serious company.
How did Gonni Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
Managing my expectations was challenging. That being said, they never missed a deadline, and there wasn’t a single delay throughout the engagement. If they committed to a completion date, I could expect to receive the delivery as promised.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their process allows them to develop a well-rounded understanding of the company they’re working with. They researched our target customers and the work environment, picking up on details that even I didn’t see.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’m happy with their service.

Please describe your company and your position there.
We are BKR, a company that develops financial technology, we generate digital tools that improve the quality of life of people when managing their money. I am Chief Project Officer.
For what projects/services did your company hire Gonni Agency?
We hired Gonni to redesign our institutional website. We were about to launch in 6 months a big change in our app and we needed to improve the experience of the site because it is the first touchpoint for many users. The UX redesign was done in conjunction with the redesign of the visual identity of our brand in order to differentiate ourselves from our competitors.
What were your goals for this project?
Regarding rebrand, the main thing was to differentiate ourselves from one or two of the competitors that are already well positioned in the market. For this we needed to achieve a very strong and clear graph.
How did you select this vendor?
It was recommended to us by someone from our inhouse design team.
Describe the project in detail.
First, the Gonni team made a diagnosis of the current state of our brand identity, rating each of the things that make it up. They also showed us examples of other brand identities so that we could understand which were good examples and how those brandings adapt to different media. The team then took 1-2 months to work internally without meetings.
Once that stage ended, they did a pitch for our entire team where there was a presentation of the new brand identity and its justification point by point, with mockups, and details of everything, from the logo to billboards or communication on networks. Then 2 or 3 interactions were made to adjust colors and details at the request of management, but the original visual identity proposal was kept almost 100%. In closing, it was applied to the entire site design that was running in parallel. There were two parallel processes but very ordered the truth.
What was the team composition?
There was a Project Manager who was also coordinating the UX project, 1 Branding Senior Designer and 1 junior branding designer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Today we are in the process of launching adapting the new branding and thinking about a new stage of work with Gonni that will include the redesign of our mobile app on iOS and Android.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We had a smooth workflow.
What did you find most impressive about this company?

Essen is an Argentine company that has been making high-quality kitchen products since 1980. We are the largest melted-aluminum pan company in the world. We are market leaders in Argentina and we export throughout the world in both a B2B and B2C capacity. I am the current Chief Digital Officer.
For what projects/services did your company hire Gonni Agency?
We hired Gonni because we needed to do a complete redesign of our website, to include, for the first time in our business model, the ability to purchase our products online.
What were your goals for this project?
Our company has a business model based on a reselling system, with entrepreneurs representing 90% of our sales. The old site did not include online sales as to not interfere with in-person sales. In the past few years however, the buying habits of our users have changed a lot, which is why we felt the need to completely redesign the website, including the digital experience, and taking our user experience to the level of brands such as Google, Apple, Uber, or Spotify. Our products are big-ticket items, and they need to be presented in an incredible way.
How did you select this vendor?
Gonni was recommended to us.
Describe the project in detail.
The first stage of the project included redesigning the home page, catalog, and the informational pages of our products — this was the part that concerned us the most. We spend 3 months working on it. Currently, we are ready to move on to the second stage, to unify the checkout, the end user, and our sales team.
What was the team composition?
From the Gonni team, 1 Project Manager, 1 Senior Designer, and 1 Junior designer participated in the project.

Please describe your company and your position there.
Ki Point is a medical center for high performance athletes influenced by Chinese medicine that offers tapping, recuperation, massages, acupuncture, and lymphatic massages to alleviate certain conditions.
Currently, we are expanding our team with the addition of health professionals. I am the director, responsible for managing priorities and the different sales channels for our services.
For what projects/services did your company hire Gonni Agency?
Gonny needed to improve the startup's image, the communication on the website, social networks, and seminars. I started the company by myself three years ago, and now we are expanding both our team and our business model. Originally we only offered in-person consultations, and now we are varying our business model with webinars, apps for athletes, book series, etc.
What were your goals for this project?
Change the brand's image to improve communication and visibility. Visually, we wanted something harmonious to convey health, equilibrium, and professionalism, yet strong at the same time, to reinforce our athletic side.
How did you select this vendor?
It was a recommendation from a friend.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
Review all material that were being used in communications via social media and course presentations, organize and arrange how brand elements (such as photography and fonts) should be presented, keeping in mind the growing nature of our business model so that these elements can continue work in the future.
What was the team composition?
I believe that there was a project manager and two designers on the job. Or at least they were the ones mentioned in the project presentation.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
There is no quantitative measurement, but qualitatively there was a large improvement. Though I don't have exact numbers, there was a definite improvement in communications, and a structure was laid out to produce content in an organized way.
Before it was a mess, it didn't look very good, and it was difficult to delegate pieces of content to be created, both in printed and digital mediums.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
It was good, with weekly or bi-weekly meetings.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They understood the tone of the brand and that the guidelines had to be simple while encompassing a large variety of aspects. They also simplified the design with an attractive and professional visual imprint.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No.
The client is exceptionally satisfied with the results of the partnership. The team collaborated well with the stakeholders, offering consistent communication. They're a detail-oriented team that's invested in understanding internal goals.
