For what projects/services did your company hire GO ONLINE, and what were your goals?
The project that we hired GoOnline for was a website for our vehicle control system company. GoOnline provided UI/UX design and development. Our goal was to create a fast and modern looking website where we can present our services and products.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We met through networking at a conference. We knew that GoOnline has expired developers and designers so we were quite sure to hire them.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project started with consultations about our needs where we discussed website architecture and design with the ui/ux team. After a few revisions of prototypes made in figma we accepted the final prototype version. Next Goonline delivered the first version of the programmed website and after a beta tests and couple sessions of revising the project was ready to publish online.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with UI/UX of 3 team members and the lead developer. We were informed that the team of developers consisted of 5 members.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The website is one of our most important client touchpoints, and it does its job really well when it comes to showing our services to clients. We haven’t got any problems with usability or crashes.

We are really happy with how communication went. We worked together mostly via google meet, slack and figma with additional consultations through phone calls and emails. I would say that we had an impression that we were their only client. Through the whole process, every milestone was completed in time.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a large international construction company. There’s a lot of independency in our IT systems because we have one for every unit (e.g., several system work only in Poland). I’m the project manager for the IT area of the business.
What challenge were you trying to address with RAD4M?
We wanted to migrate our intranet system from Oracle Forms to a more modern solution. We needed to heavily customize SharePoint. We wanted to make the work easier for a wide group of editors who deliver content through our intranet.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We built a number of custom page layouts and web parts for our intranet on the SharePoint platform.
The platform provides access to our company documents and procedures. We have a 1,000-person user group who all work in different departments and need easy access to this knowledge.
What is the team composition?
We mainly worked with the president who acted as project manager and handled the general analysis. We were also in contact with their graphic designer and system architect.
How did you come to work with RAD4M?
We looked on the market for a company with knowledge and experience in this area. I don’t remember how we first came into contact with them. We contacted several other companies, but RAD4M had the most detailed proposal. Their price was also decent.
What is the status of this engagement?
We first asked them for an offer during the summer holiday, but the project officially started in October 2014. We now have a support agreement with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We don’t have relevant statistics. We rarely seen any bugs and have received positive feedback on the intranet, so we’re satisfied.
How did RAD4M perform from a project management standpoint?
The collaboration went smoothly. We used the waterfall methodology. Our internal members are based in multiple locations, so all communication happened via phone, Skype, or similar mediums. Their communication was frequent and very good.
I acted as project manager on our side, so my contact with their project manager was frequent. We were in contact every day at certain stages and sometimes even talked for several hours. We also had regular meetings with the business owner of the platform once a week.

My company operates in the Polish power sector.
What challenge were you trying to address with RAD4M?
We were planning to upgrade our intranet, which was a large challenge. We created a tender, the winner of which was RAD4M.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We had ample internal documentation about what we needed to build, which was divided into nice-to-have and must-have. RAD4M proposed a solution and put together a dedicated team for the project. It was a custom solution built using Microsoft SharePoint, with components built specifically for us. We used the SharePoint workflow and code, but the presentation layer was custom for us.
We have also worked with them on web and mobile solutions for project management and electronic documents for suppliers.
What is the team dynamic?
Half of their initial offer was focused on project management methodology. The first step was to prepare our internal teams; the project was managed by individuals from both our sides. They made an analysis of our needs and put together proper documentation clearly defining the scope. The completion time was dependent on this.
We had weekly meetings through Skype, informing us about the progress and new information. The project manager from RAD4M’s side sent us progress reports.
How did you come to work with RAD4M?
We have worked with other development companies, which we invited to the tender, along with new suppliers. Our criteria were flexibility and cost, and RAD4M has stood out in these regards over the last 3 years. Other suppliers had quotes at twice the cost.
How much have you invested with them?
The cost was within our budget, but I can’t provide an exact figure.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with RAD4M in 2015, and finished after one year. We continue the collaboration through a service agreement, improving our tools on a yearly basis.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Along with the initial intranet project, we deployed a Skype solution with RAD4M’s collaboration. We hadn’t had a good communication solution before, so it was a significant change for our employees. We have very good tools in place at the moment, and we have set a yearly budget for improving them.
Instead of using email, suppliers are given access to our intranet, where they have access to our documentation.
How did RAD4M perform from a project management standpoint?
The general delivery was on time, but we did have some issues with the timeline. Ultimately, our goal was met. We’ve been in touch with RAD4M’s project managers as well as their owner, on a constant basis.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are very efficient. RAD4M understands our goals, and we have a business relationship on a high level.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We’ve had problems with the timeline, but the final solution was good-quality. This depended on the detail level of our documentation; if it was done okay, they had no issues understanding us and creating a better business solution.

I think clients should contact RAD4M and give them a test by having them build a small application. I am sure the results will be good—their team is good for the cost and they’re more efficient than other developers.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I work for an accounting office.
What challenge were you trying to address with RAD4M?
I needed a business intelligence web portal for my client and myself.
What was the scope of their involvement?
RAD4M’s solution was to build actual models of important data in the accounting system, such as overdue status, and send that information to customers via a web portal. It’s basically business intelligence model analysis that works automatically.
The service gleans this information from the accounting system, analyzes it, and sends it to the client, who can then gain insight about financial conditions. They also developed a digital process to connect financial transactions to process cash flow, as well as data analysis.
Customers have access to the portal 24/7, which includes options to ask certain business questions of the data. The goal is to help them make better decisions about growing their company.

How did you come to work with RAD4M?
We found them online.

What is the status of this engagement?
I think we started work in May 2016.

What did you find most impressive about them?
It’s a good portal. I think they collected a lot of analysis through their digital process. It recognizes actual data, which I appreciate. I like the options they listed for answering my business questions.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
GoGift specializes in providing gift cards for B2B clients and B2C customers. We have over 7,000 B2B customers who have millions of employees who each get gift cards from their own employees. We handle everything from gift card creation, order handling, greeting cards, and sending them out. It’s a one-stop service for all of the biggest brands around the world.
What challenge were you trying to address with RAD4M?
We were trying to develop a new way to sell gift cards by creating a platform for B2B customers. Consumers could complete quizzes or surveys, then receive gift cards as as incentive for participating.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We asked them use Angular 2 to create the platform’s frontend on .NET, and MVC for the backend. They received some technical notes at the beginning of what the technology should should like, and they’ve done a great job meeting those standards—especially considering that we had no documentation on our system before this.
We asked them to do a continuous integration project that involved code being pushed into our Git, then into a software called TeamCity, and finally, into Octopus, which deployed it to a test environment thereafter. We would put it into production once it passed through all of these stages.
During the coding process, our backend staff suddenly switched technologies and wanted features added or removed. We initially didn’t give RAD4M proper documentation, which caused them to have to do a lot of extra work. They never complained and still gave us a fair price despite some of the work being complicated. This showed how flexible they are and that they can adhere to our needs. They’ve been able to handle everything we’ve needed.
What is the team dynamic?
They have 30 people on their team divided into different divisions including frontend, backend, and designers. Patrick [Project Manager, RAD4M] provided project updates, while Piotr, the lead developer, communicated with our technical staff. We also have testers who communicate with us during QA. The owners also checked in to make sure everything was going as planned.
How did you come to work with RAD4M?
Originally, I was told we needed a core .NET company because that’s what our backend is based on. I found Clutch through Google, then searched for Polish developers. I stumbled onto RAD4M, and their description perfectly matched what we needed. We spoke via phone, then went to visit them. They’re very disciplined people and a dedicated Microsoft team, so it’s great to know you’re in the hands of people who really know their technologies.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent 400,000 Danish Krone [U.S. $63,102].
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with them in December 2016. The project should’ve been finished by the end of March 2017, but we ended up having to change a lot of things unexpectedly. We are just now finishing the project.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve performed some code review, and everything seems to be working fine. There have been some logical coding mistakes, but those are our fault because we didn’t document our system in certain ways. They are currently correcting this, and we'll go live after they finish.
How did RAD4M perform from a project management standpoint?
We used Slack to communicate in English, which worked very well. I even received calls at midnight, which shows how dedicated they were at meeting deadlines.
Every developer likes certain technologies, but Microsoft isn’t exactly the most popular because it doesn’t have a good reputation. RAD4M provided logic for why they wanted to use Microsoft technologies, but they’ve still been cooperative in working with our proposed technologies and getting along with our developers.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their cost was impressive. Another company quoted us at five times the rate RAD4M gave us. I’ve had experience working with many Polish developers, and I know they’re good. I was confident in the price they offered to us.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Their English skills are somewhat lacking, but they’re good enough to work with. This is part of the reason why documentation is so vital. They had to adopt technologies they weren’t familiar with, like TeamCity and Octopus. There were bugs on both sides of the team. We were using databases and software like MariaDB, which is MySQL and open-source, and RAD4M didn’t have much experience or expertise in open-source. However, they were able to adapt, and now understand that Microsoft isn’t the only company that can deliver a good database or software.
Do you have any advice for potential clients?
Contact them immediately. They’re extremely efficient. It’s important to provide them with documentation so things are done according to a certain set of standards.

I'm a Co-Founder of the restaurant chain.
For what projects/services did your company hire GO ONLINE, and what were your goals?
We hired GoOnline to design and develop management software for organizing and managing all the back-end operations from inventory management to order management. Our goal was to help employees and us (the owners) manage the restaurants.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found them through online research. After the introductory call, we knew that it will be a great fit for our project. The deciding factors were their experience and reasonable price.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had an initial idea about the features of the management system, so we started the project by discussing it with the UX team and lead developer. The designing process went really fast because they transferred our ideas into the first prototype in two weeks. After a few revisions, we agreed upon the final version and from there we were just monitoring the work progress of the development. Then we tested the software on our restaurant’s computers. There was no need for additional revisions, everything worked perfectly. Technologies that GoOnline used were React and .Net.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The team was composed of 2 UI/UX designers and 6 developers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The software works exactly as we expected. We are convinced that it will be an important pillar in scaling up our business.

Their project management process was very well organized. We were informed about the scope of work from the project kickoff. The project was broken down into milestones with concrete timelines and what is worth mentioning every deadline was met. We were able to real-time monitor the progress of work via Monday. The online meetings were held via google meet and slack. To sum up, working with GoOnline was stress-free and took place in a pleasant atmosphere.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their ability to listen and understand our ideas. They were exceptionally easy to work with.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
No. Their work was excellent.
The website built by GO ONLINE has been issue-free since its launch and now serves as a vital information channel for potential customers. The team completed every milestone on time, regularly communicated with the client, and constantly made sure that their output was aligned with the project goals.
