Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the CPO of ECellStreet, a cell phone accessories company.

What challenge were you trying to address with GetMeOnline?

We’d tried a couple of agencies before, and they all suggested that we go for WordPress or WooCommerce for our CMS. We tried a couple of those agencies, but considering our business volume, neither the agencies nor WooCommerces were up to the mark for us. We wanted an e-commerce platform that ran with a boost.

What was the scope of their involvement?

GetMeOnline has developed our website for us. They told us that we should use Shopify as our CMS. With their help, we smoothly shifted our store to Shopify. The customer, order data, and other information were taken from the previous website, but they did the design and development for Shopify from scratch.

They’ve also been helping us with SEO. One of my team members works with them in that area.

What is the team composition?

During the project, we had a dedicated team. We worked with 6–7 people. We had a content writer, a graphic designer, and a couple of web developers.

How did you come to work with GetMeOnline?

One of our friends recommended them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them around January 2017, and we continue to work with them on SEO.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We were experiencing 10%–15% overall downtime with our previous platform. Since moving to Shopify with GetMeOnline, we’ve had zero downtime, and our sales have increased. Previously, if we were promoting our items, visitors would come to the site, but it would crash. We have a higher conversion on the website because there is no downtime.

How did GetMeOnline perform from a project management standpoint?

It’s up to the mark, and we haven’t faced any hurdles, which is why we’ve worked with them for so long. With previous agencies, we faced hurdles.

They have their own CRM, and we communicate through Perfex.

What did you find most impressive about them?

E-commerce is their main area of expertise. Several agencies struggle in the e-commerce ecosystem because it isn’t just about creating a web store; it’s also about maintaining it and getting sales. Therefore, we prefer to work with them in the long run.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I’ve suggested that they increase the team size and expand their operations. Our city is tiny when it comes to a country like India, so I’ve suggested that they move into larger metro areas to get more clientele.

I’ve referred a couple of my friends to them.

For what projects/services did your company hire GetMeOnline?

Our previous web app was laggy and crashing on wordpress. GetMeOnline team suggested to us to move Shopify.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

They offered us free trial of Shopify until our store went live and it was a wonderful experience.

Since they are a startup they take extra efforts unlike other well set agencies who work only for the money
