Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the development director for a circle of care agency for victims of family violence and sexual assault.
What challenge were you trying to address with Get Social?
Our website was very outdated and not very user-friendly.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They created our website and also handle a lot of our social media posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. We’re also having a virtual telethon this week that Get Social is a big part of organizing.
What is the team composition?
We work with Ashley (Owner).
How did you come to work with Get Social?
I found out about them through my local chamber of commerce. I knew they had done some work for an event planner I know, and they referred Get Social to me.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent less than $10,000 so far, and we also have them on retainer.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together full-time June 2018, and our work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Get Social was able to come in and work with us really well to produce exactly what our vision was. We’re really happy with the website now. Their prices are very reasonable as well. We’ve been changing a lot with their help, and we’re getting a little bit bigger as we move along.
How did Get Social perform from a project management standpoint?
We typically communicate via email or Zoom. We really depend on Ashley’s knowledge on when emails and posts should go out. She definitely helps us make sure that our vision is ours.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Ashley is very responsive. It never feels like we’re on the backburner. Whenever an email goes out, there’s a response to it. Even if it can’t be addressed at that time, she’ll let us know when it can be addressed and at which time so there’s some accountability. They’re very easy and gracious to work with.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, nothing comes to mind.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
You can’t go wrong by going with Get Social.
