Green Sensation
Fleschia Brown contacted us looking for someone to design a simple e-commerce website for her CBD startup company.
After a few emails and an initial consult, we began work!
Fleschia’s company Green Sensation uses the domain onegreensensation.com and choose us to not only design her e-commerce website, but host it as well.
We brought her into our studio and did some head shots for her about us section and set up her initial Instagram page for a small social media presence to start off with.
Square was the payment processor or choice, so she can now take orders online at her website (https://www.onegreensensation.com) and from her mobile phone as well when she is out at public events.

Amerimax Logistics
Steve Glass from Amerimax Logistics came to us looking for a website re-design. They had an old and dated site, designed many years ago that wasn’t doing much for their current online marketing needs.
Not only did they ask us to give the web site a fresh new and modern look (including responsive design). Also to be included was a visible means of contacting the company easily, getting a free freight quote and directing the flow of visitors to a call-to-action button and contact form. Organic search engine optimization was extremely important for search engine visibility as the old site did not correctly include any of this.
MDX, Inc.
Eric Dedden from MDX Inc. came to us looking for help with his website. It had been not working properly and he just needed someone to get his excavating company website back up and running.

The Gorge Underground
It rose from the offerings of Thrillsville Adventure Park. The Gorge Underground tour was by far one of the most popular adventures in the Red River Gorge area.
The owners came to us again to design the basic layout for their website. Working with FareHarbor, we were to provide an online booking solution integrated into their site. They wanted simple and easy for those looking to navigate and purchase tour tickets for boat, kayak, paddleboard and seasonal tours.
Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals
It all started with a single cabin. The owners initial goal was to have a website created that would allow potential visitors to the area to view his cabin and to contact him for rental information. Today the site has changed many times over the years to include over 75 rental cabins in eight different locations. Now it’s not only possible to view each cabin, learn about it’s features and see the rental rates and available dates but rent and pay for whichever cabin you choose! Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals have become very successful largely in part to Ian’s hard work and determination and the website that has allowed him to go from one cabin to over 75+ cabin rental properties. Thumbs up to Ian and a pat on the back for Genesis Web Studio. Job well done!

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of Red River Gorge Cabin Rentals. I also own various lodges, motels, resorts, attractions, and many real estate properties.
What challenge were you trying to address with Genesis Web Studio, LLC?
We’ve worked with Genesis Web Studio for over 14 years, back when we only had five cabins. They’ve been maintaining and upgrading my website all these years.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, Genesis Web Studio designed my website from scratch. At the time, no one offered online bookings, and having high-definition photos on websites was a challenge. However, they managed to do all that while a lot of other people couldn’t do it.
From that point on, Genesis Web Studio has made a significant number of upgrades to our website. These upgrades include, for example, Google maps integrations. People receive a link with the cabin’s address within the confirmation email when they reserve, which helps them avoid getting lost.
They’ve also integrated a store where people can buy our products. Additionally, people can book one of our attractions on the same website that they can book a cabin, which has been very helpful for cross-marketing.

Dwayne (President) is my only point of contact.
How did you come to work with Genesis Web Studio, LLC?
One of my competitors at the time was using Genesis Web Studio.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent around $100,000 over our engagement, including the cost of 3–4 major upgrades.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in the summer of 2006, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The money that we’ve spent on building, upgrading, and maintaining our website is nothing compared to the amount of money we’ve made as a result. Only for this year, we’ve grossed around $10 million, of which we’ve obtained around $5 million in profit.
Thanks to Genesis Web Studio’s efforts, we’ve always been ahead of our competitors, having a better website, online booking process, and photos. Our business has a lot of complicated elements, but they simplify everything by providing a simple UX for our clients.
After some time working together, Dwayne demonstrated that he knew what he was doing, so he stepped up and decided on the direction that we needed to take. He has done a great job leading the project to make success happen. I’ve never questioned what he’s doing or how much he’s charging. He has always been reasonable and fair.
How did Genesis Web Studio, LLC perform from a project management standpoint?
Genesis Web Studio performs really well, and their project management is great. Although completing projects has sometimes taken them longer than expected, it never takes them much longer. We communicate via email and phone calls.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I like meeting with the people that I work with, but the majority of people that I do business with are in some other state or country. However, I can meet with Dwayne, and he comes to visit the property once a year, which is extremely helpful.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Genesis Web Studio’s biggest limitation is that they’re not a big company. Obviously, bigger companies can get more work done, but working with bigger companies means losing the personal touch.
In the end, it all depends on the needs of every client. If a client needs a major website for which it is necessary to have 20–30 people involved, maybe Genesis Web Studio is not the right fit. However, if they only need a small team for website design and development, they’re a great company to work with.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be clear on the timelines, and be as detailed as you can be upfront. The more details and instructions you can give them, the better the probability of succeeding will be.

Genesis Web Studio helped us with web design and development. We had a site that was dormant for a while because the person who had originally created our platform disappeared from us. The team then assisted us in obtaining access to the site, and they added some new modules to the platform.
They also created forms for our third-party clients so they could log in and request information from us. On top of that, they provided SEO services.

They performed very well. We had some video conferences on Zoom and GoToMeeting, but we generally communicated over the phone. They also came to our office at the start of the project. Overall, they had good communication skills.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Genesis Web Studio was quick and responsive to any changes we requested. We struggled for a while in finding a web company that would be a fit for us, so we were pleasantly surprised that no job was too big or small for Genesis Web Studio.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I was extremely happy with how they did everything. With the scope of work that we gave them, I couldn’t think of anything that they could’ve done better.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I strongly recommend working with Genesis Web Studio. They offered a reasonable price, and they did everything they said they’d do. Most of all, they were honest people.
