When we signed up with the client, the company had already acquired four other brands and was in the middle of redesigning its new website. The first thing we did was conduct a thorough review of all the new companies across the web and conduct a full-scale technical website audit. We worked with the team to narrow down a list of relevant keywords that would appeal to insurance companies. 

With the list of keywords, we then devised a content plan and provided them with the briefs and technical support it needed to write and create its new pages. We then got to work optimising its new content to help the company rank for its new key terms. We then ensured our client’s new web design went live without any drop in rankings. Meanwhile, we built backlinks to the new site through press releases, brand mentions in relevant articles, and links from reputable and industry-relevant websites.

The first thing GeekyTech did was to define and narrow down our target audience and identify search behaviour. Then researched our main competitors to find out what key terms they were using to rank. With their findings, they developed a list of high-quality keywords and then built a six-month content calendar around these terms. 

In the beginning, they audited our site to ensure there were no technical issues and identified any existing pages that could easily be optimised. During this phase, they improved our analytics and tracking to help our team see progress every month. The last stage of the initial set-up was to create ongoing backlinks from high-quality sites related to parking enforcement software. 

They performed brand protection by claiming and/or optimising Zatpark’s social and directory accounts. They continue to monitor the health of the site and are now committed to finding new keyword opportunities and building and optimising new pages as they come.

The project started with Ben and Mark spending time getting to know us and our unique product. They made sure to fully understand how our end-to-end platform was different from our competitors before getting started with the research. They looked into our target market and our closest competitors, and used all these data points to provide us with content briefs for pages we needed to rank for.

Then they optimised our new and existing pages. At the same time, they set up goal tracking and established the Gravitee brand in the US and UK on all the major/important social media links and business directories. They also helped improve our brand name by creating links from other related technology, software, and business sites they have access to.

Following the free review, we walked Geeky Tech through our products and services, and defined our target customer so they could use the info we gave them to research the best keywords for our site. Then, they helped us select and prioritise the target keywords we wanted to rank for in Google. 

Once we chose the keywords, the team then took a look at our competitors that were already ranking for those words and produced content briefs that included all the info we needed to write content to outrank the other pages. Once we created the content and built the pages, their tech team made sure they were fully optimised. We’ve seen incredible results so far, with most of our new pages already ranking on page one after only three months

We’ve had contact with various members of the Geeky Tech team. Christian, our most frequent point of contact, takes care of our ongoing SEO strategy. We’re also working with Alan throughout our migration process. In the past, we’ve worked with Amine from the PPC team, as well as Ben and Mark in the early stages of signing up with Geeky Tech. 

We sometimes speak to Holly about our project, but for the most part, we mainly deal with Christian and Alan. They are very effective at responding. The Geeky team responds to our emails promptly and we usually get a swift answer or resolution without delay.

Everyone is an expert in their respective fields, and so they don’t have traditional account managers, which, if anyone has had to deal with a liaison before, can be kind of a time waster. If you need help with technical SEO or a site migration, you speak to a technical expert; if you need help with keyword research & strategy you speak with a strategist; If you need advice on a paid ads campaign, you get the paid media expert rather than a ‘jack of all trades’.

Having worked with other web agencies and not feeling confident in their ability to help drive results, we were really looking for a web agency with an SEO speciality, which we felt confident that Geeky Tech offered.

Geeky Tech started with a complete site overhaul, which included content, a design refresh, and thorough competitor research (from an SEO perspective). They helped us to narrowed down the keywords that potential customers were using to search and then took those results to rewrite some of our content and trim the fat. With more focused keywords and optimised web pages, they also expanded our reach on the internet with backlinks. Because we needed immediate traffic to capitalise on the demand for fuel testing kits in the aviation industry, GT also used those keywords to build a Google Ad campaign.

Our main points of contact are Ben, Mark, Alan, Holly and Patricia. They all take care of various aspects of our projects. Ben and Mark worked with us during the keyword research and strategy phase. Alan is the main person who sends us detailed analytic reports. He’s also in charge of making sure our site is technically sound and fixing any issues as they come. Pati worked with us in the beginning on design, and Holly is the project manager who kept things on track.
