Please describe your company and your position there.
We provide assurance, tax and advisory services. We are the first audit company in Moldova since 1991. So far no significant expenditure has been allocated towards receiving professional web development services until we have contracted GBMF. We employ a staff of 20 professionals in the above-mentioned areas.
We are considered a large professional services firm by local standards. My position in the firm is manager, we are a family business, I am the third generation involved. I am responsible besides other operational matters to also propose strategic improvements, such as the need to improve our online image.
For what projects/services did your company hire GBMF Tech, and what were your goals?
We required a new website as well as a rebranding in terms of all logos, company colours and other visual representations. Both our branding and website were horribly out of date, even at the time of their creation they have been made to a poor standard.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We have performed basic internet searches for local providers but this particular provider came forward to us at a convenient time to offer their services. Since we required a provider which can do more than just compile a website out of materials and content we would provide ourselves, we have chosen them in order to obtain a one-stop-shop approach.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We first had a meeting to discuss the overall concept and needs, at that point, they have explained the flow of work and put us in touch with their team, most communication has taken place through a team leader via a messaging application and phone calls. We found the interaction very convenient as they were very respectful of our time, all interactions were as short and on point as possible.
We had an interview with the content creator who proposed the structure and text of the website. We would review all the bits of the proposed text and visuals. The designer would send us mock-ups via Figma to inspect and decide on a style we preferred. After we had decided on bits and pieces we licked from different mock-ups we began to receive the mock-ups of various pages of our future website.
We have been discussing the concept of how will the user interact with our website and the best way to structure it. After we have approved the design the back-end work began and we have been solicited very little during the period. Once a working website was ready we began the final review and approval, during this time we made last-minute modifications and testing the functionality of for example CV submission section.
As laypersons we do not know the technology behind the functioning of the website, but we are very happy with the way it works as it seems to be as smooth and pleasant operating as various websites we have ever visited.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
The company director, one project manager who was our primary point of contact, content manager, designer and some members of staff that handled the process which we as laypersons do not understand but were explained to us by the team manager.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We have received praises from our clients about how much modernisation our image has obtained from the new website. We believe that our new website will help us to be taken much more seriously by clients from abroad that know little about our local reputation.

We viewed proposed mock-ups through Figma, most communication took place via phone and Telegram. The team manager would contact us whenever our input was needed via messages, and we would allocate time when we were available to discuss. Overall the process seemed very effortless on our side. The staff was very pleasant.

They delivered a high-quality product with the purpose and functionalities we requested. One of the best websites we have seen any local company has.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Cannot recall anything we would want to change.

I am the owner of several trucking companies in the U.S.
For what projects/services did your company hire GBMF Tech, and what were your goals?
The main task was to create an aggregator that unites the broker, the customer and the carrier. It was necessary for everything to happen online, thereby optimizing the time for communication and unnecessary waste of time. Freight Crew is an online aggregator where the customer can choose the right price for the freight and make all the payments online.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
My close acquaintances recommended GBMF to me because they had previously dealt with them from a related industry.

I was not personally in the process, all decisions from my company were made by the product owner. He kept in touch and led the project with GBMF. For my part I communicated with architect dev, business analyst, ui/ux designer from GBMF side before drafting the technical task. All processes and stages were controlled by my product owner from my side.

I wrote above that architect dev, business analyst, ui/ux. As far as I know the team also consisted of 4 backend developers and 4 frontend developers, 2 testers, project manager.

In terms of development and design, the evaluation is positive.

According to my product owner, everything was done on time and the project management process was done in jira atlassian.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Noticed an individual approach, because in addition to our vision GBMF offered their ideas and visions on many points at the stage of creating the technical specifications and roadmap of the project.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
On the whole, there are no problems. Completely satisfied with their work!
The new website developed by GBMF Tech received plenty of praises from third-party clients because of its modern look. During the engagement, the team contacted the client to discuss the project's status and answer queries. Overall, their workflow was effortless and smooth-sailing.
