For what projects/services did your company hire GBC Digital LTD?

We have worked with Greg during his time at News UK to deliver The Sun's loyalty proposition, Sun Savers; a website and mobile app to help drive customer loyalty, acquisition and engagement.

What were your goals for this project?

The primary aim of the platform was to protect and grow print sales of The Sun and The Sun on Sunday, as well as reward loyal readers. The challenge was to help create and shape a rewards platform that provided ease of participation and help drive engagement.


How did you select this vendor?

Greg was a welcome addition to the Sun Savers team, highly diligent and a pleasure to deal with day-to-day. His calm, friendly nature allowed the project to run smoothly, even when pressure and unforeseen change arose.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

We worked with Greg in his role as Business Analyst, as well as Product Manger and always experienced the same level of professionalism during the delivery and evolution of the Savers platform.

Acting as mediator between a wide variety of stakeholders, Greg was always clear in communicating the needs of the business and translating them into requirements for Clock. This was often backed up with broader context, which was gratefully received and helped us to always deliver the optimum solution.

What was the team composition?

Greg's vital role was the glue that brought everyone together; co-ordinating large and complex teams at News UK, as well as third parties and development partners such as Clock.


Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Sun Savers is a platform that Clock are very proud of and one that we are delighted to have been involved with from inception. The participation figures speak themselves (now with over 1million registered users) and GBC has been integral to not only the overall delivery and ongoing management of the platform, but in our eyes, it's continued growth and success.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

As aforementioned, day-to-day management and communication was excellent and ensured smooth running of the project.

What did you find most impressive about this company?
