Building an secure online platform within Life Sciences sector bring a whole lot of complexity, regulation, privacy, and security with it. Garwan is a strong software partner for us, with the right skills and expertise to help build such a digital platform.

Together with Garwan we started with few rounds of estimation, planning and scoping. The result provided a perfect groundwork for further setting up the project plan, define timelines, and milestones. Applying the Agile methodology and the right tooling we were able to create a perfect flow of project/software development together with Garwan.

A small and very effective team of developers from Garwan teamed up with us to create the agile and lean team. With our experience in agile project management and scrum, this resulted in a strong team of Agile practitioners, developers, architects, and designers that formed a very strong and efficient team.

The project and milestones are met in full range. With 2-week sprints we were able to deliver all deadlines sprint after sprint, pinpoint the pain points and hurdles on time, and come up with the right strategy te resolve the issues without delays.

I am in the Management Board of a SME IT company. We are developing an ERP solution as well es eCommerce applications, running a Datacenter an do trading with IT hardware.

The project is an individual development for an important customer of ours. It was crucial to understand the business background of the various processes the app covers.

Garwan was suggested to us and by the beginning of the project, we already gathered the first experience with them in the area of maintenenance of other apps.

The project was the compostion of an android app to run on ZEBRA MDE devices. Following requirements had to be met: - offline solution - portrait mode - ability to take photos - synchronisation with erp data - > 20.000 products and > 10.000 b2b customers - geoinformation

What was the team composition?

Garwan was the implementation partner. They covered the technical and visual design, as well as the coding of the project. As the project is finished now, they became the maintenance partner for the solution. One of our responsible business consultants for the customer took the lead in the requirements elicitation process as he had a long year experience regarding customer processes.

The users of the app are is the delivery personnel of the customer. It supports the following use cases: - login - selection of vehicle - display of daily route/ tasks - handling unplanned tasks - status of every single stopp/ tasks - loading goods - delivering goods - picking up return shipments - payment - task completion - problem/ cancellation handling - documentation via photo

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project met the key requirements for time, quality and budget. As a result of a very professional requirement engineering process, the go-live of the app was straightforward. The staff of the customer picked up their new working tool very fast thanks to a well elaborate user experience concept.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Although ERP development and mobile development are very different areas the collaboration worked very well. In our view this happened because of the following reasons: - the customer had a clear idea of the fuctions and features of the app - Our Business Consultant could take care of all business relevant implications of the customer requirements.

Garwan was fast learning and very eager to understand the background of the requested features. Although most of the time we they were working remote, there was a constand progress. - The alignments were conducted very professional and efficiently.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

To sum up there were three things: - Besiede the technical experience they also picked up the business content very fast. - During the whole project we were confident to have a professional technical partner. - Garwan was eager to deliver a great product and meet the high expectations of the customer.

To resolve and grow our business activities we needed a specialized webshop and therefore an experienced IT-solution provider to offer us a custom solution to fulfill our vision of the e-shop.

The goal was to design and implement a reliable state-of-the-art webshop solution for us, which would be also attractive to our customers and boost our sales and market standing.

We did a market research and asked several agencies/software houses for offers, from which Garwan came out as the best choice considering both technical and financial aspects.

We had a clear understanding of the products and product categories we want to sell via the e-shop, but were not versed in the technical aspects.

We had two workshops with Garwan which resulted in wireframes and mockups and from then on Garwan was able to implement the shop with ease and became our trusted partner for the maintenance and change requests of the webshop.

The project team had about three people, depending on the phase of the project, as the works started with design and consulting and went through technical implementation to the current support phase.

For us Garwan was an enabler, as we did not have an e-shop before this project and the work of Garwan opened us to the whole market.

With the good experiences we had during design and implementation, we've never considered entrusting anyone else with our shop's development and support needs. We would do this project again with Garwan.

Project management was very impressive - very responsive and timely, but also helped throughout the project to save resources by staying lean and agile.

How much understanding they have of the issues of the customer and how much they obviously love what they do.

We don't honestly see where Garwan should improve, we are very satisfied and can only recommend them.
