What challenge were you trying to address with GamePlan Marketing, Inc.?

We were looking to nurture some prospects by launching a monthly email newsletter.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired GamePlan Marketing, Inc. to help us with our newsletter. They’ve designed the creative template for the newsletter, which we use on a monthly basis. They’re also tasked with designing the layout for each newsletter issue, doing all the copy review and editing, scheduling and delivering the newsletter, managing the email list, and providing analytics and reporting for each issue. We developed the overall content strategy for the newsletter, but they’ve provided great suggestions to optimize the vehicle.

We had worked with GamePlan Marketing, Inc. on some previous content marketing campaigns. We loved their work, so we decided to engage them again for this project.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent around $6,000 on the initial project and ongoing newsletter campaigns.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in March 2022, and the engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The biggest measure of success for this engagement would be our click-through rate, which is 36% better than the industry average. This definitely speaks to the engaging templates and content they’ve helped us create.

GamePlan Marketing, Inc. has performed well in terms of project management. They're extremely effective — they're very responsive, and they always meet the timelines that they set out. They’ve also turned things around quicker than any other agency I've ever worked with, and I've worked with many in my career.

GamePlan Marketing, Inc.’s expertise in the tech industry is what sets them apart in terms of being able to help businesses like ours and allows them to provide amazing strategic advice to help us grow. I also can't say enough about how professional and responsive they are.

No, I have no complaints.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

It’s a good idea to involve them in strategic planning and allow them to become a collaborative partner because they know the best practices in the industry and in online and offline channels. I strongly believe that following their best advice will lead to the best business outcomes.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I work for an IT Distribution Company. We market on behalf of our partners and reseller customers to generate leads, build pipeline and create brand awareness. My role is as an intermediary between these parties, and for some projects, I source 3rd party agencies like GamePlan to help us execute on these strategies.

For what projects/services did your company hire GamePlan Marketing, Inc. ?

We wanted to create content to secure net new names for our end-user email nurture program. Since we did not have marketers with this skill set in-house, we hired GP to create a content syndication campaign to generate net new names. The customized the program entirely for me, ensuring that the branding and messages used were not only compliant, but effective to meet the campaign’s targets in a timely manner.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have used GamePlan for previous content syndication campaigns and I have always been pleased with the results. They are my first choice for these kinds of projects.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

The aim was to use campaign assets via content syndication to secure 100 net new names (TOFL). We developed a corresponding workflow to further qualify these names through an email nurture program. GamePlan met with me weekly to review the campaign's set-up and ongoing management. They provided me with weekly reporting and a detailed final report.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

They assigned a dedicated project manager with extensive experience on these types of campaigns.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was completed on time and within budget. They also provided an additional 6 net new names above the 100 goal.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We met weekly every Monday to review the project's execution and momentum. Reporting was available to me on a SharePoint site, so I had access to the data in real time whenever I needed to review it.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What I appreciate most about GamePlan is that they are very service and results oriented. If they cannot deliver a quality campaign with the results I need, they will not move forward. That said, they do not say 'no'. They discuss other campaign ideas with me that would work better. It was a very collaborative approach.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I have done a number of Content Syndication programs with GamePlan and I am pleased with how we are managing these projects.
