Please describe your company and your position there.

I work for an online media outlet covering the luxury watch industry.

For what projects/services did your company hire Function, and what were your goals?

We had designed a new email template for an Automated RSS email in line with new branding and our website redesign. We needed help translating this design into a usable template.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I have worked with Mike before and always found his knowledge and service to be excellent. He’s always delivered on time and we’ll within budget, whilst offering genuine unbiased advice along the way. His recommendations are always in the best interest of his client/project.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

The email template was built in HTML for use within Mailchimp. We provided a design guide and he built the rest and tested it across mobile device compatibility using litmus.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I only worked with Mike, the founder and managing director at Function.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The final product was exactly what we needed and had struggled to get from other sources. Very happy with the work!

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Communication was clear and frequent. Aftersales follow-up has been thorough and thoughtful. Much appreciated.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

As stated above, aftersales follow-up and continued support.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

None. We were very happy with every aspect of the project.
