SF Motors
SF Motors is an international electric vehicle manufacturer. At the time, they were in need of having a website built for their product reveal and brand launch. This international launch was scheduled to be go live in both China and the US. Specifically, SF Motors needed help managing a livestream broadcast on their site while also hosting a countdown teaser of the product reveal. In addition, they needed a CMS (content management system) that could support chinese language. Most importantly they wanted advanced animations to showcase their product online.
In order to faciliate this, we spent two months with SF Motors in San Jose, California making sure their brand and product launched without issue. During this process, we partnered with a creative agency called Shapes+Forms to create the design and aesthetic for SF Motors' website and online video. We were tasked with managing the livestream of the product reveal online, and of the countdown teaser page on the website. We created in depth animations for SF Motors on a custom CMS platform. SFMotors had a succesful launch with a large number of press outlets picking up the car reveal. After the launch, we worked with SF Motors to manage the web maintenance for their website. This included a conversion of their website to WordPress, continued maintenance and security, development of new pages and content, and in-depth SEO.

Boastable
Boastable was the brain child of the Fueled on Bacon team.
When conceptualizing Boastable, we noticed the need from our clients for a product that would help with their online reputation. We also wanted to build a product we would use ourselves and share with our clients. After evaluating other products, we felt that they did not fit the needs of what we were seeking to accomplish.
Our journey with Boastable proved a lot to our team. From start to finish, we built a feedback and review software tool with a unique brand, a full functioning marketing website, a professional grade promotional video, and had a successful product launch in just six weeks. Since then, we have been building new features to the product, while creating and managing Boastable's advertising campaigns.

Stone Mosaics
Stone Mosaics has been in business for over ten years and their website has been active for nearly as long. In that time they have garnered a high level of search engine visibility with relevant queries. The main goals that they set out for Fueled on Bacon to accomplish were as follows:
A modern redesign of their website.
Preserving their established SEO and URL sitemap.
Present all of the products that they offer to their vendors in a highly organized and categorized system of “showroom” style galleries.
Stone Mosiacs was very excited with the final product at launch. We built them a clean, solid site that has, since its completion, experienced a substantial amount of traffic (around 2,500 visitors per month). It is meant to be easily navigable where current vendors and the uninitiated alike can locate what they are looking for. Not only is the site structurally sound, it is also visually appealing with the addition of tasteful usage of animations and rollover states.

VRScout
VR Scout is a major player in the realm of virtual media and Fueled on Bacon had a unique opportunity to work with them. We were tasked with creating a marketing platform site for virtual reality oriented events and experiences, with the added goal and deadline to facilitate an exclusive live stream of President Barack Obama’s farewell speech at the request of the White House. Fun fact: YouTube did not support a method for embedding a 360° live stream when we began this project.
After a whirlwind development sprint, launch day had finally arrived and millions tuned in to experience this historical event in a revolutionary new way. VR Scout now has a flexible solution to embed all future 360° live streams and create landing pages that are independent of the parent theme on their widely read website. We are proud to have worked on a project of such significance.

Fiction Pictures
Fiction Pictures expressed interest in wanting to overhaul their online presence. Through a few initial conversations, a more concise vision was established: create an immersive, simple to navigate website that would showcase their extensive body of work. This would include individual pages for each director on their team, past clients/brands and every past project with an embedded video player to boot. All of that was in addition to the required core pages, as well as considerations for responsive design and user experience.
After much effort, we successfully delivered the immersive media experience Fiction Pictures wanted. Each portfolio item showcases their amazing talent while offering an entertainment-like user experience. Additionally, they now have the ability to add new content with ease, keeping their online portfolio fresh and up to date. FictionPictures.com has a seamless design and layout to compliment their clear passion for what they do and impressive body of work.

Rapid Replay
Rapid Replay came to us with a functional iOS application that was not optimized for speed and scalability. Their CTO expressed having issues with uploading videos to their iOS app, and was looking for assitance and a solution that would make video encoding cleaner and faster. In addition, this new system needed to be automated so the when the videos were uploaded they could be transcoded to be smaller and formatted for mobile.
After the project was completed, we built Rapid Replay a custom video player that is used on multiple partner websites and is connected to Amazon Web Service (AWS). The application now automatically takes videos that are uploaded on the Rapid Replay app and web player and makes them available on partner websites. In creating this custom video player, it allowed for Rapid Replay to gain more exposure and make new partnerships. In addition, the video player was optimized to serve ads, so Rapid Replay could secure a revenue stream.

Shadowbid
Our relationship with the ShadowBid team is a special one as we had the privilege of being involved at an early stage with this unique startup. The idea is simple: what if you could see the history of pricing on Amazon while you were browsing? Additionally, what if you could place a bid to purchase any item at a lower historical price automatically? The ShadowBid Chrome extension we built in conjunction with their in-house team answers both of those questions with a resounding YES! A separate page with a form for investor inquiry was also needed.
Everybody wants to save money, and what’s more satisfying than securing the best deal for your dollar? ShadowBid helps users find this financial enlightenment by comparing product’s current price against historical pricing on Amazon. Once you place a bid the extension will track the product until it drops to your desired price and then it will “execute” your bid to purchase automatically. It’s a simple convenience that will save you loads of time and headache. We tested it out after the build and used the app to buy inflatable couches for our offices at an all-time low price. Just imagine what it could do for you!

Indigo Unveiled
Indigo Unveiled is an online jewelry company. Their inspiration comes from rich historic cultures that are embedded in esoteric traditions. With this they mix sacred wisdom, symbolism, and precious gems. Indigo Unveiled reached out to us to create a custom website for them in order to drive more sales. They wanted to seamlessly showcase their collections and pieces while also conveying the vision and intention of each piece.
In order to meet the goals and needs of Indigo Unveiled, we built a custom website and onling shopping platform on Shopify for them. The purpose of using Shopify was so Indigo Unveiled could focus a majority of their efforts and goals on sales and generating demand for their goods. In addition to the work we did for their website, we also managed their photography, set structure to each of the pages on their website. As a result of the increase in traffic to th enew website, Indigo Unveiled has increased the size of their collection, and is making more sales.

Prentice Law
Prentice Law is an estate and elder law firm based in Melbourne, FL. Alec K. Prentice, founder and president of Prentice Law expressed interest in having a new website built in order to garner a better online presence. He wanted something that would showcase all their practice areas in an easy to navigate way, while also increasing their visiblity in online searches.
After meeting with Alec Prentice, we learned that his practice needed a fresh take on branding. To go along with a new, optimized website build, we also provided Prentice Law with custom stock photography services, and custom copy for each of the practices they offer. On otop of this we designed a new logo, and had business cards made for their office. When everything was said and done, Prentice Law received a new brand, a brand launch, and a new website. Prentice Law now ranks on the first page of Google for Elder Law in Melbourne Florida.

Web Development for Silicon Valley Startup
“They’re very proactive. They knew how to react, and they anticipated our needs.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We are an electric vehicle startup based in Silicon Valley. My role is head of digital marketing.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fueled on Bacon?
We wanted a full-stack, front- and backend web agency who could handle our server stack, a custom CMS, and frontend design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We came to the table with a blank slate, and we hoped to use them in place of an internal web team. We ultimately engaged them for server management, hosting management, and all our backend needs. We hired another agency to manage the design, so as that agency finalized pieces, Fueled on Bacon coded all the work. Initially, we used a custom CMS built on Node.js framework, but we’ve since migrated to WordPress with their help.
We needed to control different functions of the website, and turn them on or off independently. The CMS needed to support that modular web structure, and we needed that flexibility to tell our company story and our product story through the website. That story included several hard-coded, website-based animations that needed to be programmed frame by frame.
We expected we would need full commerce and funnel functionality to generate pre-orders, and a vehicle configurator function with 360-degree views and pricing options for custom builds. We also wanted to generate more leads with the data coming through the CRM. We discovered our needs weren’t as robust for the near future, which was part of the impetus to move to WordPress.
What is the team composition?
We have a main point of contact who acts as the business lead, and a dedicated day-to-day project manager. We worked with a minimum of three developers and one designer, but the full team may be bigger.
How did you come to work with Fueled on Bacon?
Our design agency highly recommended them, so we approached them for this project.
How much have you invested with them?
To date, we’ve spent around $500,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in December 2017. We’re still working with their team, but the largest part of the collaboration wrapped up at the beginning of 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
From a metric standpoint, my page load times and overall site performance are phenomenal. They're very responsive, flexible, and dedicated to making the client happy. Our needs tend to shift, so we needed that flexibility to accommodate our changing scope and timeline. They delivered stellar work overall.
How did Fueled on Bacon perform from a project management standpoint?
Given our shifting timelines and priorities, they did a terrific job. The project management team kept us on task, raised timeline, functionality, and project risks as they appeared, and were straightforward and transparent at all times. They were never emotional, but always professional, and they went above and beyond to deliver.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their flexibility and willingness to work with our changing requirements were very helpful. The extra value of the relationship came from their understanding of our business and our processes. They’re very proactive. They knew how to react, and they anticipated our needs.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The contract and scoping phase could be a little more efficient, but I really have no complaints.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Give them full, candid visibility into your organizational structure and processes, including marketing, financial, and business procedures. That will allow them to set expectations and a timeline based on realistic milestones.

Please describe your company and your position there.
A-Lodge Hospitality is an adventure themed hotel and van rental business based in Colorado.
For what projects/services did your company hire Fueled on Bacon, and what were your goals?
Our website was out of date. We also wanted to integrate our new location as well as our van rental business into a seamless new look.
How did you select Fueled on Bacon and what were the deciding factors?
I had seen some of their other work and felt that they had the skills and focus to bring our digital image and footprint up to where we needed to be.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
They first restructured our existing website. This process was a pleasure, easy, and quick. They took the best parts of our existing site and then magically modernized it keeping me in the loop the whole time. It was easy to work with the Fueled on Bacon team and easy to provide my input to form the ideal website.
A few months later, we acquired a new property. They quickly worked with us to integrate that property into the new website and provide an amazing and robust system for us to be able to continue to expand.
Rather than just building the site for what was in our portfolio now, they helped us build a framework for the future. They then helped us with SEO and digital advertising, coming full circle, and making my life much easier.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
I worked with a lead engineer, lead marketing guru, lead copywriter. Their team is robust and everyone is super professional yet very easy to work with and kind.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Check out the website. It speaks for itself: www.a-lodge.com
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timelines.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Communication, technical ability, focus on modern style and relevance. Integration of marketing, seo and the site itself.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Not really... Honestly, I was incredibly happy with them.
