Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am a partner at a real estate and property management company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fourandhalf, Inc.?
We wanted to improve our online reputation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, we targeted our Google and Yelp reviews seeking to improve them. Then, the project scope kept mushrooming to bigger projects as we were happy with their results. They took over our Google Ads spending and our digital marketing efforts.
After that, they redesigned and developed our website. Our previous one was standard and cheesy, now it’s a lot nicer and a more efficient way for our tenants to pay rent. There are also blogs on the site now, as they help to contribute content.
What is the team composition?
Karen (Account Manager, Fourandhalf, Inc.) is my main go-to point person. I’ve also dealt with 4–5 other people.
How did you come to work with Fourandhalf, Inc.?
They were involved with a property management software I use, so I knew their name. Then, they spoke at a seminar I attended. Afterward, I talked to the owner and Karen and hired them.
How much have you invested with them?
It’s a relatively tough minimum, at $13,000 a year. Usually, I spend $15,000 a year, but I’ve spent up to $22,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began work in November 2016 and the work is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
When I started with Fourandhalf, Inc., I was at 1.5 stars on Google with 20 reviews. Now I’m at 4.1 stars with 400 reviews. They made a huge difference.
How did Fourandhalf, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?
They’re phenomenal. I don’t understand 80% of what they tell me, all their tech jargon and Google metrics. What I do know is that their services work. Karen is incredibly easy to work with and we have built up a great relationship.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Most of their clients are searching for new business. I don’t need any new business. They fully pivoted and adapted their strategies to fit my needs. They’re not stuck in a box, which is very rare.
Are there any areas they could improve?
If I don’t understand something, it’s because I don’t care to learn. They’re great at trying to teach me, though.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be completely open about what you need. They’ll likely be able to fill your needs if you don’t hold back.

I am the owner broker of a property management firm serving the greater San Francisco Bay area.
For what projects/services did your company hire Fourandhalf, Inc.?
We were looking to increase our online reputation as a way increase our visibility for online organic searches for property management companies. We also wanted to increase our digital marketing and online branding via social media. As a midsize company I didn't have the in house expertise, nor did it make sense resource wise to develop in house expertise.
What were your goals for this project?
Our goal was to be one of the top 5 companies that appeared in searches and to increase our reputation to 4 stars.
How did you select this vendor?
I selected this vendor after spending considerable time talking with their team as well as current customers of theirs. I considered their customer service, i.e. how quickly they responded to vm and emails; looked at their own reputation and what current customers had to say, and lastly I looked at their pricing.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
After signing the contract there were a number of on boarding meeting where we discussed a number of different issues and then brainstormed on the best way to address them. They were responsible for producing the content for our social media, managing reviews and our online reputation, making suggestions on our to improve our website.

They had a very involved team with folks from web development, digital marketing, reputation, producing blogs and podcasts.

Since working with this vendor we have achieve our stated goals. They listen and take very seriously any feedback and concerns you have and always try to find the best solution to address them.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They are exceptional to work with, very responsive, actively listen and work to build solutions to address your specific issues. It is never a one size fits all.

I am the Owner / Broker of Hoffman Realty LLC, a full-service residential real estate company in Tampa, Florida. We specialize in single-family rentals and property management in a tri-county area around Tampa.
For what projects/services did your company hire Fourandhalf, Inc.?
The residential Property Management market is very competitive in Tampa with many good local competitors and several large national competitors that have entered the market.
We know that we offer high-quality service and wanted to be able to communicate this to prospects who are a good match for the services we offer. This isn't easy with so many choices being offered. We did not have the internal capability to build a sophisticated advertising and marketing campaign so we wanted an agency that understood us and our market place.
What were your goals for this project?
We were seeking to grow our company with the "right" customers. The "right" customers for us are often novice investors (just getting started with their first property) or accidental real estate investors (unable or unwilling to immediately sell a property they own so they choose to rent it for some period of time). We find ourselves in a position to really help these types of investors through a potentially difficult period in their life, often filled with anxiety and uncertainty.
How did you select this vendor?
We have been using this vendor since they were founded, almost 7 years ago. We were one of their 3 original customers. Subsequently, we have continued to renew our relationship with them annually. They have several competitors, but they set the standard in the residential property management industry.

FourandHalf handles most aspects of our advertising and marketing. Our website, SEO, Adwords campaign and landing page, content marketing, reputation management and CRM.
What was the team composition?
We interface with different team members for the different aspects of advertising and marketing. But we have a single point of contact in our account manager that pulls it all together.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Since we hired FourandHalf we have steadily grown Hoffman Realty organically. This has caused us to grow the top-line, but more importantly, we have grown the bottom-line, on average 10% per year, because we have been able to grow with customers who are the best match for our services.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The largest project we undertook was a new website in 2019. This went very smoothly as communications were excellent. Timelines and expectations were clearly specified and if there were issues they were efficiently handled.

What is most impressive about FourandHalf is their company culture. They love their work and truly care about their customers.

They seem to do a really good job of putting the right people in the right seat at their company. The team they have built is very impressive.
