While Fooz delivered an overall great service, there were some areas where improvement could have enhanced the experience. Specifically, due to the size and complexity of our websites, navigating the multitude of global settings initially proved less intuitive and required several training sessions to grasp fully.

FOOZ prepared a convenient WordPress panel for us to manage 9 language versions, which we can conveniently and quickly translate for individual markets. FOOZ successfully transferred over 1000 unique posts from our previous website, incorporating all relevant elements like images, tags, metadata, links, and categories. This included a seamless integration of the backend infrastructure into the new architecture, ensuring every detail was flawlessly imported. 

FOOZ also developed predefined layout sets for various subpages, utilizing reusable blocks for efficiency. The integration of native WordPress blocks with templates was initiated, maximizing their potential. FOOZ integrated our website with our tailored internal newsletter service, enabling the efficient delivery of engaging content to our valued subscribers.

Moreover, in close collaboration with our DevOps and Security departments, the website was launched on a custom-built server and architecture, securing an optimized online environment and enhancing performance, reliability, and user experience.

• Dedicated graphic design - Once we approved the mock-ups, Fooz’s designer prepared the design for each sub-page. 
• WordPress development - Individual subpages were delivered to us on an ongoing basis, according to the presented schedule. 
• Training - Ania, Fooz’s project manager dedicated for this project, conducted a training session for us - we learnt how to upload content to the website and how to create new subpages. 
• Testing and Publication on the server - Fooz did the final testing and, after approval from our side, published the website on the production server.

• Users absolutely love the new graphic design and appreciate that they can now find extensive information about our offer. The new website scores very high on Google Page speed. 100/100 on desktop and 90/100 on mobile which directly translates into better website positioning.

The project manager prepared two schedules before work started - for the design and development stages. The website was delivered on time. The previous version of our website had been built with a third party WordPress editor that was very user-friendly, but had a very negative effect on the performance of the website. That would've become worse with time, especially when scaling up, which is why we chose to migrate to Wordpress' native Gutenberg editor.

To have a 1:1 reproduction of the website, every module had to be recreated as a Gutenberg block. To ensure a similar degree of flexibility as the 3rd party editor, the blocks required numerous customization options.

Fooz's project manager impressed us from the very beginning with his exceptional organizational and communication skills. He ensured that we were always up-to-date with the project's progress and that any questions or concerns we had were addressed promptly. All the resources we needed were made available to us throughout the project. The project manager oversaw the project scope and ensured that all features were completed and delivered on time.

What's more impressive is that the project was completed within budget, and we did not experience any unexpected costs or delays. One of the most valuable things the project manager did was to organize a retrospective after the project ended. This allowed us to reflect on the project's successes and areas for improvement, which was an essential learning opportunity for us.

Implementing the design as it was designed. That is very rare in going from idea to implementation. Very responsive and quick to help/discuss. Great service, can't recommend them enough. if you are going for WP implementation, these guys are for you.

I was happy overall, but the scope/timeframe management could have been better. With a complex project, it is hard to know everything from the start, but as assumptions change, you should communicate and agree on scope/timeframe/budget changes. At times it was missing.

The page, once published, reverberated throughout the organization in a big way. The entire development process went very smoothly and ongoing issues were resolved on the fly. Since the whole website is highly customizable the team manages it easily.

Fooz is very flexible in terms of communication channels and project management. Because of the tight deadline, we used Slack to speed up communication and used Jira to manage the Backlog. Making it on time was not a problem for them.

We discussed the entire project focusing on the most important elements. After the meeting, we received the final project schedule. Fooz started with delivering a homepage and presenting it to us on a staging version.

Subsequently, further views were delivered. After our approval, a training session on content management was conducted so that we could add it on our own. The final stage was testing, optimization and publishing the site on a server of our choice.
