I am COO of Away Together, a mobile application with a focus on secure communication within the travel industry.

For what projects/services did your company hire Flycatch, and what were your goals?

Flycatch was tasked with taking our dream and making it come to life. With little more than a conceptual framework their team took our ideas and built a living, breathing, usable product beyond our expectations.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

After being burned by our initial designers, we interviewed more than 50 design companies. We found Flycatch, or perhaps they found us, via LinkedIn. Their extensive and detail oriented proposal captured our attention as to their way of building relationships and doing business.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

From day one, Flycatch has stuck to a milestone schedule down to the day as outlined in the initial proposal. Any delay, real or potential, was addressed immediately as to the cause and length of the delay. Any questions we had would typically prompt a meeting to discuss the issue, its cause and, most importantly, its solution.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We were introduced to our Project Manager, JK, in our initial meeting. He was our primary point of contact. He has fielded dozens (if not hundreds) of emails, messages, and meetings to answer whatever requests and questions we might have. There were several others who provided their expertise where needed.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Flycatch has delivered 100% of their promises to us.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

As stated, our primary communication has been with our Project Manager, JK. JK has a very hands on, address problems head-on approach. I am convinced he does not sleep. Any time we had a question, regardless of the time of day, we had a response, immediately. With respect to the fact that ours is not the only project he is working on, he always made us feel like it was.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Flycatch's level of customer service is rare today. They value quality over all else and clearly take tremendous pride in their work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There truthfully is no criticism I could place. They have performed above and beyond our expectations. My primary critical statement is I wish we had found them sooner.

I’m the head of operations and HR for a digital healthcare solutions firm.

What challenge were you trying to address with Flycatch?

One of the biggest challenges for any IT business is the quality of development services. We’ve been building complex platforms and applications in an extremely competitive market, so we needed to make sure our team had the highest-quality technical thinkers on the market.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’ve provided us with team members to help handle development projects that need extra support. In general, they’ve focused on front-end development in Angular, Ionic, and JavaScript.

We’ve charged them with acclimating themselves to the specificities of the projects quickly and communicating directly with our clients to understand their needs. They’ve acted as an extension of our team.

What is the team composition?

The specific number of teammates has fluctuated throughout the engagement, but we’ve always had at least two of their team members supporting us.

How did you come to work with Flycatch?

They were referred to the CEO of our company. We use a very stringent process in evaluating any prospective partners, and this engagement was no different. After screening them, we felt confident in their service offerings.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent somewhere between $75,000-$100,000 with them.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve worked together since June 2019.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Their team has proven to be extremely dedicated and highly capable. They learn quickly when tasked with a new project and have helped our team meet all our clients’ needs. We consistently evaluate their team members as if they were a part of our own team, conducting quarterly performance reviews and reaching out to our clients to get their feedback. Everything’s been positive so far. There have been no problems with the quality of their work.

How did Flycatch perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve been fantastic, especially the two team members we’ve worked with for the longest amount of time. They work independently when necessary, but collaborate with our team well. They’re consistently proactive in providing updates in our project management tools. They communicate well in internal and external affairs and can analyze technical issues as well as anyone I’ve worked with. They’ve never caused us to miss any deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re consistently able to improve their skill sets and collaborate effectively. Their team is always open to new training and hasn’t been hampered by operating remotely.

Are there any areas they could improve?

In some short-term engagements, we’ve been assigned team members that didn’t necessarily have the skill sets we needed. Their communication has lacked at certain points as well.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Consider them for any development needs you have. They’ll showcase their services accurately. Not every member of their team will be the same, but if you give them a fair chance to perform you’ll be happy.

I’m the owner of a startup in pre-seed stage.

For what projects/services did your company hire Flycatch, and what were your goals?

We hired Flycatch to help us create our platform from scratch. Our biggest goals were to create ready to use product, advanced technologically in short period of time.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a company that will help us at every stage of the project. Deciding factors in our case were wide range of Flycatch services, their transparency and approach towards customers. Even though our budget was tight they were always providing the best possible solution at the price range we had.

After a few mails and a meeting we have agreed on the provided budget. We were given very precise statement of work with time schedule. Our project consists of three milestones. From designing through platform creation ending on ready to use system. We had been assigned to Flucatch project management team which were providing us with the best solutions, constant support and was open for our suggestions. The platform was made from scratch using python. Flycatch helped us to create a technology that is unique and helps us gaining competitive advantage over our competitors.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Main issues at the beginning of the project were discussed with co-owner and CMO. Project was run by PM responsible for development and CMO who was supporting all the processes. The team assigned to our project consisted of at least six people: graphic designers and developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

After two months we will be able to start sales. Flycatch helped us turn idea into a product and thanks to them we are now in talks with potential investors.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Main communication tools were google chat, google meet and mails. We had meetings every week where the project performance was discussed. Communication was the biggest issue in our case due to different time zones but the team adjusted to us and it went smoothly. We had no problems reaching out with any concerns or suggestions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

People. I think that people working there make Flycatch unique. Their commitment and skills combined with super friendly attitude are a perfect mix. They have all we have expected and can present it in a way that is understandable even for non tech customers.
