Accredited Construction are a loft conversion company in North London. They generally had a pretty healthy Google Ads campaign but a few small things were eroding it’s efficiency. Waterjel Technologies are world experts in the treatment of thermal burns. They manufacture a leading edge two-step treatment that cools, soothes, relieves pain, hydrates and reduces inflammation during radiotherapy. They needed to reach different countries speaking different languages. Meaning what was needed was a multilingual e-commerce website which showcased their products in four of the most widely spoken languages in the world as well as selling in three different currencies. The existing Arlington residential website was not performing to the standard suggested by it's impressive high street presence and existing client list.
Background
Arlington Residential are an independent estate agent in Central and North West London. Arlington brought us specific requirements; they wanted a responsive, mobile compatible website that would encompass comprehensive search facilities and allow access to property portals including Zoopa, On the Market, and Rightmove.
The problem
The existing website was not performing, its low-tech design meant it was non-responsive on all platforms and difficult to access on mobile devices. For what projects/services did your company hire Flycast Media, and what were your goals?
We hired them to undertake B2B search engine optimisation and inbound marketing for one of our clients. Towards the middle of 2020 we needed to help them switch direction quickly in terms of lead generation because of that pandemic and Flycast were very helpful and agile at the time.

They came through personal recommendation although we did speak to a couple of their current and previous clients to get feedback about return on investment, their working processes and overall ideology.

Initially we bought Flycast in to help with our client's account-based marketing strategy. Their brief was to work closely with the client's own in-house team across a multidiscipline approach which included organic search, paid search, paid social advertising, webinars and hosted events, email nurturing and the whole sales funnel. Our client required a very focused approach across five main verticals: finance, insurance, life science, public sector and energy/utilities.
Our client has a lot of previous content that needed auditing and updating and they managed to implement this extremely quickly as well as create very successful campaigns specifically around Covid19 in the education sector (which was something extra added to the brief at a later date). They provided an extremely in-depth content plan geared across all our client's target markets and the content they produced was extremely technically aware, educational and proved successful at drawing potential prospects into the middle of a very technical sales funnel using excellent landing pages, CTAs and long-form content.
They also helped build a complex inbound/marketing automation campaign for our client using their large database and this was extremely productive in producing multiple webinars and meetings. Overall they were able to onboard a large and complex campaign very quickly and produce the results our client wanted within the timeframe given.

Because of the pandemic situation our client was forced to cancel an extremely important and large live event in America planned for December 2020. This was replaced with much more granular webinar/video-based campaign which needed to get off the ground quickly. Our client needed both existing contacts/prospects and new leads to engage quickly and Flycast media leveraged excellent content and campaigns which made this happen especially within the pharmaceutical and utilities sectors. Overall our client was extremely pleased with the results.

Flycast are very good at being on the end of the phone when you need them to be and since our client pivoted away from the original brief more than once it was great that Shane and Flycast team were so agile. I am the contracts manager at Central lofts, a home improvement company in Central and West London. We have multiple teams working around the city and the Home Counties providing loft conversions, kitchens and extensions etc.
For what projects/services did your company hire Flycast Media?
We contacted Flycast Media to help bring us more customer leads for our company as we are expanding the amount of teams we have on the road.
What were your goals for this project?
To increase customers in the London and Home Counties area. We also wanted to improve the overall quality of inbound calls and leads.
How did you select this vendor?
We found from a Google ad in the first place, and they have a strong portfolio and good testimonials. We looked at a couple of other companies, but in the end Flycast Media instilled confidence in us from the start which is why we went with them.
Describe the project in detail.
We asked them to take over our Google ads campaign. In the beginning they overhauled our account, rewrote all the ads and using keyword research they streamlined the account maximising efficiency and bringing overall cost per lead down. They developed a really good-looking landing page that made a huge difference to our overall conversion rate.
When the coronavirus lockdown came into effect, overall enquiries did drop off. To combat this they suggested (and put together) an excellent "loft cost estimator" multistep landing page that completely turned things around, and last month we had over 27 leads from it, even though people aren't allowed to leave their house.
What was the team composition?
Our communication is with Shane who runs the team, and we find him very responsive to any of our queries. He pretty much answers emails on the same day every time.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I get a comprehensive report every month showing our overall costs and clicks. I also get a monthly report of all the landing page form completions. We have steadily increased spend, but the new loft estimator landing page has really made a difference and we received over 50 conversions in May, which is outstanding bearing in mind market conditions because of lockdown.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
As I'm out on the road all the time, I generally communicate with them by email and they have been very effective in dealing with any of my queries. They are proactive in suggesting changes to our Google account on a regular basis and these have led to significant improvements.
I feel they take extra effort in trying to help us achieve what we need to do and they have made suggestions about using email marketing and automation to ensure we make the most out of every lead.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They have a no-nonsense customer driven approach. I get the impression that they are more concerned about ensuring their clients get the most out of Google AdWords than anything else.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We've asked them to increase our spend and undertake other marketing work for us and they've always been very good at reacting to any feedback that we provide.

We needed help with our Google AdWords advertising as we felt we could do better. They initially undertook a full AdWords audit, recommended specific landing pages to help with overall conversion rate optimisation. They cleaned up the account and made it a lot more efficient overall.

I deal with Shane (the owner) and sometimes Richard the PPC manager.

At a very early stage of the project we noticed that cost per conversion and conversion rate were significantly down, which was a great start.
Since then we have increased budget and we are very pleased with the results. We also added campaigns for maintenance and repairs which have proved very successful. We went from below 20 quality leads a month to 30+ which really made a difference to our business.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
They send regular reports, and are always available on the phone. Over time we have needed to refine our target areas as well as demographic and they have been very proactive in helping us do this. They often make suggestions and improvements, and I feel they have our best interests at heart.

We had been managing the account ourselves but as we got a bit bigger we found the process more challenging with larger spends and we didn't have the time to do it in-house. We were looking for somebody two reconfigure the account and improve overall ROI.

We searched on social media, reached out to four potential vendors in total and went through a selection process. We chose them as they were enthusiastic about what we wanted to achieve, and had a good knowledge of our industry.

We spent a lot less money to gain the amount of paying customers needed to meet our targets.

Once we had been working together for three months less communication was needed although any queries were answered on the same day and we found them very attentive overall. We also had regular Skype/phone calls to discuss monthly reports.
