During the move, at the begging I had weekly calls with the CTO, then weekly ZOOM withe the Project Manager. I appreciated the coordination by mails.

Having many services in one company, dealing with someone open minded and trustful

I was a little bit disappointed by the web design, the result was satisfactory but overestimated

I am the General Director or a private educational center. We have one location in Romania and we offer both physical and online courses (all over Europe).

We were dealing with entering al data manually and that cost us a lot of resources in terms of people and finances. We asked Flowmatters to build us a platform that could easily manage the human resources data automatically, offering the personnel transparency. Also, to manage the feedback from teachers and advisers to hundreds of clients systematically, without human manual interference or delay. This not only reduces the work but also improved quality and results.

We found them by referral.

We firstly gave them a detailed description of what we do and what we need. They completed the description asking their pointed questions needed. We had steps and check-ups, a lot of friendly and constructive questions for us, in order for them to be precise with what we wanted. They offered detailed timelines, in order to be conscious regarding the time and finances invested and offered alternatives if it was too much at that moment.

I had 3 people working with me: the project manager, the developer and the general director.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within the first 4 months, we reduced the manual work of 2 people. We received higher appreciation from our costumers. We were able to be in time with clients Report, which we were always late with. The work really reduced and we had less errors in course schedulling.

They always met deadlines, always solved the problems very fast, one or two days, and always gave precise feedback regarding it. We communicated by email and video calls if needed.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I really found it very relying and trustworthy the fact that they took time to really understand and produce what we needed, without saying “that” not possible” to anything. Everything we want has been possible, and they improve my ideas and meet our needs.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

There were some things that functioned well at first, and then they needed readjustment afterwords. I understand, though, that this is part of the job.

Havași Instalații are the unique distributor in Romania of the Austrian PicoEnergy heat pumps. We specialise in heating, cooling, ventilation and hot water using top-notch renewable technologies provided by our pioneer manufacturer and also low temperature radiant heating. What were your goals for this project?

Replicating and implementing the initial web design of the manufacturer PicoEnergy for our target Romanian speaking audience. Secondly, with the experts at Flowmatters we are working on improving the SEO of the website and other website fine-tunings visible only for the expert eye but with a great impact on the end-user.

Based on their case studies and portfolio we have decided to approach them for an initial estimate. The Flowmatters team showed increased interest in our project and we knew right for the get-go that they are the team we want to have working on this project.

Very good project management and easy to reach specialists: this is what made the difference throughout the project. Discussing the initial targets of the project and also the extensive feedback we could receive on our ideas and vice-versa on their work has made them the dream-team to work with.

What we appreciate the most is their availability and willingness to clarify technical aspects and terms that are not accessible for the lay person outside the field but also the clear road map they have provided for our digital journey. Additionally, their openness to follow back on any of our changes from the initial plan has proven their flexibility which is always crucial for any project that might be subject to changes due to the internal management of the client.

The management was very open about their processes. Although we have kept in contact mainly with our project manager from start to end we were also referred directly to several of their specialists for concrete tasks which provided easy communication and helped speed up the whole project.

We are happy that we now have an online presence that matches the unparalleled exceptionality of our products. Right now we are on the path of having our SEO dramatically improved thanks to their team of experts in the field.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

They are always reachable by e-mail, telephone and other frequently used communication platforms. The planning was always well done beforehand, explicit and, most importantly, ahead of schedule.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The results. Although we have never met in person, it is clear that once they give their word they do not take it back. Also, their responsiveness and friendliness are team traits that are so obvious and clearly facilitate the interaction between them and end clients.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Apart from them developing an algorithm that could read clients' minds without clients having to speak, I don't think there is an area where they could have improved and they haven't. So, my recommendation for any future client: get in touch with Flowmatters. They are at the top of their game.

We needed an easy-to-use website to make information available to our current patients as well as for new ones. Our dental office needed to be easy to find through search engines and we wanted more visibility online.

We had a few meetings in which we mentioned what were the most important aspects that should be included and which services were important to us. We didn't exactly have experience in this field so we couldn't provide more information, we focused mainly on our services and we told them why we needed help. They did the research for our industry and recommended key features based on our industry. They also provided mood-boards for the look and feel of the website, so we could easily choose the right design for our website. They also build our website following SEO guidelines and after launch, they continued with optimization to gain a better rank in organic search results. They also helped us with setting up and managing our Google Ads campaigns, which helped us gain more clients. As we are still collaborating, they helped us through the years with website updates, maintenance, technical optimization, SEO and Google Ads.

We received daily updates from a project manager during the development process upon delivery. For our project there was a backend developer, a frontend developer, a web designer, a SEO specialist and an online marketing specialist. Since we've been working with them for a long time, some of the team members have changed, but their services are still great, even better. We've grown as a company and so did they, as their team is a lot bigger now.

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

Since our website's launch, SEO and Google Ads campaigns, our client data base has increased by 25% in the first month. Within a few months, we managed to be more visible locally and we've been constantly ever growing ever since.

We didn't know exactly what SEO meant and it took us some time to understand that results can be seen in time, but we trusted them and they did a fantastic job. Now, we have great ranks for the selected keywords, as well as new patients coming from both SEO and Google Ads.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

We were updated daily about the status of the project and it was delivered on time. The initial estimates were extremely specific and they really delivered as expected.

We received reports and updates via email, but we also talked a lot on the phone, especially during the first phase of our collaboration. In time, we agreed to a monthly reporting for marketing and SEO, as well as for website performance or other technical updates required.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

They keep you updated with everything and they also provide a lot of recommendations for your project. They don't only deliver, they are also there to help you any time you may have questions. They are extremely friendly and great professionals. Also, from project management and reporting standpoint, they are really oriented to help you understand both the 'what' and 'why'.

We've been working with them for a long time now and we've always been happy with everything they do. I don't believe they should change anything, they are already doing a great job.

They built a custom CRM platform. It manages not only customer relationships but also our brokers. It helps track and maintain our new services and works as the database for the website. 
Their team also rebuilt our website, handling both front- and backend development. After creating a pleasant user experience, they launched the product.
They currently maintain and update the CRM and website, as well as advise us on technology for new innovations. At this point, we're also partnering with them on an extensive development project.

What is the team composition?

We have two main points of contact, one for business issues and the other for technical issues. I’m not sure how many people work on the team; there are front- and backend developers, but we don’t have direct contact.

They were with the company when I joined. Our company reached out to them because of the good reputation they have in the real estate sector, for development, and for CRM systems.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

They did a great job of developing the website for strong SEO. We're also very pleased with the functionality of the CRM system. They’ve proven their expertise for many years now.

How did Flowmatters perform from a project management standpoint?

The CEO of our company meets regularly with their CEO. There are also regular meetings for overviewing costs, hours billed, as well as project meetings and technical meetings. We use Figma and other software to manage the technical side of projects.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They have a skilled team with good people skills. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Their expertise seems to be concentrated in a few key people, so it would be good if they trained more people on in-depth subjects. Sometimes we feel delayed if we need to wait on those certain people.

Make your business requirements clear. There are many benefits to thinking long-term.

Flowmatters did a discovery phase, provided the solution, and did the implementation of our product. They developed our WordPress site from scratch. We also did the design in-house, but they were part of the process by providing feedback and guidance around implementing best practices.

We did an integration with Google Analytics, and the team managed our SEO. We also had an in-house custom integration with the CRM system, which they rebuilt for our new website.

I’ve worked with many contracted developers throughout the world. I collaborate with them as a web development term. We have both fixed and long-term projects.

What was the scope of their involvement?

In the past, I was handling web development for myself. My business has grown significantly, so I needed a larger team on my side. They’ve since become my biggest contracted developer. When we undertake development projects, they typically work in PHP and JavaScript frameworks such as React and Angular. On the frontend, they’re focusing on HTML and CSS. On the backend, they work with Node.js and database work with MySQL and MariaDB. 

They also work with e-commerce platforms and API integration. Within that, there’s been Shopify, WordPress, and Drupal work. We’ve completed between 30–40 projects together over the course of our relationship.  

What is the team composition?

I have one main point of contact there and two additional project managers who coordinate with the team. They’re responsible for providing me with daily project updates. While I don’t have direct contact with developers, I believe there are about 5–6 on each of our projects.

I couldn’t be happier with the quality of service they provide. Whenever issues pop up, they’re always accommodating in correcting it on their end. Clients often praise the products, and I plan to continue working with them for many years.

Their daily responsiveness has really helped to move the project forward. I speak with them on a daily basis over Skype. It’s rare for contracted developers to get the level of attention to detail that they provide to us. We’re able to meet deadlines easily through their daily updates. That also keeps me in the loop.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

The genuine quality of their leadership team has been a game-changer. They’re polite, courteous, and professional. I feel a very strong connection with them on a personal level. They’re accommodating and great communicators. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Sometimes, they’re too cautious about projects. I understand that they don’t want to commit to something that they won’t be able to do, but sometimes it may help if they just went for it on a project. It would also be nice for them to continue to expand their technology capabilities further. For instance, it would be helpful to me if they could work with ASP.NET.
