We had serious trouble getting developers to work with us because of the high market demand. The flock helped us with this aspect by offering developers on demand and as we needed them, making the service adjustable to our changing needs.

One of the main deciding factors was the adaptability to change the team as the business developed. The second factor is that we can make the developers an offer once a certain time has passed so they can come and work with us in the project.

They are designing an exchange mobile app for Android and IOS with all it's features to be successful. They understand the final product and are working hard to develop it in the best way possible. The level of customization achieved with the flock is amazing as you can add or remove developers as you need while the project grows. A key aspect of the platform is the newsfeed with a livescore of the ongoing matches which is not easy to achieve.

there are 4 people currently working with us, 1 project manager and 3 developers: 1 Sr back end, 1 Sr architect and 1 Sr front end.

The project is still in an early phase but the general feedback is that the people involved in the project work good and achieve what is asked from them.

We have daily meetings that help the general organization. We also had a kickoff meeting where we outlined the entire project in jira to have a good overview of the tasks that had to be achieved.

The adaptability of the team dedicated to the project. We had several setbacks where we changed the teams specifications and this was never an issue. We got anything we asked for.

I’m the QA and HR manager at a travel agency called Tower Travel.

We needed a software platform that would allow us to manage our large number of clients more efficiently.

The Flock provides us with custom development services. In the beginning, we provided them with some documentation, which was used to finalize the project requirements and budget. We also worked with a design agency, so the ideation process was a shared task. After that, their team started developing the B2B platform; they were in charge of front- and backend development efforts. They work with different coding languages, such as Java and React, and will handle maintenance support.

We work with 12 engineers from their side, as well as a technical lead, a project manager, and a DevOps specialist.

We have meetings every two weeks, during which we review the progress of the project, including everything that’s been achieved in that span. We also conduct tests and check for improvements.

We communicate using email and WhatsApp. We use Jira as our project management tool.

We’re impressed with The Flock’s flexibility — they can scale up or down their team depending on the needs of a specific project. Also, they’re good at planning, providing helpful feedback, and delivering on time.

People came across ready to work. We needed to interview them and get the last call in their validation. The Flock stayed beside us, monitoring everything that was happening.

The Flock had an Engagement Manager who was in touch with us communicating updates and asking for constant feedback, while also keeping in contact with each of the developers for checking their health.

How quickly they moved was really one thing to point out. We got candidates for each position in less than a week. Definitely, something to repeat.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Yes! Their platform was still not fully released so we did some things manually. I look forward to having the experience once again and through the platform!
