Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO of ThePhone.biz. We provide call accounting and telephone management services to resellers and end users worldwide. Based on the vast quantities of user data we collect and process, we create and deliver thousands of meaningful reports every day.

For what projects/services did your company hire FlexSolution?

We hired FlexSolution to create a UI for an unlimited number of individual users, each with unique profiles.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted the UI to maintain metadata, ensure data security, and to enable users to create and receive reports based on their unique profiles. It also needed to receive a host of reports and Business Intelligence dashboards automatically.

How did you select this vendor?

We selected FlexSolution based on trial and error. We hire vendors based on experience and qualifications, give them a job to do, and see if they succeed. After two other companies we tried before both failed, FlexSolution delivered.

Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.

Using Alfresco as the underlying technology, FlexSolution customized and maintained the UI. They are experts with Alfresco and Java. They listened to our problems attentively and offered creative, low cost, and simple solutions.

What was the team composition?

I’m not aware of the team composition, but FlexSolution was reliable and delivered at an appropriate cost. 

Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?

A development project is never truly finished since there are always new ideas and improvements to make. Thanks to FlexSolution, we have an impressive UI that’s much more powerful than those of our competitors. They produced our deliverable at a very reasonable cost.

How was project management arranged and how effective was it?

After we provided FlexSolution with detailed specifications, they responded with a comprehensive project plan. Upon implementation, the product they created has proved to work properly. 

What did you find most impressive about this company?

FlexSolution is a part of our team, and I’m happy with them. I genuinely believe they act with our best interests in mind. We plan to continue working together well into the future.

They communicate clearly and concisely via email and their internal ticketing application. Whenever we have a problem or need clarification, we quickly reach resolutions, typically without the need for phone calls. I’m impressed with their reliability and responsiveness.

FlexSolution has always been there when I need them. I've never had to listen to excuses because they get the work done, often before the promised deadline. The quality of their work is first class. They’ve always charged us for a reasonable number of hours. I've never felt we were paying too high of a price for the value. They have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and are eager to arrive at the best solution.

Are there any areas for improvement?

FlexSolution is easy to work with. I send them an email if I ever think of areas that need improvement, they respond, and we resolve the issue at hand.  

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the founder and product architect of Cloud Square. Our company develops products used to map and understand how data is consumed across enterprises.

For what projects/services did your company hire FlexSolution?

We were looking for an expert to implement workflow functionality in our products.

What were your goals for this project?

Our goal was to have low overhead for code integration tasks. We wanted to have an offshore partner that can deliver continuous code builds and integrations.

How did you select this vendor?

Initially, we hired a few vendors for different deliverables, but many of them did not work out. We liked the FlexSolution team because they delivered the code on time, within the budget, and at a higher level of quality.

Describe the project in detail.

Initially, we awarded FlexSolution with a short contract. We liked the way they handled the entire delivery, so we expanded their scope of work. FlexSolution has led an excellent team that does most of our development and build activities, including complex integration requirements. Our product requires many third-party integrations, which added complexity in managing the project as well as risk. We wanted to implement workflow functionality for each component in multiple modules.

What was the team composition?

Initially, we worked with FlexSolution’s architect for workflow tasks. Since then, the team has expanded to include developers and designers who are skilled in UNIX, Java, and Vaadin. We’ve also worked with people who handle the database and web server.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We are quite happy with the FlexSolution team and their performance. They have helped us reach our development goals quickly and successfully launch our product. They always meet our expectations and sometimes even exceed them.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

FlexSolution has set up a communication platform to share daily updates. We have constant communication, which allows us to make quick changes that are not discussed in advance. Although the team is offshore, the team is supportive and adjusts to our schedules. They handle pressure well and meet deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

We were surprised by the way they’ve scaled up and down to meet our demands. We like their deliverables, communication, timely delivery.

I did not notice any need for improvement.
