The Insurance Experiments
The Association of British Insurers wanted a unique online campaign that wasn't just another traditional, bland and boring corporate insurance project.
The campaign needed to target people that had no interest in insurance, and had to be tricked into learning about it! Given that we would be competing for attention with comedy cat videos and lists of 59-things you never knew about avocado, we needed to create a hook that wouldn't let go.
We dreamed up 'The Insurance Experiments', a crack team of insurance experts, willing to blow things up in the name of science.
We created a dynamic and interactive website, featuring an array of short and punchy animations illustrating individual points of insurance. To keep our audience interested, we pulled out all the stops. The scientists get their hands' on radioactive 'science' goo, meteor simulators, time-travelling cars and a whole host of other curious testing equipment.
The simple, silly, and often clumsy situations encouraged the audience into wanting to watch more and more (and learning as they did!).
The project was hugely well-received, and we were later commissioned to create more wacky experiments to expand upon the project.

The stylised illustration showcases a mixture of basic shapes, geometric patterns and intricate line art that form suggestive Adidas inspired elements combined within the details of the popular and iconic Star Wars' character and objects.
Featured in this series are; The Galactic Empire's Stormtrooper, AT-AT Walker, Boba Fett and the Millenium Falcon.

XOCOLA Organic Chocolate
Born from the desire to create the simplest and purest “bean–to–bar” confectionery, Xocola is one of only a handful of micro-batch makers of premium and fair trade chocolates.
The challenge was to design an identity that visually encapsulated the essence of the brand and product that positions them in a premium space by utilizing a strong, simple, clean, tasteful and well-thought out design that maintained a healthy balance of functionality, versatility and visual impact.
The decision early on was to use a clean, simple and pretty straightforward serif wordmark as the pointy termination of the serif hints at the sharp edges of the chocolate bar while a bold yellow is used as an accent colour, lending a bright contrast to the deep-brown chocolate bar, adding a playful pop of colour to the black and white design.
The stylised illustration takes its cue from the shape of the cacao fruit and its leaves; keeping it organic than geometric with fluid lines for a softer impression when combined with the yellow "splatter" that takes its cue from the irregular shapes of the broken cacao nibs and shards.
The result is a strong, bold, and modern brand that will easily catch your eye.

The Tea Circle
The Tea Circle is a unique way of creating personalized bespoke tea blends. Using their custom online 'Tea Creator', you can select from a vast selection of the finest ingredients — from teas, fruits, flowers, nuts and spices to create the exact blend of ingredients you wish to drink. The customer can name it their favourite title and the tea is then sent in a beautiful, bespoke gift box featuring a unique Tea Circle on top, making it a perfect, personal gift for loved ones.
The challenge was to create an aesthetically pleasing identity that reflects the brand's quality and bespoke concept that helps realise the brand and bring the game-changing product to the market.
Since The Tea Circle aims to be different among other tea brands, the approach was centred on a strong, clean and modern look, focusing on personalisation with a sophisticated design, the identity system is colourful and vibrant, clean and not busy.
We developed branding, packaging, marketing and an e-commerce website. From the get-go, we wanted to create a lifestyle brand, a tea range that grabbed attention by itself. We chose to create a series colour palette across the range as well as different packaging for the sizes.

Gelato Americano
Gelato Americano is a London based ice cream start-up striving to offer the Italian gelato quality with the indulgence of American ice cream.
Looking to launch its brand to a number of supermarkets by summer 2020, Gelato Americano wants to create a solid branding identity represented through packaging, logo and website design.
Targeting supermarkets such as Whole Food, Ocado or Waitrose and appealing to final customers through the brand personality and packaging was the main goal of the project.

The Bellevue Residences
The challenge called for an encompassing logo that would stretch across sub-logos for different facilities of the tower to retain consistency and to give a visual voice to the name and create a brand as a signature expression — an identity that would show the brand's timeless personality, arriving at something that is simple and elegant and would reflect luxury.
The serif typeface was chosen for the logotype for its easy readability, it is classic but not old fashioned or ponderous. Playing on an "all-under-one-roof" theme and to answer the challenge of the brief, the sub-logos form clever, simple icons that depict the different amenities, derived from cropping and rotating the letter "B" of the main logo.
We carried out a warm, earthy and contemporary aesthetic throughout the brand by using soft muted earth tones, and a subdued gold and brass colour scheme to help convey a refined, luxurious quality without appearing excessive.
The result is a strong, modern brand that breathes quiet luxury with authority and style.

Bradford Comico
Bradford Comico is a multi-genre entertainment convention held annually in conjunction with the Bradford Literature Festival.
The challenge was to create a complete brand identity system that was aesthetically exciting.
The logo design had to be versatile in many uses, well-thought out to be able to work with various colour combinations as well as various patterns which easily helps to expand the brand system, if required. It should convey the energy and enthusiasm of the event while still showcasing the pop-culture influence throughout the identity.
Speech bubbles, used most commonly in comic books and manga, are used as the logo frame. Because they connote communication, they perfectly convey what a convention is — a social gathering of like-minded individuals to discuss thoughts, voice opinions and express ideas.
Patterns representing the 3 aspects of the event are used interchangeably. A "Halftone" pattern for vintage and pop (superheroes and comic books), "Sunburst" pattern for the "Land-of the Rising Sun" (Asian pop-culture) and a "Cloud Explosion" pattern (dark concept and themed graphic novels).
Coupling everything with a loud and bright colour scheme, the result is a brand that's adaptive, versatile and exciting

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the head of marketing for Interprefy, a B2B technology provider for multilingual conferences and events.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fishfinger Creative Agency?
We were looking for someone to refresh our brand.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Fishfinger Creative Agency provided us with branding and graphic design services to come up with an identity that best represents our company.
We started with a discovery phase to shape who we are and what we want to achieve in terms of the basic framework, visual language, tone of voice, and a range of design services such as logo design, color palettes, and other graphic elements.
Moreover, we presented them with documentation and assets to give them insight into the current state of our company, and basically laid out the groundwork of what we’ve done internally.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a total of three people, including the founder and two project managers.
How did you come to work with Fishfinger Creative Agency?
We evaluated a number of branding agencies and decided to hire Fishfinger Creative Agency because we thought they were a great cultural match for us.
They immediately understood our process, demonstrated a great amount of empathy, and presented us with an impressive portfolio.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $20,000 on this project
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from August 2021–February 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We presented the work of Fishfinger Creative to our board of investors, and they were really impressed and had nothing but positive feedback on their deliverables.
How did Fishfinger Creative Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
They were great from a project management perspective, and they always delivered high-quality work on time.
We typically communicated through video conferences and email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were impressed with their service-driven approach to the project. They were also very open to adjusting to the way we wanted to work just so they can meet our expectations.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There’s nothing they need to improve on or do differently.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
If you’re looking for a small specialized agency for branding at a fairly reasonable price range, then you’re in good hands with Fishfinger Creative.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the founder of STOCKED, an innovative frozen food company that freezes tasty food into handy little blocks
For what projects/services did your company hire Fishfinger Creative Agency?
We hired Fishfinger firstly to design our packaging. Previously in cardboard off-the-shelf chicken boxes, we wanted a revamp. We wanted our packaging to:
- blow people away and show them that our product is premium
- be completely distinctive
- get across the fun and energy our brand has
- be a very high functioning, useful piece of packaging for the user
- have lots of little surprises
Off the back of this we were so impressed that we had them take on our delivery packaging and website design to apply the greatness throughout
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found Fishfinger through The Food Hub, a group for food entrepreneurs. We spoke to 10 different agencies but Fishfinger immediately stood out. Their own brand had the same energy we wanted and they immediately got our brand and what we wanted to achieve without us even telling them. And they were reasonably priced compared to their competition!
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
We had a series of virtual meetings to further understand our requirements for the packaging. Next we were shown a few different concepts and we said what we liked/didn't like about each. This was repeated multiple times until we reached our final design. They were very clear with what they needed from us and were very responsive when we had questions.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Our main points of contact were John and Kimmy on the packaging and then Hala and Kimmy on the website.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We have had ridiculous feedback on our packaging with some customers saying it is the best they have ever seen. Our website too has been unanimously well received. Everything we wanted as an outcome from the project was achieved.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow for the packaging was extremely smooth and efficient. In all honestly it fell a bit behind for the website for a period but we felt engaged again at the end of the process.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Their understanding of our needs and our product. Kimmy especially just got it so it felt like it needed very little explaining. The quality of their illustrations are fantastic and has given us a really distinctive look and feel.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The only thing was a lapse of timelines for the websites which led to a serious delay but Kimmy came to the rescue again!

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of a company called Tyde, an online booking platform.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fishfinger Creative Agency?
We hired them for branding support since we were a new company.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They provided full-service branding support. This included creating branding guidelines, a logo, typography, and colors. We came into the project with some deliverables in mind and they factored all of those into their work.
What is the team composition?
I worked with Richard (CEO), a designer who served as our main liaison, and one other person.
How did you come to work with Fishfinger Creative Agency?
We found them on Clutch and decided to use their services.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent just under £15,000 (approximately $19,400 USD)
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from June–August 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The work was brilliant. Their proposal came through very timely and was really well presented. Their team was really mindful of what we wanted to achieve and always gave us lots of different options. The work never lacked in creativity or effort, we could tell a lot of work went into everything they put forward. We were really happy with their services.
How did Fishfinger Creative Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
They hit every deadline that they set; when they said they were going to have something to us by a certain date, it was on time. Sometimes work was even delivered earlier.
They were very clear and communicative over email, giving us thorough and engaging responses. If we needed to discuss something more in-depth, we’d have a couple of calls but we mostly used email.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their overall branding work and decorative elements were great. The colors and typography were absolutely spot on.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing at all.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Definitely reach out to them. They’re incredibly responsive, really creative, and full of good ideas.

Web Redesign & Branding for Sample Sale Venue

Please describe your company and your position there.
Partner at the Music Room Mayfair, a Sample Sale Venue and Management Company in London that holds Sample Sales for many of the world's Global Fashion Houses.
For what projects/services did your company hire Fishfinger Creative Agency?
We hired Fishfinger for our website redesign, a new Ecommerce platform design, and the branding of digital marketing materials.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted a complete rebranding of our business and all marketing materials, including our website, newsletters, logo, and social media presence. We also launched our business online this year, and chose Fishfinger to do the design of the ecommerce platform which is linked to our main website.
How did you select this vendor?
We knew of Fishfinger through previous clients, and were encouraged to meet with them when we decided to re-brand and expand. It was clear when we met them that they were perfect for the job - they had a great eye for design, were small enough to be personal, but had a breadth of experience across their team that we found helpful.
Describe the project in detail.
The rebranding and redesign of our online presence started with conversation about our aims and requirements. Fishfinger began to send over moodboards of inspiration to narrow down our design tastes, then sent over a final selection of proposals for us to consider. The proposals were beautifully designed, and we alighted upon one in particular. From then on it was a quick process to extend the chosen design across the rest of the website pages and finalise the project.
After this was complete, we decided to launch the business online via the creation of an ecommerce website upon which we could host events. This was designed by Fishfinger echoing the design of the main website. Around this time we also decided to rebrand our newsletters and other marketing materials and asked Fishfinger to lead this.
What was the team composition?
We worked with Richard, the CEO, and Hala, a principal designer at the agency. The team was great, and worked really hard to get us the designs we needed in the timeframe we needed.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our bookings increased substantially after we rebranded our main website - we were full up the following season. We received a lot of positive feedback from our clients and customers about the redesign of the logo and marketing materials which allowed us to grow our database and gain more bookings.
The design of the ecommerce site was pivotal in persuading Brands to contract with us, and the feedback has been nothing but positive. The newsletter brand has received a lot of great feedback from our database re the design and clarity of the information. All in all, we are really happy!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective - using email and phone we kept in regular contact and were always able to pick up the phone to discuss when we wanted.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
A safe pair of hands. The design was consistently outstanding and the team was enjoyable to work with.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, we are very happy with the quality and speed of the work.

Website Design for Antique Market
"The team is incredibly hard-working, and no change or idea is too much or inconvenient for them."
the reviewer
the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
Grays Antique Market is an antique market in Mayfair, Central London, with 80 small business tenants specialising in art, jewellery and antiques. I am part of the management team that oversees the business, which I have done for the past 6 years.
This involves liaising with the day to day management team, the marketing department, third party consultants, as well as working on the medium-long term strategy for business growth.
For what projects/services did your company hire Fishfinger Creative Agency?
Our business website has been completely out of date for some years, both in regards to functionality and aesthetics. We wanted to redesign the look and feel of the website, whilst also adding an e-commerce function which could be accessed by multiple users to upload items for sale.
We knew it was a big project, and we therefore looked for an established agency who were experienced with both design and tech, but were willing to focus on our project rather than pass it off to a "project manager".
What were your goals for this project?
- a beautiful, simple, clean aesthetic
- an easy back end functionality
- a thoughtful user experience that promoted browsing on the site
- a well build site that was a foundation for a strong SEO strategy
- a website that promoted the business by way of its design
How did you select this vendor?
We were recommended a number of creative agencies for web design and brand update, who we met with. Out of the five companies we met with, Fishfinger were the clear winner.
Their previous clients list spoke volumes, however it was the team who met with us that persuaded us immediately of their ability, work ethic and eye for detail that made them the front runner.
Whilst other agencies gave us their standard marketing materials, or even a full website design as part of the pitch, Fishfinger's approach was personal. Our meeting with them was largely a "get to know you exercise", which meant the ideas they put forward subsequently were precisely tailored to our brief. It also meant that we got to know them, and what motivated and resonated with them.
As a result it was clear that we would be able to establish a strong working relationship with Fishfinger, and we therefore chose them as the design agency we wanted to work with.
Describe the project in detail.
The project started with Fishfinger sending a variety of inspiration designs for our comment. We sent back and forth various websites and design elements that we liked in order to hone in on a final look and feel for the website.
From that exercise, Fishfinger then generated a number of design options for our consideration. One of these immediately felt right, and Fishfinger designed further pages on the site to extend those visuals across the whole project.
It was a fairly rapid exercise that took place over 2-3 weeks, largely because Fishfinger had taken the time to really understand what we were looking for.
What was the team composition?
A small team was involved from Fishfinger's side, which was very helpful. At previous agencies we have worked with, we have been assigned a project manager who is a world away from the head of the company that pitched to us.
This was not the case at all with Fishfinger. We worked with the CEO and a senior designer to build the vision. It was very helpful that the CEO remained involved from start to finish, and the designer did not change throughout the process.
The team at Fishfinger also collaborated with the website development agency who were assigned to build the site, which was a very successful pairing.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The design of the website has generated huge excitement amongst the 80+ small businesses that form part of the project. The design has a professional yet luxurious feel that has been popular with staff, businesses and customers who have seen it.
The best part of the design is ultimately that Fishfinger were able to take our brief, and examples of design we liked, and come up with a final website design which was better than anything we could have come up with. Their focus on speed and communication paid dividends in getting the new website designed and built as rapidly as we required.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The workflow was well structured and easy from both sides. During the initial design phase, at our request we did weekly in-person meetings, with follow up emails.
New design iterations were sent by email, and phone calls set to discuss that week. They were very flexible in adapting to our communication style and requirements - last minute meetings and changes were never a problem.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
- Communication. Fishfinger had a strong focus on understanding our company, and an equally strong focus on making sure that we understood them and what they were doing. This was so important in an area that we did not have expertise in, and in an industry where technological ignorance is often taken advantage of. Fishfinger wanted us to understand what was important and why, and they were able to explain that in a non- technical way that we could absorb and react to as a business.
- The Team. Fishfinger is made up of some very talented, hard working, and genuinely nice people. As a company, we trusted them and they did not disappoint. It was a real pleasure to work with them.
- The Work Ethic. The team is incredibly hard-working, and no change or idea is too much or inconvenient for them.
- The Design. The design ability of the team is a strong asset for the company, and combined with the technical ability of the company it is a rare find.
Are there any areas for improvement?
In all honesty, we do not feel there were any significant areas for improvement. We had no complaints, but very high standards, and these were met and more.

Web Design & Animation for Trade Association Group
“Just in terms of pure concepts and content creation, they were fantastic.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m now a project manager of a trade association group. However, during this engagement, I was the head of communications.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fishfinger Creative Agency?
We wanted to create a campaign that’d communicate some simple messages about the way insurance works to a general audience. Our team wanted to create some engaging digital content that looked and felt different from what had gone before it. Consequently, we engaged Fishfinger in order to create that content.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Fishfinger created a new website and a set of 15–20-second digital animations using creative concepts to communicate things like home insurance, motor insurance, and travel insurance.
We gave Fishfinger a lot of creative freedom, and they created the concepts. They came up with the idea we eventually chose. The animations were created to live on the website, and we also share them on social media. Fishfinger was responsible for creating and hosting the content, in addition to making sure the content was right.
Our team helped with the accuracy and wording of the animations because obviously, their understanding of our industry isn’t as strong as ours. However, all the creative elements of it were theirs, and we worked collaboratively on it.
They also created a website from scratch and it was separate from our existing one. It goes alongside our website; however, we wanted a completely different look and feel for this campaign. Our corporate-looking website wasn’t the right fit for the objectives we wanted to achieve.
What is the team composition?
We worked with two people regularly, and they brought in others when needed. Richard (Director) was the main point of contact for me and he even came and saw us in-person. He’s an engaging guy.
How did you come to work with Fishfinger Creative Agency?
I don’t remember exactly how we found Fishfinger, but it might’ve been one of my team members who discovered them. We were talking to various agencies, and they were the ones that came in and impressed us the most.
How much have you invested in them?
We’ve spent about £200,000 (approximately $247,000 USD) in total, but not all of that money went to Fishfinger because we had a buying agency as well.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement started around January 2017 and is ongoing. However, relations are currently more ad-hoc than systematic. The work is based on when we have the capacity to think about it and the resources to pay.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
An analysis of the social media campaign found that it really resonated with individuals between the ages of 18–45. We got a good reach and hit all of our targets for the campaign. What’s more, we also received positive feedback from our members as well as from regulators, MPs, and so on. The positive feedback wasn’t just from the hard evaluation and metrics, but we also received it from stakeholders.
We initially wanted to test it with all demographics to see how it went down, and then later we targeted towards that group. It was an important group for us to reach. Just with the way we ran the campaign, we didn’t have an initial age demographic and we learned as we went along.
How did Fishfinger Creative Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
Fishfinger delivered things on time and was very clear in the way they both pitched and priced the idea. Also, they stuck to the budget we agreed upon. We have no complaints at all.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The thing that most impressed me was their creativity. Fishfinger created an idea that was innovative and something we wouldn’t have thought of; and then they executed it really well. Just in terms of pure concepts and content creation, they were fantastic.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I wouldn’t consider this criticism at all because it isn’t really what they do but a vital part of campaigns is how the content reaches the audiences. This isn’t something that Fishfinger has an offering in because it’s not their technical expertise. What they did for us was more focused on the creative aspects of the campaign. They were good at juicing the ideas, and it was our role to then work out how to get those ideas in front of people.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
My advice would be to go to them if you want something creative and unusual. Don’t go to them if you want some humdrum corporate job. They’re great at doing things that’ll surprise you.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the finance director of Delphi Food Products, a food manufacturer. We make dips, salads, olives, and tapas products and distribute them throughout the EMEA region.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fishfinger Creative Agency?
Our packaging at the time didn’t reflect the brand values of our business. We needed to modernize the brand while reflecting our family business nature. We also wanted to create a website or digital platform that tied with our brand and that we could use as an effective B2B marketing tool.
What was the scope of their involvement?
It was a 360-degree offering, including branding, packaging, and a digital platform. Fishfinger completely scrapped the old website and built a brand-new one. As far as our budget extended, it included digital marketing. For us, it was mainly SEO, focused on Google searches. We’re a B2B business, so we generally don’t go directly to the customer. Our marketing was more restricted on that side.
We gave Fishfinger a fair amount of leeway on the creative process. We set objectives as to what we wanted the brand and our website to reflect, and we also set up budgetary limitations. We had initial brainstorming sessions with Fishfinger, whereby we tackled all the objectives we wanted to meet in this process. There was a fair amount of back-and-forth until we settled on a strategy and brand strategy that we were happy with.
What is the team composition?
There were three people from Fishfinger working on our project. Most of the people inside our organization were engaged at a certain level.
How much have you invested with them?
The project was about £30,000–£35,000 (approximately $37,000–$43,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
I believe the project started in December 2018. The website was already done by January or February 2019, and most of the packaging designs arrived in March the same year. We went live with the new packaging around May 2019. We’ve been working with Fishfinger on an ongoing basis since then.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We are seeing a year-on-year uplift in sales volume of 20%–30%. I’m imagining that the branding has contributed a fair amount to that.
We weren’t necessarily concerned over website visits and whether they convert into more sales. It was important to have a strong, robust website because the initial communication with supermarket buyers and other businesses would be through the website. Having a very good B2B-geared website has helped with engagement.
We’re pleased with the look of the site. It was quite a change to what we were doing initially. I think that everyone’s pleased with the branding as well. We’re constantly doing work on it, and I think that we all view it as necessary.
How did Fishfinger Creative Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
They are very responsive and available. We know when we can get a hold of them, and they are quite flexible. Some of us here can tend to be a bit pushy: when we want answers, we want them now, and Fishfinger is quite reactive to that.
It’s also well-managed. They hit their deadlines and objectives, and they manage us quite well. If they think there’ll be some slippage, we know about it well in advance. They don’t really make promises they can’t keep.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I think that their ideas are quite creative, which is pretty much what we’re looking for from a creative agency. Fishfinger has been quite brave in their choices. It hasn’t been cookie-cutter at all, considering that we were the first food manufacturer they worked with. I think they’ve found the project enjoyable. Any truly creative person will relish the challenge of doing something different.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I think there’s a fair amount of reliance placed on Richard (Director), who I believe generates quite a lot of the creative content. Other than that, they’re quite a good agency. They’d probably struggle to cater for a very large corporation, but for an organization up to the £100 million mark, I think they’d be really good.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Be straightforward, bold, and concise in presenting whatever the objectives are, and trust them a bit in the creative process. Fishfinger’s ideas can be a bit out there, but I think they’re good.

We work in a fun an interactive environment and wanted our Health & Safety E-learning videos to carry on that same trend to separate them from the normal ‘off the shelf’ style that you can purchase.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted to turn the normal H&S training that is required for employees into a fun and interactive E-learning video that matched our creative workplaces
How did you select this vendor?
Fish Finger was chosen as there presentation and style really suited our business approach to the workplace and they where able to bring very creative and unique ideas to the project. They took on-board what we where after and turned it into reality
Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.
Once selected we provided a basic script of the key information that was required and any key points/visual that we wanted to be included. Fish Finger then turned this into a visual script. Fish Finger provided different voice over examples for us to listen to and then hosted the voiceover sessions whilst we where apart of this session Fish Finger ran them and really took control to ensure the delivery of the message was inline to the creative E-learning Fish Finger set up the appropriate meetings to discuss their progress and share their approach and ideas, this allowed each step of the process to be checked and vetted to ensure it was in-line with our ideas whilst allowing Fish Finger to be creative and take the idea to the next level
What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?
Fish Finger provided one key account manager who was our main point of contact throughout the process to ensure consistency across the project, it also allowed them to spend time with us and get to know the business, a team of animators worked on the project and through the account manager any edits where made
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The E-learning videos where well received and our employees appreciated a different approach towards the normal H&S E-learnings.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The process and set up of the E-learning creating was very simple, Fish Finger use easy to use narrative story boards and allow for each stage of the process to be captured. Regular updates where received and shared with the team
What did you find most impressive about this company?
They have a great ability to see beyond the basic requirement and want of the customer and come back with a brilliant and creative idea that can be explored and expanded on during the process as they are flexible and willing to ensure they meet the clients requirements, no job is to small they really care.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Haven’t come across anything during the time I have worked with them.

Logo & Packaging Design for Gelato Manufacturer
"Everything they created for us really stands out."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder of a gelato manufacturer and retailer.
What challenge were you trying to address with Fishfinger Creative Agency?
We had an old logo that needed to be refreshed. We also needed help with packaging design.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They did our logo design and packaging design. I wanted to get the vintage feel across, which the old logo did, but the new logo highlighted the gelato part as well.
What is the team composition?
I met with three people. In the end, I communicated with the main person responsible for the logo design.
How did you come to work with Fishfinger Creative Agency?
Originally, I found them through a Google search. I initially approached them for web design. I didn’t think we’d work with them on the packaging and the logo. We didn’t end up using them for web design because it was too expensive. They do really high-end, high-tech work that was way out of our budget.
How much have you invested with them?
The total project cost was $13,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January-December 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
They did a good job. They understood what we were after. They picked up on the whole vibe of the old logo and refreshed it in a good way. They got the gist of it quickly. The packaging was spot on. It looks fantastic. I’m very impressed. It’d be hard to ask for a better job.
They would have finished earlier, but we took some time on our side. It allows me to launch and start selling my packaged products. They were 30% more expensive in terms of the packaging and the logo design compared to a similar firm with a whole lot of experience in food. We were their first or second food-related project. They’re on the expensive side.
How did Fishfinger Creative Agency perform from a project management standpoint?
I have no complaints. It went very smoothly. They would reply to emails within 2-3 days, which was quite good. I told them what flavors we would have and they took charge of everything else. We are planning to hire them again as we go forward.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The packaging is really impressive. They got the color combinations and designs on the packaging really well. Everything they created for us really stands out.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could be slightly less expensive, but it was a very good investment overall.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have a clear idea of what you want. If you’re clear, things move much easier.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a co-founder of a startup in the proptech space.
For what projects/services did your company hire Fishfinger Creative Agency?
We used Fishfinger for two design projects. Firstly we used them for a branding project, which included a logo, some animated illustrations and a website. Secondly, we used them for an app UX/UI design project, which included extensive screen designs, a clickable prototype and animation/microinteraction design.
What were your goals for this project?
We wanted a fun brand and app design, that didn't make us look and feel like other proptech companies, so that we could stand out.
How did you select this vendor?
We found Fishfinger online, contacted them and went to see them at their offices to discuss our branding project. We liked their design work and felt they understood what we were after, and that combined with their price point meant we were happy to move forward with them.
We started the UX/UI project a bit further down the line, but were keen to go with them for this too, after having worked with them on the branding for a while.
Describe the project in detail.
For both projects, we had multiple catch ups and discussions in person at their offices, via email and on the phone. The process for the branding project consisted of a mood board, and various concepts for the logo, colour scheme, illustration style and illustration content.
The process for the UX/UI project included wireframes and designed screens, with multiple iterations for each. Throughout the process for both projects, we found that Fishfinger had very useful suggestions and advice and were happy to work together with us to produce outputs that were to a high quality and that we were really happy with.
What was the team composition?
We had one person who was the main point of contact for the branding project and another person who was the main point of contact for the UX/UI project. We had interactions with a few other team members too throughout the process though, and our understanding is that our projects were worked on by multiple members of the Fishfinger team.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are still in the early stages of our startup and product launch, but we are really happy with the design work we have received!
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The team at Fishfinger was very good at engaging with us and responding to our feedback and questions throughout the projects, and we really enjoyed working with them.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We liked how Fishfinger came up with lots of interesting and fun ideas. They were very patient with us as we worked through different options and iterations.
Are there any areas for improvement?
It would have been great to finish the projects faster than we did, but the length of time it took was largely related to the number of iterations we went through with them, which they were happy to do for us.
The client's board of investors was highly pleased with the outputs that Fishfinger Creative Agency delivered. The team adhered to their timelines strictly, and internal stakeholders were particularly impressed with their flexibility and solutions-based approach.
