I’m a senior creative producer at a digital content agency.

What challenges were you trying to address with Filmapia India?

They assist with line production services for projects we have in Karnataka.

What was the scope of their involvement?

When we have projects in Karnataka, our core crew travels there from Mumbai. Filmapia India works collaboratively with our team to support our efforts. They do everything from coordinating our travel to and from the airport to transporting us to shooting locations. They work with us from pre-production through the end of filming. They primarily help with planning and logistics. 

What is the team composition?

I primarily work with Ben (Founder) and Ivy (Founder). 

How did you come to work with Filmapia India?

They were recommended to me. My first conversation with Ivy went well, and I felt like they would be able to help us with any issues that came up. 

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent around 4–7 lakhs so far. 

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with them in 2018, and our relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

One time, we had a very remote filming location. There were hardly any hotels there and very little internet access. I called Filmapia India, and they told me not to worry. They took care of everything. When we landed at the Bangalore airport, there was a car waiting for us. I didn’t have to stress about any of the logistics. Even with last-minute requests, they excelled at delivering what they could. 

How did Filmapia India perform from a project management standpoint?

They are very prompt. Even if there are delays, they let us know as soon as possible. They’re responsive. We mostly communicate with them through phone calls and emails. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

In India, many states speak different languages. It can be difficult to move around from one state to another because of potential language barriers. However, Filmapia India has team members in all the South Indian states, and they’re continuing to expand. I know I can rely on them. 

Are there any areas they could improve?

Ben and Ivy are great. Every once in a while, we’ve had trouble with some of the on-site contractors they hire. They could have a stronger interview process.

Be open about your budget, timelines, and requirements. Be 100% honest, and they’ll be able to help you.

Marketing Services Tongue is a marketing agency extending market activation support to various brands. I am one of the partners in the organisation.

For what projects/services did your company hire Filmapia India?

We have worked with Fimapia for couple of our projects for Brands like Bajaj; Mahindra. The projects we executed with Filmapia was rally and shoots at multiple locations in India.

What were your goals for this project?

Goals of the project was to run it smoothly without any glitches for 30 days and at 60 odd locations, not to forget without breaking any civil rules and regulations.

How did you select Filmapia India?

Filmapia was the one who helped us to execute the project flawlessly by procuring the permissions at each location within such a short span of time and exactly in the way desired by client. Not only that their on ground team was present from start till end to ensure that the things went on smooth.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

We wanted Filmapia team to procure permissions for us for Shoot and rally for the entire route, including multiple historical monuments of India.

What was the team composition?

We had around 5 people at each location from Filmapia team to monitor each and every thing.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Normally to procure permissions at the locations we wanted to shoot and ride through takes months time and we had just 1 week in hand. Thanks to Filmapia we could manage to get it in time. Also they are extremely meticulous and the database they had helped us to take decisions in advance.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

It was flawless and their team was extremely cordial and each one of them was masters of their own cities.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The best part about Filmapia is the clarity in their communications. You can totally rely on them. The project was extremely crucial for us and just in time we got to connect with Filmapia ( Benjamin) and the biggest challenge of our project (permission) was resolved. The team made sure that everything goes as planned.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Nothing that i could think off.

HUED is a video production studio based in Delhi, India. We combine creativity and practicality to tell stories and craft content in ways that are meaningful and impactful. I have been working as a Junior Producer with the sudip.

For what projects/services did your company hire Filmapia India?

Due to the pandemic, we hired Filmapia India to do our line production services from Bangalore. They provided us with local crew, equipment and gave us remote feedback for the team in Delhi.

What were your goals for this project?

To interview the MD of Kia for a car launch.

How did you select Filmapia India?

We got in touch with them after hearing good feedback from some of our local acquaintances.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail.

The video was an interview setup for the MD of Kia before the launch of their new car, Sonet. The team also provided us with some good B-roll shots, the directors had asked for.

What was your vendors' project management or feedback process?

The team was constantly available on calls, video calls, during rhe pre production and the production days.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Team Filmapia helped us provide the team we could work with easily. All the team members were following the safety protocols during the shoot process. We made late night meetings and the whole team was always available for every step and also provided their input for the process.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Due to the pandemic, the Delhi Team could not travel so Filmapia helped us provide feedback everytime during the shoot. The communication was always well.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

The team helped us during the most difficult times i.e. during the pandemic. They helped us with everything we needed before and during the shoot.

Are there any areas for improvement?

No, the team is working really well and I hope they continue to do the same.

I am a freelance photographer and worked on a small budget.

Research and logistics across for my photography project.

How did you select Filmapia India?

I found them using an internet search.

Describe the project in detail and what their cost structure looked like.

Two people worked on the project. Filmapia took care of the project communication service and take care of all practical arrangements. They billed per day and separately for transportation costs.

How would you describe/assess the quality of their work?

They handled the schedule on time and were kind and also impressed all of them I photographed, which is very important in this job.

What impressed you about their services?

I was able to trust them, and they helped me with everything we needed before and during the shoot.
