Web app for online conference
The COVID-19 pandemic has surprised everyone. Organizers of all kinds of mass events, conferences and events were also among the injured professions and industries. The particularity of their difficult situation was that many events had already been planned and had to be postponed, canceled or… carried out in a completely different formula.
The Studia na Horyzoncie Association boldly chose the third option - the conversion of several stationary conferences, held in various Polish cities, into a two-week session of meetings with speakers from all over Poland online. Over 600 students telling about selected fields of study, thousands of high school students, all the largest universities in Poland, and some also abroad - all combined within a dedicated online platform. Sounds great? Sure! If not for one short sentence closing the inquiry: "We have 3 weeks."
The project was successful, as evidenced by the recommendation we received from the client. The interest in the project and the number of meetings during the conference exceeded even the expectations of the organizers. At its peak, nearly 100 meetings were active at the same time! For us it was a lot of experience, and for high school students a lot of practical knowledge, useful in further personal development.

Please describe your company and your position there.
CoopTech Hub is the first center for platform cooperativism in Poland, powered by PLZ Coop. Our goal is to create a trust-based community through a digital restart of cooperativism. We act for global collaboration in different sectors and local application of best practices; we are a business and technological support for co-op and sustainable initiatives.
We offer tech products and services driven by the experience of an interdisciplinary team. Our offer is aimed for: local governments (especially municipalities), cultural institutions, schools, NGOs, individual citizens and business.
For what projects/services did your company hire FASTSITE, and what were your goals?
We are running a digital transformation project for the largest trade union confederation in Poland, OPZZ. A part of the project was to design a labor law assistant chatbot for both non-union and union members. We intended to build a dedicated website, a multi-lingual chatbot, and implement it across a couple of websites.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
Fastsite was recommended to us by an expert in the field of chatbots. They had multiple projects executed on the Tidio engine so we picked them for this single task, but upon learning they also handle graphics, UX, and web design, we chose Fastsiste for the entire sub-project.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had initial meetings to scope what we need in terms of legal documentation, what should be the design, and how to handle our needs with Tidio chatbot engine. Then Fastsite followed with workshops with union leaders and our team.
They executed rapidly, with easy-to-follow bug-fixing techniques (even for older union members). In the end, they delivered the chatbot with 3 language implementations and the website www.pracujgodnie.pl. The chatbot Nadzieja is very complex, so actually, it has many workarounds which not every Tidio user knows.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Around 4 people, both from Board and project managers.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
In 3 months we had 45,5 thousand people running the chatbot. The trade union implemented it on their main website as the default launching bot to drive engagement, although they were hesitant to change it at first.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We used shared drives, timeliness was OK, the emails were clear and professional. In general great.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Fastsite never acted as if what they do is magic. IT developers often try to play on time, or negotiate budgets because non-IT people know little about the insides of this work. These folks were professional and never tried to outsmart us. That's nice.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
In a small project its hard to tell.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m the owner of the Sales Consulting company, where I teach people to do better: Sales, Management, Recruitment.
For what projects/services did your company hire FASTSITE, and what were your goals?
I hired FASTSITE to create a complete website along with graphic identity elements such as key visual, branding & templates. FASTSITE also helped me integrate the website into the sales funnel.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
FASTSITE services were recommended to me by my colleague. I saw a few of their projects before we started working together. Especially important for me was to start the project with a UX workshop.
During the workshop, we carefully discussed my needs and ideas, which FASTSITE then turned into a ready solution for my website.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
Projected started with Inspirational Workshop aiming in creation of the logotype and complexed brand identity. Our findings were the training and consulting business relies heavily on interpersonal relationships, so a key challenge for us was to create the brand strategy with a human face.
The figure of a lion, is a very malleable motif that can represent many attitudes. I wanted my company's logotype to reflect the values that guide its work. Next stages were: UX workshop, wireframing and UX prototyping, UI design and custom webdevelopment.
Technologies used: WordPress (ACF), WooCommerce, PHP, CSS, HTML and JS. Website allows sales of trainings and consulting via ecommerce basket and automated payments. I also believe that we managed to achieve unique and effective result from the UX perspective.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were four people working directly with me: Adam (Project Manager and Co-Founder), Ignacy (UX Analyst and Co-Founder), Hubert (Designer) and Paulina (Wordpress Developer).
They were responsive, understanding, and highly engaged in our project. Also, even after they finished the project and it was live, they were a huge support for me, always being there to help me out if I needed it.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The cost of investing in a website returned to me after two weeks, and I met my quarterly goals after one month only. The overall result exceeded my expectations.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
The communication was very good, we used e-mails, phone and scheduled status meetings via Microsoft Teams. I know that the company uses Teamwork Projects to plan all the tasks.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Working with FASTSITE has been a very good personal relationship with Adam and Ignacy. I could see that they cared about making sure the product met my expectations and was a useful tool for me to run my business.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
There's nothing they needed to improve on.

Website Design for Gaming-Focused Online Training Firm
“FASTSITE understood our vision; their resources understood the project at a much deeper level.”

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of an online training platform that helps esports athletes go professional.
What challenge were you trying to address with FASTSITE?
We hired them to create our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Since we’d worked with another development company before FASTSITE, we already had some sketches of the new website. We showed them what we had and underwent a thorough onboarding process, allowing them to know everything about our vision and brand.
Speaking of vision, we wanted a user-friendly WordPress website for our coaching services while we hosted our online video courses. It was a platform that kept the attention of the gamers. To build such a platform we adopted a sleek design approach; we spent a lot of time in the design process to decide exactly what was suitable for the website.
Meanwhile, our launch plan was to provide training for one game to players and then add more games later. However, we found out that having just one game gave made the product look incomplete. As a result, we chose to step back until we were able to produce more content. That way, we and FASTSITE could deliver a complete product.
What is the team composition?
The team composition changed per project stage, through we met their entire team in the beginning. For instance, we met their designer at the start of the engagement; we met him again during the design phase.
How did you come to work with FASTSITE?
FASTSITE wasn’t our main choice at first because they were the cheapest and youngest company we checked. However, we hired them after they showed they understood our mission and knew the direction we wanted to pursue.
How much have you invested with them?
Our final investment was around $4,750.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from February 2022–May 2022.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website’s design was incredible. We had some issues with its functionality, but this wasn’t entirely FASTSITE’s fault. Our team simply came up with ideas that we thought would work out but didn’t. Their resources said they could finish the website quickly, but we weren’t worried about the speed since we may need to redo a lot of things — we were more concerned about the site’s quality. Nonetheless, the designs they created were perfect.
How did FASTSITE perform from a project management standpoint?
FASTSITE met deadlines, and we never felt they were going to be late on anything. As long as we were able to deliver the assets they needed, they worked on time. To communicate, we used Discord.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They worked quickly and their quality matched their speed — even though we received speedy services, the quality of work wasn’t compromised. Moreover, FASTSITE understood our vision; their resources understood the project at a much deeper level. Their whole team was full of gamers, so they related to what we wanted.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There was a bit of a language barrier, so some things needed to be repeated or clarified. However, once we overcame this, everything turned out all right.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Come to the project ready and provide FASTSITE with real-life examples of what you want to do. This will make their job easier.

Web Design for Video Ads Network

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm the Product Lead at VidWe - a video ads network working with the majority of Polish media houses and digital agencies.
For what projects/services did your company hire FASTSITE, and what were your goals?
We hired FASTSITE in order to develop a landing page promoting our summer offer and static banner creatives (to run autopromo banner campaign). In order to get throught the "online buzz", we wanted a non-standard set of creatives based on spacecats theme + a coherent landing page describing our promo.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
During the debriefing, we were genuinely surprised with FASTSITE enthusiasm - guys seemed more than happy about the opportunity of covering a non-standard project. We were also impressed by their detailed and competitive offer + quick deadline (we wanted the site to be implemented asap).
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The project started with an analysis phase in the form of a workshop. The product of this stage was a mockup of solutions, taking into account the specification of the target group, as well as defined business goals.
The next stage was graphic design, during which a detailed design was developed. The last phase of the project was the implementation of the landing page based on key web technologies.
At every stage of the project, we had access to mockups, graphic designs, and the development environment, which improved the exchange of feedback.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We worked with 3 people. Our main contact was Ignacy (he led the project), Hubert was responsible for graphic works, and Adam was more than helpful with his technical hints.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The campaign had a very narrow target group (digital media planners, media agencies employees), yet it generated 301 950 impressions on media-related websites, 1082 clicks (CTR: 0,36%) and some quality leads we later converted into closed deals. We also received a lot of direct messages (mail/fb/sms) with very positive feedback.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
First of all, FASTSITE provided us with a very detailed offer (it included cost breakdown, deadlines for each milestone, info regarding what should we prepare at each step). All workshops (LP content, creatives, UX) were held on Google Meet in a very friendly and motivating atmosphere.
We managed to finish the project before the deadline + FASTSITE gave us the opportunity to fix some details after the project was finished. Communication tools: emails, videocalls, figma.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Fast pace, flexibility, and professionalism. Not often you can find a company that offers a blend of those aspects. We truly enjoyed working on our space cats campaign with FASTSITE! :)
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
We were very happy about the cooperation and did not spot any faults.

Web App Development for Event Organizing Company

Please describe your company and your position there.
I'm a founder and CEO of Studia na Horyzoncie - Polish NGO that helps high school students choose their academical path. We have teams in 9 biggest cities in Poland.
For what projects/services did your company hire FASTSITE, and what were your goals?
As a NGO we focused on organizing conferences and events. When the COVID hit, we couldn't continue such work. We decided to move online and create a web app which would actually be a conference. We wanted to have universities representatives speaking about their degrees with high school students who sign up for such a conversation. What's more, we wanted all of it to happen on our platform, so we had to integrate with Zoom. The key factor was time. We decided to create such a platform in May and start it in June (since in July high school students in Poland choose their degree). Fastsite not only accepted the timeline, but worked over-hours to complete it (they are super engaged in each project they start).
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We've done a quick research and found a few candidates with whom we could work. Fastsite was our choice, since they had not only developers, but also UX designers of the highest quality. The project of the website that they created was the best. Apart from that, they agreed on the timeline from the very beginning which was crucial for us.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
They had to design the website, architecture of the app, integration with Zoom + whole backend (robust database with users and other records). All the work went smoothly, even despite the fact that integrating with Zoom is a difficult task.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
2 - Adam and Ignacy (co-founders of Fastsite) - they were responsive, understanding and engaged in what we do. Also, even after they finished the project and it was live, they were huge support for us, always being there to help us out if we needed it.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
This app was created within 2,5 weeks. In managed to serve over 20,000 people within the first 2 weeks without any problems. Users were satisfied with it + they were mentioning it's super intuitive to use.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
We were communicating mainly via Messenger + we had regular calls with Ignacy. All the time we knew what Fastsite team's working on, how are we pacing and what's the next step. They were flexible with incorporating minor changes to the app throughout the development process.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Responsivness, ownership (I feel like they would deliver the app even if they had to work one week straight with no breaks), design of the website
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Nope
