Abacus is a Healthcare Analytics platform that has raw data flowing in through a defined channels to their domain model, which makes them to come-up with proper analytics. Most of the Abacus platform scenarios have been handling manually and the business needed the digital transformation to happen for entire platform.

To begin with, from the Product Design standpoint, we wanted to standardise the whole experience through a proper design system that would make all the tools on the platform to be consistent in terms of look & feel and help users to be more productive.

Also, main areas of the Abacus business have been keenly understood and transformed their manual work into automated digital experiences that can drastically reduce their time spent in order to increase their productivity.

Team transformed Connector studio and Rule library experiences from completely manual to digital and created some of their business dashboards according to the goals of the business roles.

I believe F1Studios has been one of the main reasons for the success of the project. UX Architect from F1Studioz has helped us to plan & build Design System and Designing efficient experiences around Connector studio.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Since both of our teams were part of Scrum, the workflow between our teams was quite effective and collaborative.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

F1Studios have immense knowledge in the subject and further most impressive part of the project is UX Architect who has worked on the project has been pretty quick in getting the results, this is exactly what exceeds the expectations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I do not think have there are any areas for improvement as they did great in all aspects.

We have been working with F1Studioz to redesign our product. They also redesigned our website.

We knew about them because we worked from the same incubation space a few years ago.

Their team worked with us to understand our product, our target users and the problems we were trying to solve. They understood the user journey and issue with our existing UI before they started redesigning the product. We've been working with them on an on-going basis to redesign our product. They created a design language for us which has helped us make things more consistent.

Our team worked directly with Suresh (User Experience Manager) and his team. It has been a very good experience working with him. He is patient, knowledgeable and very professional.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We've been able to launch our new website and are moving over our product to the new UI as well. We have received good feedback from our users on the changes made so far.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

We have a very smooth working relationship with the F1 team. They are are very responsive and great to work with.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Suresh and his team are very professional and keep us up to date on things. They always try to understand your product before making any recommendations.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We only had one experience in the beginning where the expectations set by the F1 team were incorrect and caused a project to be delayed by a few weeks. It was something that was out of their area of expertise and they were also short on resources but the same was not communicated to us. That has not happened again and we have been very happy with their work.

We are a software design and consulting company and I am a Product Manager for media project management applications.

UI and UX design for one module within the application we were designing.

We had worked many times earlier with F1Studioz and we love their service and support.

The engagement started with me briefing our expectations after which they came back with a draft design within a weeks time. They demonstrated the UX and we had given feedback for modifications. The final design was again ready within the next week. F1Studioz demonstrated the final UX and we had signed off with the deliverable in our compatible format.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

I had shown the UX to my architects and sales teams. They had shown good signs in terms of usability and this now forms the foundation of the module that we have started to build.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The situation demanded only online discussions and hence we had all our sessions virtually. All the sessions were very seamless and troublefree. We were able to quickly conclude things and sign off successfuly.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their quick understanding and grip over various aspects of end-user expectations were very impressive. This helped refine our requirements and conclude on the UX design very quickly.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing at the moment. All seemed perfect.

I’m the CEO of an intelligence-sharing platform.

What challenge were you trying to address with F1Studioz?

We needed help with UI/UX design for our platform before we hired developers to create the product.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They helped us with UX and UI design for the initial version of the web platform. They worked with us from the ideation stage. They used InVision. They also did internal AB testing for everything to ensure the interface is usable and the experience is optimal for our user base.

What is the team composition?

We worked with several designers, a creative director, and a few other people who did the user interface design.

How did you come to work with F1Studioz?

I found them while I was researching for a  user experience company when I was an advisor for another tech startup. That startup hired F1Studioz. Since I liked the work that they did for that tech startup, I reached out to them for my company.

We invested over $10,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from January–April 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s too early to tell. We’re still on the beta version of the launch. Our official launch will be next month. The current beta version is very simple and easy to use. The user experience was delivered in a very smart way.

How did F1Studioz perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is really good. We communicated at least once a week. They cared about delivering the right kind of user experience for the product. I find that rare in comparison to other companies I worked with in the past.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were very easy to work with.

There’s nothing I’d have them improve.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have a good idea of what you want to develop and who you’re targeting. They will be able to build the user experience accordingly.

I am the founder of a startup called Workaya. We are building world's first human friendly assistant for HR professionals to supercharge their sourcing & talent engagement process.

We are launching our company's product in June 2020 & I worked with F1Studioz to design the mobile/web application for it.

What were your goals for this project?

Since the launch date was very close, we had a very aggressive timeline for completing the UI/UX of the application so that we can launch on time. We wanted to work with a team which not only understands the UI/UX needs but also empathizes with users.

One of my friend's referred F1Studioz to me. I had a chat with Santosh & liked his authentic and transparent approach of working together.

Once we started working with F1Studioz, we had a few meetings to nail the optimal flow for application. F1Studioz team did a wornderful job of understanding requirement in a short span of time & coming up with innovative solution for it. One particular thing which resonated with me was their ability to listen, empathize with users & work on weekends to deliver the project on time. I really liked working with Jyoti at F1Studioz.

We had a designer assigned to our project with a manager managing the timely deliverables.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

F1Studioz delivered a pretty complex application flow in a short amount of time and with great design. The end-to-end process took about 6 weeks from discovery to delivery. At the end of it, we had some great design for our application.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The collaboration between F1Stuzio and Workaya was great with three syncup calls every week. F1Stuzio team was also open to get on call whenever there was any need.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Three things stood out for me:

1. Understanding user needs in detail.

2. Continuous process of taking input and modifying approach based on that.

3. Innovative designs which match user needs.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Sometimes as entrepreneurs, we get swayed to do more which might fall outside the scope of project. I polite 'No' early on, rather than late, can help make things better.

The project onvolved the redesign of the campaign management tool. It involved interactions with end users to document their needs. F1Studioz helped define the conceptual model of the product and refine the workflows.

3 designers from F1Studioz were working wth 3 products managers at Capillary.

The live product has up to 60% self serve users who have been using the product on their own.

Very efficient. It was 100% a collaboration.

The designers were able to help breakdown the complexity and bring all stakeholders to see the problems. They brought the entire team together to deliver on the final design.

What were your goals for this project?

We needed to minimize the bounce rate of the customers coming to our website. Another challenge was to make the website search engine friendly and ensure my products were listed properly. Also, Google was penalizing us because of the mobile responsive version of the website.

I liked their thought process and the passion they put into all their delivered projects. Their design thinking was also fresh.
