For what projects/services did your company hire Exavibes Services Private Limited, and what were your goals?
As the world is moving online and your presence to go online has become mandatory to cater to the wider audience and reach more clientele by leveraging the principles of the Internet. So, our company decided to build a Catalogue app for our customers, most of our customers are wholesalers and retailers.
We started hunting for companies who can build an app for us, this task was really difficult and in the end, we shortlisted Exavibes as they had everything that we were looking for. Starting from the kind of projects undertaken by them in the past along with a well knowledgable team in terms of technology and experience, we are happy, we found our best match and we highly recommend to others who want to accomplish the similar or require a customized business solution.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
When we decided to build a mobile application for android and iOS platforms we looked on the internet to find a company that is quite capable and experienced to accomplish our need, we had searched around 15 different vendors/companies including Exavibes. When we met Mr. Dev along with his experienced team of developers at their Mumbai office, we were quite assured that this team is quite capable and the best of amongst all we had looked out so far. Looking at their portfolio of work done so far and overall team experience. This is when we decided to go ahead with Exavibes Services Private Limited.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We decided to build an app that can help our internal team to connect to the audience quickly and provide a better customer experience by leveraging the power of the Internet. The app list all kind of Category of Women Fashion that we provide, some of them are Jumpsuits & Two Pieces, Bottoms, Dresses and Small Tops. Separate section to list down all the products along with a filtration option.
We have an Admin area where all these products, categories, sales are managed. Users can select the product that they are looking for and add them to the Inquiry cart, user can also select the number of quantities that they are looking for.
On the click on the inquiry button on the cart page, an automated WhatsApp message is being delivered to the customer along with our internal team. This helps us to connect to the customer much rapidly and provide a custom package / Quote based on the product quantity that the customer is looking to buy. Throughout the project development, they kept us informed of what's going to happen and what should we expect next.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We were assigned a dedicated contact person who was our project manager who used to give us weekly progress on the app along with the task to be accomplished in the upcoming week. There were 2 Mobile App developers, one designer, and two Backend Developers working on our project.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Our app is now being downloaded by more than 500 retailers/wholesalers, our revenue has also increased in the past quarter. I will give all my credit to the application and its workflow which Team Exavibes has helped us to accomplish in a very short span of time, they also guided us to market the app which in turn, turned out to be a great success.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
ExaVibes Team was anytime a phone call away. They used various project management tools like JIRA, Atlassian, but we were convenient with Excel, so they communicate the deliverables, timelines in a Google Spreadsheet.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
I think every person in the company is very well equipped for what they want to achieve effectively, the best part is their discipline towards deadlines and upfront communication on their tasks.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Currently, there is nothing that comes to my mind for this question, but yes they should start implementing the Six Sigma methodology in their company.
