End to end software development

Software is what we eat for breakfast. The same goes for lunch and dinner. With over 13 years of experience and more than 500 people, we’ve helped dozens of enterprises achieve their digital goals. Either by starting early in the digitization phase or by getting involved later on in the growth stage, we become an integral part of our clients’ business.

As end to end software development providers, we cover various industries while maintaining a consistent approach to deliver top notch solutions. We work successfully with our clients either by incubating teams and covering everything from top to bottom or by augmenting their own team and acting as an extension of their business, helping them scale with a bit more firepower. This brought us long term relationships with clients and companies from all over the world, mainly from the United States and Europe.

No matter the business model, our policy is to build products and support businesses, not just provide lines of code. That means that besides our army of software developers we also employ business analysts, product managers, UX designers, manual and automation QA testers, offering a full range of services. In the end, we’re more than providers or developers.

We’re your partner in building the right solution for your business. We’re there when you need us.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.

BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the applications development manager for Northern Safety, a reseller and distributor of industrial and MRO safety products.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

What challenge were you trying to address with Evozon Systems?

We wanted to temporarily increase our development staff for a number of projects. Unable to find suitable candidates in our immediate area, we reached out to Evozon to provide developers to work alongside our in-house team.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They augmented our existing development staff and guided our decision-making process to ensure we incorporated the most effective technologies. We first gave them a project to complete on their own and then incorporated them into our direct team.

One project of note was the creation of our e-commerce platform. They helped develop the entire base technology while working alongside our in-house designers. They integrated the site with a third-party search engine, built the cart and checkout system, added tax and shipping calculators, and ensured orders were processed by our SAP backend system.

They also ran comprehensive QA tests of our website and provided responsive mobile design.

What is the team dynamic?

We had 20 Evozon employees split across multiple projects during the height of our partnership. This included a project manager and six developers assigned to the e-commerce project.

How did you come to work with Evozon Systems?

We reached out to Evozon after working with another offshore development company that wasn’t a good fit for us. We wanted a company that could better understand our way of thinking and values.

The most compelling factor was that they aligned strongly with our technology needs. Since we're a .NET shop, it was helpful that they had an entire .NET department, but we also knew that Evozon had a broad range of skills. They understood technological nuances in a way we simply did not.

How much have you invested with them?

The exact cost is confidential, but it was a large project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together between April 2014 and the winter of 2016.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’ve seen an increase in sales, though I don’t have metrics that point to any definitive contributing factors. The website they developed, however, has proven to be reliable and consistent.

How did Evozon Systems perform from a project management standpoint?

They understood our project goals and were highly respectful of deadlines, working with us to complete deliverables on time.

What did you find most impressive about them?

One of the things that stood out was their willingness and ability to educate us. As a software development company, they’re able to stay up-to-date on the latest technologies, and they articulately explained the benefits of newly available methodologies.

We also appreciated their candor. They were bold enough to tell us the truth if they disagreed with our feedback or thought we were approaching a solution incorrectly. Our company values honesty, and we were happy to work with a partner who shares that belief.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re a Romanian company, and as much as we value honesty, we had to adjust to hearing feedback without American cultural filters. We also had issues with a few of the developers they provided, but Evozon was quick to educate these individuals internally or replace them.
