I’m the co-founder and director at Alpha OBS, a software and application development company. We build enterprise-level software and mobile apps.

What challenge were you trying to address with EvolutionWing?

My company was knowledgeable in PHP, React, and React Native. When we had an inquiry from an existing client who wanted to stretch certain data from an Apple Watch into an iOS app, we engaged with EvolutionWing.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We hired EvolutionWing to build an iOS app for an Apple Watch, and we sent them a brief in PDF format. They had to pick up roughly 7–8 data points from the Apple Watch. Some of them were the accelerometer values, gyroscope values, the heart rate, and the sleep data of the person wearing the watch. They took the data from the Apple Watch using an iOS app. After that, they placed the data onto a different React Native-based iOS app.

Their owner was our main point of contact.

How did you come to work with EvolutionWing?

We posted our project on Fiverr, and we contacted multiple people. We chose EvolutionWing wing because they were one step ahead of their competitors. They sent us a video of a similar prototype that they had built which would satisfy the app that we needed. My faith in them increased after seeing the video.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $450 for the MVP. 

What is the status of this engagement?

Our partnership ran from April–May 2021. Our engagement lasted 15 days.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

My partner who was the tech lead was actively involved in the calls once the MVP was done, and EvolutionWing showed us through a screen share that everything was working. They handed us over the code before the payment. After that, we went through the code and the app adhered to the industry standard. We got all of the parameters we asked for, and the work was done as intended.

We might work with them in the future if there would be a full version of the project. If so, they’d get repeat business from us. 

How did EvolutionWing perform from a project management standpoint?

The communication was satisfactory, and they weren’t wasn’t extremely proactive in terms of project management. However, even after the project was done, there were 1–2 instances where we were able to contact their developer. They promptly got on a call and explained to us what we needed to do. In the end, EvolutionWing supported us even after our partnership ended.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We were impressed that they provided us good support even after they accomplished their work.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I didn’t see any points that they could improve.

Be sure that the scope of work that you give to the team is crystal clear. That way, they can take care of the rest.

I’m the CEO and founder of Digital Technology Lab, a software company. We’ve developed multiple software platforms for businesses.

What challenge were you trying to address with EvolutionWing?

We needed help with mobile app development for several of our platforms. We have web development expertise but needed mobile development support for Android and iOS.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They've handled front- and backend development for several apps so far, including an Android app, a cross-platform Flutter app, and a native Android and iOS app. The first app is a CRM for e-commerce business owners. The second app is a platform that links coaches to clients. The third app is for a store where you can transform your web store into a mobile app. Operating within an agile framework, they provided us with documentation and wireframes along the way.

We work with the lead developer but they have other people working behind the scenes as well.

We found them through Upwork. To make sure they had the right skills to tackle all our requirements, we had them handle some smaller tasks before moving on to app building. Our work has evolved into a partnership.

We've spent $20,000 with them so far.

We've been working together since June 2020.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The feedback from our clients is what matters to us. As long as the people using the app are happy, we’re happy. Since we haven't received any support requests, our clients appear to be satisfied with their work. No news is good news.

How did EvolutionWing perform from a project management standpoint?

When we make sure our requirements are clear and written, there are no delays. If they aren't clear, we sometimes run into minor delays. We use Trello and Kanban for project management purposes.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re always available, regardless of our schedule.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, all the tasks they've been given have been handled well.

Follow-up is a good thing, and there won't be any rework as long as your requirements are clear. Their team works quickly.

I am the CEO of a digital fitness company.

For what projects/services did your company hire EvolutionWing, and what were your goals?

We hired EvolutionWijg to develop an iOS and Apple Watch app using our proprietary algorithm. The goal was to go from concept to finished project quickly.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We searched numerous platforms and discussed our idea with many vendors. We settled on EvolutionWing because of their clarity or concept, project planning, and attention to detail.

We discussed our desired outcomes then went into planning and creating milestones. Then progressed toward coming together on a design that worked for the industry and demands of the platform while keeping the end user at the forefront of our thinking. We used swift for iOS and HealthKit.

We are happy with what we’ve been able to create with EvolutionWing and excited about the upcoming launch AppStore launch and sharing a product that we’re proud of with our current customers.

They provided a simple but detailed plan so that we fully understood their process and how it worked toward our end goal. Communication was easy (and rapid even with the time zone difference) and they alway came through with milestones and deliverables ahead of schedule.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

A couple things stood out. Their clarity of scope for the project was refreshing in this industry that has a tendency to over-engineer and be difficult to understand. Moreover, their understanding of a complex system and algorithm was fantastic. We had to pass on other companies because they didn’t understand it but EvolutionWing asked all the right questions.

They did a fantastic job in communication and coming through on schedule.

I needed help in building some of my apps, which I hired EvolutionWing to help me with.

I began by telling EvolutionWing what I needed to get done. I had started some of the work myself but found that it was impossible to complete. They then helped me develop a smartwatch app for iOS and Android.

I spoke with two people from their team, but I only worked with one person for the development.

I spoke to many people, some of whom told me they couldn’t do what I was asking and some didn’t respond in a timely manner. EvolutionWing, however, was calm, kind, and could do exactly what I needed. They seemed like nice people as well, so I decided to work with them.

I invested around $2,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working in January 2021 and took two months to bring the app to the testing phase. They’re now working on another project for me.

When we put the app through a test flight, everything worked fine.

We communicated mostly through WhatsApp, and it was excellent. Every time they discovered something or hit a snag, they informed me, and anytime I reached out, they came back with answers right away. EvolutionWing got the work done in a timely fashion. They were really easy to work with.

EvolutionWing is very timely and has great communication skills.

There’s always room for improvement, but at the moment, I can’t specifically think of one.

With this company we were able to develop and publish the app "Etherean" is a horoscope and astrology app on iOS and android. We highly recommend them because they are always willing to solve all the problems that arise on a daily basis, which helps us to achieve an optimal app.
