Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m currently a business advisor at Cultivate Advisors, where we advise startups and small businesses. Before that, I was co-founder of a company that produced electrolyte drink mix powder.
What challenge were you trying to address with Everything Clicks?
Currently, I work with them on trying to figure out my ideal customer and reaching out to them to earn leads. In my previous company, I hired them for content creation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
On the content creation side, Everything Clicks helped me with some photography and videography. They organized a trip to Haiti with some of our product in order to capture content that we were then able to use on our social media.
For lead generation, they’re using their data analytics technology to dive in and pinpoint who our ideal customer is. Once they locate that ideal customer, they help me with email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, and social media ads to target them.
What is the team composition?
I work with two people from their team.
How did you come to work with Everything Clicks?
I found them originally because we were in the same coworking space. I got to know Clancy (Co-Founder & CMO), and we started working together.
How much have you invested with them?
The initial project I did with them was $500, and now I’m paying about $1,100 per month.
What is the status of this engagement?
I first worked with them in June 2017, but we started our most recent engagement in 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Everything Clicks has directly helped me land about half of my clients. They’ve really helped me understand who my client is and isn’t, which has been the most important thing. For me, it’s not necessarily about getting a lot of clients, but about getting the right one, and Everything Clicks has helped me pinpoint what qualities make the ideal customer.
How did Everything Clicks perform from a project management standpoint?
We meet weekly through Zoom. The team keeps really good meeting notes and send detailed email updates in terms of how things are going.
Everything Clicks is very organized, very good at communicating, and very responsive. We do everything through Google Suite, which is convenient.
What did you find most impressive about them?
My favorite thing about working with them is their personalities and the way they work. The team is laid-back and easy to get along with — it’s fun to work with them. I always enjoy my time when I’m working with Everything Clicks.
Are there any areas they could improve?
At first, I don’t think they did a good enough job of explaining how their data technology works. Now that I’ve seen what it does, it’s really impressive — they could’ve done a better job of selling me on it.
