I’m the website´s product owner for one of the biggest electricity providers in our region. Our headquarters are in Russia.

We provide different kinds of electricity. One kind is electricity produced from fuel, and the other is green energy.

What challenge were you trying to address with EuroStudio?

We hired them to do custom software development.

What was the scope of their involvement?

EuroStudio developed a custom software platform that connected and gained data from custom API and solar electro stations. They used the PHP framework to build it. The project wasn't easy, but they delivered.

The first step was a design that provided a special election of screens of future apps. We accepted it because it was an excellent design. Then, they started programming front- and backend. When programming was finished, they uploaded the app to our servers and launched it. It works around  four, five, and six miles at the moment, which is alright.

The platform looks like a live advertisement — it shows our solar electric station and how it produces electricity. We can show how much energy we get, how it helps us reduce CO2 exhaust, how many trees we’re saving, and how much money we’re saving.

We communicate with two people. The account manager makes all the documentary work, and the team leader is in charge of everything else.

How did you come to work with EuroStudio?

We got positive feedback about them from people we respected — many people I knew said they were good, reliable partners. Also, they had a nice website with a fine portfolio. We decided to try them and got nice results.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent €5,000 (approximately $6,000 USD) on this project.

What is the status of the engagement?

Our partnership began in April 2021. They finished this particular project in June 2021, but we’re still working together on another project.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The application is working, and everything is alright. The results are shown on a giant outdoor screen, which is placed in our building so everyone who comes here or drives by sees the screen. That way, people can see that solar energy is friendly and they can use electricity produced from nature. Overall, we’re happy to have such a nice web application.

How did EuroStudio perform from a project management standpoint?

EUROSTUDIO sticks to the schedule, and all tasks have been completed day-to-day. We’ve worked with other development companies, and not often do they excel at communicating and meeting deadlines. They’re very helpful and reliable people. Also, they’re prompt with communication — every important decision has been discussed through our task management systems and communication channels.

We communicate mostly via JIRA because it’s a contemporary platform. We also use conference calls, Telegram, and email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re experts in custom techniques. For example, the data for the application is collected from API, which is made by a Chinese factory, so sometimes data isn't constant. EuroStudio provided a solution by making a code, which helped us to work with no constant data.

In my practice, this was the first time that developers came up with such an excellent solution. It provided uptime for the application, and now we’re near 100%, which is very cool.

Are there any areas they could improve?

Maybe they could offer us more design varieties. We have a view on how we’d like the application to look, but they’re the experts. Other than that, we’re satisfied with the results.

Any advice for potential customers?

I’d recommend anyone to consider working with EuroStudio. However, make sure you provide enough information about your software needs. They have strong expertise and can analyze your needs to give you not only a solution for your task, but a whole IT strategy.

We’re a software development firm. I’m the founder, owner, and president.

What challenge were you trying to address with EUROSTUDIO?

We needed help with development. We got to a point where we weren’t able to do it all in-house because of the volume.

What was the scope of their involvement?      

We use EUROSTUDIO as an outsourcing partner. We started with smaller projects and we built up to larger and larger projects. Typically, we give them a scope and they give us a time and cost estimate. We usually go from there.

What is the team composition?

At the peak of our work together, we’ve had 8–9 people from EUROSTUDIO. We’ve worked with project managers, individual developers, graphic artists, and designers. We also worked with their owner.

How did you come to work with EUROSTUDIO?

I don’t remember how I found them. We keep working with them because they kept doing well on the small projects I assigned them.

We spent just over $1 million.

What is the status of this engagement?

We’ve been using them since 2006, and our work is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

I’ve used other outsourced firms before EUROSTUDIO. The quality was just not as good. These other vendors didn’t meet deadlines, projects wouldn’t work well, and it was always a hassle getting changes implemented.

With EUROSTUDIO, I’ve worked with the same developers that have strongly performed year after year. Having the same developers on the project is extremely helpful.

How did EUROSTUDIO perform from a project management standpoint?

I’ve never had any issues with EUROSTUDIO at all. Almost all communication is through online chats like Telegram or Skype.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

The quality of work is great, and it’s nice that I can work directly with developers. It’s a bonus that I can work with the same developers year after year.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They’re in a different time zone, which sometimes proves to be a challenge. I can’t expect them to work nights with a 13-hour difference.

When providing any documentation, do a good job. You can’t give too many details.

I’m the e-commerce manager of a furniture retailer. We have a digital marketplace where users can sell their products online.

What challenge were you trying to address with EUROSTUDIO?

We needed someone to update and relaunch our old webshop.

What was the scope of their involvement?

At the start of the project, they helped us set up the briefing for the web relaunch and provided us with the programming, including the restructuring of the URL, implementation of the SEO, and applying a payment solution. We initially gave them the proper documentation as well as access to the backend, so they can configure the site using Magento.

We wanted to keep the project on a budget so they researched how to keep the development as low cost as possible. They’re currently providing us with maintenance and hosting, but also implementing new features.

I’m in direct contact with Anton (Project Manager) and Dan (Web Developer), but I believe they have a bigger team working on the backend.

They were recommended to us by a friend of our boss.

We’ve probably spent around €100,000 (approximately $117,200 USD).

Our ongoing partnership started in February 2019.

EUROSTUDIO was able to make developmental improvements to our website. We’ve made more sales, the loading times have decreased, and we’ve also attracted more visitors.

How did EUROSTUDIO perform from a project management standpoint?

We initially used Notion as a ticketing system, but because of the pandemic, our company had to implement Microsoft Teams and Planner into our communication, so EUROSTUDIO switched to that tool with us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We like that they respond and implement our requirements quickly, and they’re always trying to find easy solutions for our problems.

Right now, everything has been great.

I would suggest talking openly about what is needed, so they can provide you with good suggestions on how to accomplish them.

I'm the CEO and founder of ODM Technologies, which is a company that provides software development to small companies in large organizations mostly in Europe.

EUROSTUDIO has been our long-time supplier. We’ve addressed many technical challenges when it comes to providing services to our clients.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We have a pretty streamlined process since we’ve been partnered with EUROSTUDIO for so long. It usually begins with us providing them the scope of work and customer’s requirements and expectations. The team then comes back to discuss the engagement depending on the type of proposal. We make technical and design-related decisions together and keep track of our progress.

There have been some periods of time when they weren’t on our radar. We could do more business with them if they would be a bit more present. On the delivery part, though, I have only good things to say.

It's all about knowing what you want and being clear and concise about it. The more experienced and tech-savvy you are, the better they’ll be able to deliver to your requirements. The partnership will work if you know what you're doing.

Please describe your company and your position there.

I was the co-founder of a company dedicated to make hair cutting appointments bookable online.

For what projects/services did your company hire EUROSTUDIO, and what were your goals?

We needed a tech team that was capable of building the website, booking engine and SaaS backend of our service quickly and in a high quality. Eurostudio delivered on our requirements perfectly.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were working with Eurostudio on various other projects before and had exceptionally good experiences with them. Therefore I was happy to work with them again on building the foundation for our startup.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

Based on our website designs as input the team developed the whole system from scratch based on the Yii PHP framework, using HTML/CSS and Javascript (jQuery) frameworks for the frontend.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

There were four key members on the team: 2 PHP developers and one Quality Assurance Expert, as well as one Solution Architect that helped us in selecting the right frameworks and dev ops tools to go with.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Well, a few months in one of the biggest German VCs invested into our startup after performing a technical due diligence which we passed flawlessly. Need I say more?

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We worked in a remote setup between Stuttgart, Berlin and Novosibirisk using various remote collaboration tools. The beginning of the project was handled using a kind of waterfall-ish project management approach, later we switched to SCRUM for the continuos development of the applications.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The work ethic and intelligence of the team were impressive.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nope. Really. Nope.
