Goal was to refresh our design language and make our website clearer and more appealing.

We've known Marek, EthWork's CEO for couple of years and worked on couple non-profit projects with him and EthWorks. We also work with many companies that used his services before and provided great feedback. We also compared his rates to some other code+design agencies and found that they're competetive.

We can't yet, but the new website will come live on public on https://ramp.network/ in a week or two.

We connected over Zoom every week or so to discuss progress and make decisions together. They were clear communicators, had good availability and organized meetings efficiently.

EthWorks combines strong domain, design, and software competences to deliver promised results.

EthWorks could've been more transparent on how their design propositions would affect the timeline and hours billed on the project.

I work for a digital hedge fund focused on crypto wealth optimization. We use high-frequency algorithms, arbitrage, and portfolio trading techniques to generate returns on the digital assets our clients invest.

What challenges were you trying to address with Ethworks?

After launching the digital hedge fund in February 2017, we needed a more user-friendly platform for our investors, including a homepage that reflects current cryptomarket alternatives.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Our company’s efforts prioritize our backend and trading, rather than the user experience on our platform. Since web development is not our focus, we hired Ethworks to modernize and improve our site’s design. As our site is not yet scaled for organic web traffic, development work catered to our current clients. The team provided high-quality coding to create a more intuitive experience for our investors.

We’ve invested around €20,000 euro ($24,088).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working with Ethworks around September of 2017, and have completed the initial project. We still have new tasks to complete, as there’s always work that needs to be done. Since our partnership worked so well the first time, we plan to continue working with them.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Ethworks did a fantastic job on the website. It looks very professional and performs much better. Since the team completed this project, our investors have been engaging much more effectively with the platform. They’re able to efficiently locate topical information, and find it easier to deposit money. Internally, our team has been happy with the results of this engagement.

Our firm is not looking for growth at this point; we don't solicit new clients online. The site exclusively serves our private investors, who are basically inbound to our sales. The metrics we monitor are focused on our current customer base. We’ve received positive feedback from our clients, who are very satisfied with the site’s new look and feel.

The team was very easy to work with. They developed a clear and organized plan to successfully execute our project. All the work we requested was done on time and within our budget.

I’m the CEO of Verify. We’re a company that allows users to buy, sell, and support various products using cryptocurrency.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We went to EthWorks with an idea and a general description of what we wanted to accomplish. We had a relatively detailed outline of the solution and how we planned to approach it. Natalia [UI/UX, Graphic Designer, EthWorks] did an excellent job of asking all the right questions to understand the challenge we were trying to solve. She was happy to lend a hand and explain how the process would work.

The main purpose of the website was to explain the concept behind Verify to people that don’t know anything about it. We had ideas around the concept and the layout for the site, and they selected the color palette and designed the graphics/illustrations. We had the main site page, which focuses on our vision and what we’re seeking to accomplish. Then we had a more detailed page that explains how it actually works. We also had a token sale page where contributors could see progress on how much we’d raised so far and how they could contribute.

They went on to create wireframes and eventually build out the site using HTML and CSS with a bit of JavaScript. The project wasn’t heavy on the development side; a lot of it was just illustration and design. We initially engaged them for design and a little development but later engaged them to do some of our contract work, which was primarily development.

I worked with Natalia and Marek [Blockchain Developer, EthWorks]. Natalia was responsible for a lot of the design side and illustrations, while Marek took a lead on the development work.

How did you come to work with EthWorks?

I found them through Dribbble. We were looking at various profiles and I really liked a previous project that they worked on. We considered 5-6 out of 30+ agencies, and I ended up choosing EthWorks because of their expertise. They’re very specific in the sort of work that they take and primarily work on Ethereum based projects. They had a lot of experience with the exact type of project that we were looking to develop. The quality of their work is amazing. I saw a lot of examples from their Dribbble page, and they did a phenomenal job with our project.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in October 2017 and concluded in December.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We initially set the website up for our token sale. We were looking to raise $2.5 million maximum, and we were able to achieve that.

How did EthWorks perform from a project management standpoint?

I’ve done a few projects before, and there were always challenges with communication and missed deadlines. EthWorks did a stellar job in both estimation and delivery. We communicated through email, and they were very responsive.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their quality is impressive. We came into the project with very high expectations, and they delivered.

I can’t think of anything.

It’s a good idea to engage ahead of time because it’s just 2-3 people at the company and they need time to plan ahead. Contact them early. If you work with them, I’m sure the project will meet your expectations.

I'm a Process and Program Manager at Hoard. Our company is building a blockchain based solution enabling trading of non-fungible tokens representing in-game items, digital art, real estate, domain and many more.

We selected EthWorks based on recommendation from other projects as well as the professional pre-sale engagement during which they proved their deep level of experience and expertise on the subject.

They developed smart contracts for the Marketplace dapp. They chose solutions that allow for maximum security with the best gas costs optimization. We had weekly update calls during which they informed us about the progress and discussed ongoing issues.

All was delivered on time, all deadlines met. Post development audit that we have performed did not reveal many errors and that just confirmed the quality for they work.

We communicated through email, Slack and Zoom (weekly update calls). They delivered on all deadlines The project management was very professional.

We could communicate with the whole team (PM and developers) which made the information flow a lot easier. They were committed to keeping us well informed about what was left to do and when those tasks were to be completed.

I am the CEO of a marketplace platform, both to work with freelancers and companies.

Our aim is to transform the global service market by leveraging blockchain as a source of trust. At the core of the system is a built-in escrow and arbitration which protects both buyers and sellers and all this built on smart contracts.

We hired Ethworks to develop our dApp for DeFi and implement smart contracts.

We selected Ethworks as they came recommended from blockchain network. They have very impressive portfolio and big expertise in the field which was a deciding factor.

Project included Smart Contracts written in Solidity which were then audited by 3rd party contractors, as well as dApps (Web Application) on top of the Smart Contract which we keep developing as we speak.

I worked with with a team concluding of one UI/UX designers one front-end developer and two smart contract/blockchain developers.

The smart contract developed by Ethworks passed all the audits positively at quick time which gave us opportunity to speed up the project.

We are still in a development phase, but the methods and pace of the team proves it was a good choice.

The expertise and knowledge about blockchain and smart contracts is really impressive. Ethworks has proposed many solutions to our problems and you could feel they know what they're talking about.

So far everything meets our expectations and we are very content with how the process goes. There is no recommendation for improvement at this stage.
