Our company sells laser diodes and modules. I’m the director of operations.
What challenge were you trying to address with ESP Inspire?
We hired ESP Inspire to rebuild our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
ESP Inspire created a new website for our company. I provided the information while they suggested all the design elements and new features. One feature is a selection tool for our products. Laser diodes have different wavelengths. Users can go through a quick list and choose what they’re looking for. Their team also handles Google Ads, giving me monthly reports on our ranking.

PHP Development for Custom Box Manufacturer
"Their project management approach was very impressive, especially compared to other vendors."
the reviewer
the review
The client submitted this review online.
Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a project manager at a manufacturer of custom boxes for small businesses.
For what projects/services did your company hire ESP Inspire?
We manually documented almost everything about our business, and the backend of our WordPress site was problematic. We hired ESP Inspire to redevelop our website to address these pain points.
What were your goals for this project?
The new system needed to be developed using the PHP framework. We hoped that it would replace our legacy software that was becoming increasingly unstable.
How did you select this vendor?
We found them through a Google search.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We relied on ESP Inspire to design, develop, configure, and launch a new backend business management solution. Following a discovery workshop, we decided on the full scope and business goals. We approved the workflows, wireframes, and mock-ups and decided to work in two-week sprints. ESP Inspire provided functional versions for user testing and feedback at the end of each two-week session. Their developers made key suggestions at that time, as well, and they implemented all feedback into the next round of work.
What was the team composition?
The project manager was a constant during the engagement, but six other members of their team played active roles depending on needs at any specific time.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
Our solution was developed and launched early. We signed an extended service level agreement because of how well ESP Inspire performed. The platform is still relatively new, but it has already reduced weekly data entry errors by more than 70%. Employees now have, on average, an extra 3–5 hours each week to devote to activities other than data entry.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
Their project management approach was very impressive, especially compared to other vendors. Their team regularly complied with deadlines and always communicated delays well ahead of time. Unexpected turnover never threatened to stop our progress. We communicated exclusively through Skype and Asana.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
We had direct access to the project manager and the team at large. This was critical because technical requirements can easily be lost in translation when there is only a single middleman. ESP Inspire prevented that issue by keeping the lines of communication open.
Are there any areas for improvement?
No, there is very little they could do to improve. My only suggestion for future clients would be to do as much brainstorming and documentation as you can beforehand. Validating the project requirements will be much easier with thoughts already articulated.
