Black Patch is a mobile/web app that is like Uber but not for ride-sharing, instead, it provides technician services to its users.

This app will enable its users to avail themselves of technician services while staying at their homes or any other place they want.

For what projects/services did your company hire Esferasoft Solutions Pvt. Ltd.?

I hire Esferasoft Solutions for the whole project. From the design to coding and implementation on the app stores. They supported me with UX and UI too.

For the development and the final product, the CTO and the CEO get involved to check and review any milestone and the quality. This was what I appreciated the most.

What were your goals for this project?

To develop 2 native apps (IOS and Android), working with an Admin Panel Web. Create an intuitive and smooth interface with options to scale or modify in real-time.

The language was a challenge too because this app was developed in English, and I require Spanish too.

1. Briefing and development of the concept.
2. Planning, wireframing, and user flow (UX) Collection every information, key requirements from competitive analysis, and key pointers from stakeholders then I will create wireframes and user flow (some of the links are below) to make ideas into something visible and understandable by the team involved, Update wireframes and user flow as per the key input(Design Sprints result) of all the team members. After successfully completing this process get the first to look at app/product that helps in creating architecture, content inventory, and use cases or user stories,
3. UI Design Collecting every information about the design soul of the product and tone of the brand to reflect them in the product, I use Atomic Design Model to organize our assets in Atoms > Molecules > Organisms > Templates > Pages
4. Prototyping Create. Creating prototypes for Stakeholders to show the flow of the app and where things are placed on the UI helps in a quick understanding of the flow and detailed feedback from stakeholders.

We are now testing the final products, and we are close to launching them on the app stores.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Considering Black Patch is in México, it was very good. The project manager is a clue piece to make things happen. Taking advantage of technology like Whatsapp, Zoom, and others, the workflow was smooth.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

As I mentioned before, working side to side with the CTO and the CEO, was the best part. This shows a big commitment not only with the project but with me too.

Sometimes the deadlines could move a little, but when you see the quality and final product, it worths it.

Our online job board was prone to crashes, and it always took days for our contracted developers to resolve the issue. We needed a new development team to perform regular maintenance and troubleshoot site crashes promptly.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Esferasoft functions as our company’s IT department, so they’ve helped us with all of our website needs. To prevent frequent crashes, they redeveloped the backend; We’re running PHP on an Apache server, and we’re using the X-Cart database for an optimized e-commerce experience. They also redesigned the frontend and use WordPress and Joomla for content management. Other work includes custom development and development for existing platforms, including API integrations, mobile app development, CSS outsourcing, and open-source programming software like Moodle. Since the foundational code is complete, most of their efforts are spent enhancing the site’s UX.

What is the team composition?

We have a head developer who does most of the core work, in addition to a WordPress developer and a mobile app developer. They scale the size of the overall team depending on the scope of work.

We initially used them for small assignments, but our relationship grew after seeing consistent success with their team. We eventually phased out our U.S.-based developers and started working with Esferasoft exclusively for all of our website needs.

We started using their services in 2009, but they’ve been our exclusive IT partner since 2011.

Esferasoft’s rapid website solutions are integral to our outstanding customer experience. Our competitors don’t have the luxury of an embedded team that can produce deliverables quickly to satisfy increasing demands. We’ve grown exponentially, and they’ve been successful in adapting to our changes.

They’re based in India, so we had to get accustomed to the time zone difference. They typically work at night, so we communicate via email. If we’re working on a massive project, we’ll schedule a late-night phone call.

It’s evident that they care about their work because they’re always willing to make improvements. They respond to our requests immediately, which is a stark contrast to developers we’ve used in the past. Despite being located in different time zones, they’re accessible 24/7 to handle emergencies.

You can’t ask for better service.

Although they have a decent command of the English language, it’s not rare for the language barrier to cause misunderstandings. Be patient and find solutions for effective communication, and they will offer the same courtesy. Overall, their team is easy to work with; Companies we’ve recommended their services to have had equally positive experiences.

Fashion Circle is a B2B platform that connects fashion designers and retailers. I’m the founder and CEO.

What challenge were you trying to address with Esferasoft Solutions Pvt Ltd?

I needed someone to build my platform from scratch.

What was the scope of their involvement?

They developed our platform with the core system is written in Python. The main functionality connects directly to the shop system on the vendor or designer side, as well as on the merchant or retailer side. The vendor can connect to our system via a shop system plugin and they can add products to our system. On the retail side, they can also connect via a plugin from their shop system to our system and add those vendor products to the online shop without having to wholesale buy them.

We acquire the payments from the retailer and forward them directly to the vendor. It’s a real-time solution for order handling as well as products and stock levels. We finished the first version of the software in fall last year, but they continue to work on more features.

I worked with a project manager and there was also one main developer I talked to.

We’ve had good feedback from our customers. We have a few high-profile clients, but only a select few. It’s not an open system; instead, it's by invitation only. It’s important that if the client encounters any problems or issues with the software, we can solve them as quickly as possible. We have a very direct connection to our clients, which means we need to have a direct connection to Esferasoft too. So far, the response time is very good and very quick, which has had a good impact on our bottom line.

How did Esferasoft Solutions Pvt Ltd perform from a project management standpoint?

I discuss new and current milestones with the project manager. They’re based in India and we’re in Berlin, but the communication has been really good. If I text or call them, there’s always someone readily available. After having worked with them for more than a year now, the people I’m directly in touch with know the project well. It’s easy to communicate if there are any problems or requests from our side.

Since we had a very complex solution in mind, they needed to find a creative solution for some parts, which took a bit longer. In general, they’re good at adhering to deadlines.

This proposal presents the complete feature list for each module i.e Passenger , driver and admin. The application is designed to be scalable, extensible, highly available and with a good performance.
