For what projects/services did your company hire ERP Solutions PLC, and what were your goals?
We hired The ERP solutions PLC team to implement Enterprise Resource Planning system software for our company and to make it paperless, the basic modules which they have implemented are construction management system, finance management system, inventory management system, procurement management system, and Human Resource management system
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
we make a tender for different ERP system providers and based on their technical and financial proposals they win.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
The technology they used is Maria DB database and python programming language. The team first conducted analysis requirements by making interviews and introducing different questionnaires to our management and users. Then they presented a GAP analysis report and their recommendation for our company. Based on that they resume their design and customizations. After that, they gave us training and recorded live data for construction, finance, procurement, Inventory, and human resource we are viewing reports from the system.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Almost there were five, the project manager was Fikremariam and the deputy was Biruk. Then there were three members two from an ICT background and one from an accounting background.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The system is very nice we can now simply follow-up every process in the company, we are delivering financial reports on time. For government use, we can access our company data anytime anywhere and we as a company have a paperless system.

Their project management style is transparent, as they have a project represenative from their side and me from our side to follow up on the status of tasks, and deadlines to deliver such tasks. We use Telegram for communicating and they made a progress report and presentation for the whole project, in a month. The team adhered to strict schedules in terms of the delivery of tasks and performed them well.

Their communication, on-time delivery, team composition, and knowledge about their work were most impressive.

I’m the deputy manager of Peniel LLC.
What challenge were you trying to address with ERP Solutions PLC?
We needed help with ERP system integration.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We started the project by working on requirement analysis. The ERP Solutions team created questionnaires, and our team informed them about our requirements, the reports we needed, and the issues we faced. They customized their own ERP system to address these challenges. They integrated their ERP system with our processes, inventory, financial reports, and production system.
After they trained us, we started using the system by ourselves, though they stayed with us for 2–3 months to provide support services. ERP Solutions also built our website from scratch using HTML and PHP. They also had a mobile app that we could access.
At present, we’re still engaged with them. If we need additional customizations or reports, we call them and they help us.
What is the team composition?
We’ve worked with 2–3 people from their team, including their general manager. Some of their members are coders, and one person supports the project’s financial reporting aspects.

The reporting process has become simple for us, and we can now make different types of analyses. Moreover, we can complete our financial reports on time and provide them to the government. For context, we’ve been previously penalized because of late reports. Now, we can provide timely reports for the board of directors and owners. On top of that, our company has become nearly 80% paperless.
How did ERP Solutions PLC perform from a project management standpoint?
ERP Solutions has given us a six-month timeline, and they’ve delivered on time. We communicate with them through their project management tool. Our teams also have meetings every two weeks.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The best thing about them is their timely delivery. Apart from that, they understand the financial system, and their communication with our employees has been good as they provide training and support.

We had serious data entry problems because we documented everything manually, and our legacy business management solution was unstable. As a result, we hired this team to implement an ERP software solution that could handle our needs. Our goal was to have a scalable solution to help us track and hit our revenue targets and managing flexibility in all operations. The project was successfully implemented!

They completed the project in few weeks sprints, which allowed us to test functions and give feedback. The final product automated our data entry and generated revenue reports. They also gave us full training and still supporting us whenever we face difficulties in operation, especially for new employees.

They are 100% educated and with a lot of experience. They know everything especially in Finance which lets them be considered as highly favored in front of our top finance experts. We also had direct access to the whole team, which made it easier to communicate our ideas. Things can be lost in translation if you're only talking to a project manager.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The quality of work was great, we as a business company couldn't find anything wrong so far. As we are from Africa, they did it well, and their performance was superb!
