For what projects/services did your company hire Enterwell, and what were your goals?
We hired Enterwell for development of FE system for inventory part of OSS system. I this project we covered geographic address management. With this system we have covered address management through one system, we expect data quality improvement and lower the maintenance cost .
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
This was the second project with Enterwell, and we heard for them through private connections. We were looking for smaller company for faster and easier communication and realization of project.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
They designed and developed GUI system for address management which use internally developed BE (REST API according TMF-673). They supported us from design and development through testing support and finally deploying on production environment and babysitting. First they give us designed forms of new GUI and after that they followed our development on BE side. They used Java and Spring for BFF and HTML5, JavaScript and React for FE.

They had two people, one for design and one for development.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
System is not yet in full production due to problems with implementation of new process and integration with legacy systems.

They were very reliable, responsive, and informal. They used all the technologies we proposed and all the tools needed for project management and communication. Compared to other larger companies they are fast and without complicated procedure.

We have hider Enterwell to work on design and development of a comprehensive system integration platform. The platform is designed to communicate with large number of IoT devices and provide a unique UI (web and desktop application) for system overview, information collection and analyses as well as interaction with various devices.

We have started working with companies founders on small projects back before 2014. Because we were very satisfied by the results and by enthusiasm and knowledge that the Enterwell bought with them by time we continued to grow our cooperation and expand into new projects.

The project in question is an ongoing development. Enterwell is working closely with our in-house team on defining the road maps, designing new features and tracking and managing bug fixing. When it comes to the specific implementation of the features, Enterwell has top experts who can suggest and implement the correct solution for every problem in the area of system integration.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
We are constantly working with 6-8 developers from Enterwell. They have an organized structure where we have our lead developer/project manager who also has a backu-up if he would be unavailable at any time. The lead developer is doing all the task management for their team but we are also in constant communication with the all the developers directly for all the specifics of each task.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We are very satisfied with the results and achieved delivers that were realized in the scope of the project.

We are using multiple communication tools (Slack, Teams, Trello, DevOps etc.) for tracking the development process. We have regular (usually 2-week) coordination meetings with the lead developers in order to define the next sprint goals.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They are versatile development experts who have our full confidence in solving any problem. No matter if the problem is complex integration using any kind of communication protocols or languages or designing a sleek and user-friendly UI they have everything covered of WPF appliacation. For instance, in our specific project we have a limited requirement for designers, but they nevertheless have some very capable designers in-house so we can get the right support with amazing results from them at any time even if we need a designer support only from time to time.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
None that I can think of. We are constantly working on improving our communication and workflows so if we ever run into anything worth improving we quickly fix it.

Enterwell provided great fit both in the technologies we use (Javascript, React, SASS) and quality that needed to be provided. Also, Enterwell managed to quickly start working on this project and provide additional developers that would fit in an existing development team and help us meet the short deadlines.

One front-end developer from Enterwell's side was included in the development as a part of our existing development team. However, Enterwell managed to help us with two additional developers in the moment when we had short deadlines which needed to be met.

Enterwell helped us to deliver way quicker and met the tight deadlines that were set at the start of the project. Good quality of the work and proper communication also helped with successful collaboration with Enterwell and the end client.

They took part in daily meetings, they were always available for any questions and discussions through the project management tools and messaging apps. For what projects/services did your company hire Enterwell?
The idea was to get from an idea to a product the fastest way possible. Hiring developers at that point would take some time and instead we did a hard look into the market for the best fit to help us build our product. Enterwell stood up cause of the mix of their talent and the first impression they made on us.
What were your goals for this project?
The initial idea was to create an MVP. But as we developed the MVP, we realized that their talent level would be hard to find in one spot (designer + developers) and we just went further with it. We ended up building a great, desirable product, which our customers love + the website.
How did you select this vendor?
As we decided to go with the outsourced team, we had around 15 offers and recommendations. Enterwell was the best fit cause of their talent mix and high level, for what we needed. They made a great first impression, by answering honestly the questions we prepared (which we did check out). That made our business relationship great from the start cause transparency is very important to us.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We actually knew pretty much what we wanted. How was totally another story. They gave us a full team where we went from idea to the product. The first part was very detail-oriented, to speed up a process and leave less space for errors.
We had multiple long meetings (we wanted to go as fast as possible so they adjusted) where they explained how we will get to each goal of our journey. The design was always a step ahead cause they wanted to show us visually how it was going to look. In those sprints they were very transparent and even though there were setbacks, they handled it perfectly.
What was the team composition?
Project team included 2 of us and their 2 teams. One team was lead by product lead, lead developer, designer and 3 more developers. The other team (website) had same designer and lead developer but other 2 developers.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
As mentioned before, the initial idea was to produce MVP asap. But down the road we realized that we should go further. The end result is a great and loved product - and paid customers.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
It was a very simplified cause I was very involved in the development. We combined our team of people with Enterwells over the Slack to speed up the communication between us and to work as a single team. We used Trello to follow up on the process and keep us informed on the deadlines we agreed upon. Any setbacks we communicated fast and over the phone cause time was of the essence.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Level of talent. The mix of talent. It is impressive to have a group of people that can do a great job very fast and efficiently. It was a very good fit with our mindset.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Of course. These are young and talented people. With time they will handle the processes even faster and better, which makes it even more impressive. To have a great team and more space for improvement.

We were launching Priceless Croatia, 46th destination in the Priceless.com program,where we would provide premium and exclusive experiences and offers to Mastercard cardholders via priceless.com. The experiences and offers would be hosted on priceless. com, under country: Croatia, but to buy the experience we were missing an redemption solution, as automated purchase experience. The solution for the redemption was to build a web shop which is why Enterwell was hired.
What were your goals for this project?
the goal was to create a premium shopping experience, a web shop which would contain information about the experience, timing and quantity and a easy billing service so that our cardholders could go through easy buy out experience.
How did you select this vendor?
we were looking for a IT company that could deliver a quality, easy to use and in a very limited time solution to us, and Enterwell has shown to be a perfect partner to choose.

They were hired to built a web shop to be a link between Priceless.com platform where our experiences and offers were hosted and a redemption platform, a web shop for Croatian cardholders, as well for and international ones. They have designed the proposal of the web shop, and developed it based on my inputs and configured it to match our needs.
What was the team composition?
at least 4 people were working with us the whole time, as I have mentioned time was limited and they needed to design, develop and configure a solution that would fit our needs&demands (priceless.com platform) and needs of cardholders in Croatia and brother. The project was lead by Marin Glibic, project manager and main contact.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
The project was finished on time, even sooner than we planned to launch. There was enough time to do all the tests regarding the shopping experience. I was very satisfied as we were one of rare countries among 46 destinations o the platform priceless.com that has managed to provide a digital payment solution via premium shopping experience for our cardholders.
How was project management arranged and how effective was it?
At all times we, in Mastercard new the status of development. We were regularly informed, briefed, questions were raised and if any problem came out. Enterwell has shown to be vey prompt in reaction and offering a solution. I would say that they were more than 100% on our project and fully dedicated to finish the project and launch the web shop.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their level of professionalism and dedication to us as a client stood out. The customer relationship was on the highest level. Willingness and energy of the company and their team was impressive in our project and I would like to congratulated them on that.

I was a psychologist at a non-governmental organisation with the needs, rights and protection of children in Croatia at its heart. As well as offering a helpline for children and parents, We support families through a number of programmes and projects based in schools, communities and online. I have worked there as a psychologist and national coordinator for a project co-funded by a major international governance body.
For what projects/services did your company hire Enterwell?
Specifically they were hired for creating an online e-platfom that was part of a project to shift child discipline away from corporal punishment.
What were your goals for this project?
The online e-learning platform was for kindergarten teachers and specialists. They can use it for learning about topics such as corporal punishment, child rights, violence against children. As a part of the platform we also needed to create a self-evaluation tool for kindergartens.
How did you select this vendor?
We asked for several recommendations and contacted 3 different companies to see if they were motivated to participate in this kind of project, since we were also limited by financial means.
Describe the project and the services they provided in detail.
We gave instructions to Enterwell that we needed an online tool for learning and self-evaluation. It was supposed to be user-friendly and simple so kindergarten teachers of all ages can easily use it. We needed a platform on which we could upload different educational materials (leaflets, brochures) but also presentations (courses) and videos. Each course was followed by a short quiz connected to the topic, and if users complete the quiz, on their profile they will get a certificate that they participated in a specific course. It was important that different learning materials were available for registered or unregistered users.
With Enterwell, we had a couple of meetings for defining technical requirements. We have communicated on regular basis by e-mail and Skype meetings to comment on the progress of e-platform development. After the technical solution, they also came with a great and simple design. At the end of the project, their experts organized training for us so that we can administrate the platform by ourselves.
What was the team composition?
We communicated with the project manager, who was always helpful to answer all our questions and concerns. IT experts and designers were also included in a different time and were present at our meetings depending on the topic we needed to discuss.
Can you share any information that demonstrates the impact that this project has had on your business?
We have demonstrated the platform at a conference we organized and kindergarten teachers were thrilled to have a user-friendly online learning tool. Platform is still active and available online. We have made an external evaluation of the whole project and it was rated as very successful.

We have communicated with the project manager, who was always helpful to answer to all our questions and concerns. Besides face to face meetings we have communicated by e-mail on a regular basis and had Skype meetings.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
For Enterwell, it was the first time they are cooperating with an NGO, and for us it was important to cooperate with someone who understood our values and goals in protecting children. In communication with them, we could feel that they are very motivated in helping us and were not driven only by financial means but by sincere a will and desire to help us in child protection. Since we don't have an IT expert in our organization, and it is sometimes difficult to understand specific IT terminology, it was very helpful that they explained everything they were doing in a simple way and helped us to find the best solutions for the requirements we had.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
Croatian Telecom is a big telecommunications company in Croatia. I’m a group leader inside the IT department, responsible for operational systems support.
What challenge were you trying to address with Enterwell?
We usually need external vendors for building solutions, either backend or content-based ones. In the case of Enterwell, we were building a frontend solution.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Enterwell developed a frontend solution for SIM card and number management. As a telecommunications company, this is one of our main services.
They used React.js on the frontend. They integrated it with our systems using different APIs, including RESTful, XML, and even Java Database Connectivity (JDBC) in some cases to connect to our databases.
In the beginning, we gave Enterwell a background of the product we needed. First, we engaged them in a smaller part of the project to see how they would work and respond to our requests.
They proved to be in alignment with our requirements, and we started development after that. We gave them tasks in small pieces, which made up the whole product in the end. We followed an agile approach, with sprints lasting a couple of weeks or so.
Enterwell was open to any extensions, so the whole product was built in a manner that would allow for creating those. Our plan is to use their product for other functionalities (e.g. managing our inventory).
What is the team composition?
We worked with Enterwell as a joint team, meaning there were developers from both sides. The team usually consisted of five people depending on the current sprint. We’ve worked in an agile way, so we led the project from our side.
They had a role akin to a scrum master on their side, namely the lead developer. This developer received requests from our side, translated them, and organized things on their side. They also had some junior developers, and they involved a designer at one point, who made wireframes for the GUI.
How did you come to work with Enterwell?
I got a recommendation from a couple of people who knew them from previous projects. We needed a young team that could deliver results fast and could work in an agile way (with a lot of changes).
After they were introduced to us, we had an interview with them where we presented our requests. They were very familiar with the topic, and we recognized that right away, so we decided to start working with them.
How much have you invested with them?
The total investment so far is close to $70,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working with Enterwell in October 2018, and we finished the project in September 2019.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Enterwell finished their tasks on time, and the final testing for the solution is currently running. At the moment, everything seems to be okay.
We’ve received some first impressions from the internal users who will be working with the platform, and they’re very satisfied. They definitely see it as an improvement.
We’re relatively large for the Croatian market, and we have a lot of systems. The platform Enterwell built was part of a much larger program. It was basically an IT transformation inside of our company.
The program focused on building new solutions for functionalities previously covered by older systems. Enterwell was part of one phase of this transformation, and we plan to launch it officially on October 1st 2019.
How did Enterwell perform from a project management standpoint?
They fulfilled all the requests, and they were never late. Our main goal was to find a team for agile development, and they were good in that respect.
We spoke with them a couple of times per week, depending on the situation. We would have regular meetings at least once-per-week, depending on the project dynamics. Sometimes, that could even be daily. Email conversations were going on constantly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Enterwell is a young team, and they always had suggestions in terms of new technologies and methodologies. This was the reason for hiring a young team; we needed a refreshing perspective in that area.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Their progress from the start of the project until the end was very reasonable. They evolved a lot along the way. It’s possible they’re not used to working in a big environment like ours. I can understand that. It’s specific to the telecommunications industry.
Enterwell adapted fast, and we jumped in wherever they needed help with integrations or anything. This area is really specific, and anyone entering it without having much experience with it will deal with the same situation.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
If the client is looking to work with someone who can bring new ideas in terms of technology and methodology, I would definitely recommend Enterwell to them.

I’m the former head of software development at Technozavod Marusic, a security company that works in video surveillance, anti-burglary systems, and access control.
What challenge were you trying to address with Enterwell?
We needed a company to develop our custom-software security platform. The software needed to accommodate our clients’ varied hardware and equipment in one platform with a central monitoring system.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Enterwell integrated third-party equipment into the central monitoring system: video surveillance cameras, different alarm panels, fire panels, and exit control panels. The platform also has functionalities to process employee credentials and review documentation requirements for restricted access areas. We measure access duration through controls and cameras via different setups for each specific client.
What is the team composition?
We work with between 4 – 7 dedicated developers.
How did you come to work with Enterwell?
We contacted the team members before the formally established Enterwell. Our team hired them as university students after they completed an initial task.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $4.5–$5 million.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in October 2014 and the partnership is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Enterwell has matured into a nice company and continues to deliver on their promises. The platform has received positive feedback and is it goes through successive upgrades. Our clients are satisfied with the work.
How did Enterwell perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicate daily and Enterwell lets us know when they aren’t able to meet deadlines. We’ve had more internal issues inside our company with third-party relationships than with Enterwell.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The team is responsible and has a great attitude. They contribute ideas throughout the development and product lifecycle. Enterwell completes tasks with ease and many of their ideas are better than ours.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I wouldn’t improve anything. The team is organized, timely, and competent. Things that could have been better were on our side.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be open to different points of view because Enterwell is always educating themselves. The team is motivated, eager, and full of ideas.
Despite the system not yet in full production due to additional processes and legacy system integration, the team still managed to work quickly without complicated procedures. Above all, they were reliable, responsive, and fast who used the client's preferred technologies and tools for the project.
