Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of exploration and production at a Denver-based oil and gas exploration and production company.
What challenge were you trying to address with EnTech IT Solutions?
We were a small company, and we couldn't afford our own IT department. We needed a partner to handle our IT concerns for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
EnTech is responsible for all our IT and communications concerns. They handle our phone lines, do cybersecurity, update our hardware, and install software. They also help maintain and update our custom software for oil and gas exploration. Additionally, we have a maintenance and hosting contract with them. They work both on- and offsite.
What is the team composition?
I’ve worked with Bryan (President & Founder) and Robert (Level 1 Service Desk Technician).

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in May 2011, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our company operates 24-hour a day, 365 days a year. Anytime we encounter problems, even outside business hours, EnTech has been responsive. They work on it until the job gets done and resolve issues within a day. They’ve been very involved in keeping us up and running.
How did EnTech IT Solutions perform from a project management standpoint?
Entech has been excellent at communication and sticking to deadlines. I usually call or text whenever I have a concern, and they work on our system remotely or in person, depending on the issue.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They are responsive and capable of fixing and resolving our problems. Overall, the EnTech IT Solutions team has been very good at dealing with issues that come up in our business, such as when our hardware doesn’t work or when we have a virus.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything. Even though they’re working with multiple clients, they always fit us in.

Built the servers and helped separate admin and engineers.

Great dealing with two knowledgeable people to answer our questions. quick to respond. They're always ready and willing to help.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The support emails are redundant many times over. Need to reduce the number of verifications.
