Branding & Logo Design for Consulting Company
"They’re able to get a lot of high-quality work done in a relatively short amount of time."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I'm an independent consultant, and I own my own consulting company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Enockson Design?
After branching out and creating my own company, I needed to create a unique brand and logo to give my company a professional look.
What was the scope of their involvement?
I’ve worked with Enockson Design on two projects. During the first project, the team focused on creating a logo and various branding materials to establish our look and feel. I worked closely with Hugh (Owner), who conducted a detailed interview with me. We talked about our services, what makes us different from our competitors, and so on. Once he understood who we were, he went and created some logos and designs. It was an iterative process, and I was able to give my feedback with each iteration. Ultimately, he produced a logo and some branding materials for our organization.
Our current project is similar in scope to the first one, but for a startup that I’m associated with. I basically asked Hugh to do the same thing again. We’re actively working with him now to design a logo and branding materials.
What is the team composition?
I only work with Hugh.
How did you come to work with Enockson Design?
I found Enockson Design through a simple Google search. We basically wanted somebody who was in the area and had good reviews. I looked at various people’s portfolios and made a shortlist of those whose styles I liked. I reached out to them, but I ultimately went with Enockson Design. The quality of the work they’ve done sold me on him.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent about $1,000 per project.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in January 2020, and it’s an ongoing engagement.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I’m happy with Enockson Design’s work. I’ve been using the logo on my LinkedIn profile, invoices, documents, and presentations. I’ve gotten positive feedback, mainly because of how professional it looks and how accurately it represents our company. It’s hard to put a metric around it, but it helps us present ourselves professionally.
How did Enockson Design perform from a project management standpoint?
It’s been such a great experience working with them. The team does exactly what they say they’re going to do. Whenever they set a deadline, they follow it and deliver things promptly. Their design ideas are always on the money because they take the time to listen to what we want through the iterative process. Overall, Hugh is very professional. I’m satisfied with our engagement.
In terms of communication, we use a combination of phone calls, text messages, and emails. It depends on what we need to accomplish at that particular moment.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The quality of their work is the most impressive; it’s noticeable how high-end the designs are. They’re able to get a lot of high-quality work done in a relatively short amount of time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I’ve never had a negative experience with Enockson Design.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I recommend working with Hugh, especially if you’re a startup. The more information you can provide during the discovery phase, the better they’ll do at creating a logo and branding that is fit for you.

Marketing & Branding Services for HR Software Company
“They’re able to produce assets on time and schedule every month.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing and sales leader for a software company. We design and market HR information systems.
What challenge were you trying to address with Enockson Design?
We’re a small company, so we don’t have enough resources to handle all of our marketing tasks. Additionally, we were looking for a redesign of our brand. We brought in Enockson Design to help us with our branding and, subsequently, with ongoing marketing efforts.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, Enockson Design helped us refresh the look and feel of our brand. They helped us to better fine-tune who our target buyers were and understand them. They were able to turn that information into a brand that would appeal to those buyers.
Then, Enockson Design helped us develop brand elements that we wanted to incorporate into everything we did. Those elements included a new website, a logo, and templates for email marketing. For the website, they created the design, and our developers incorporated that design into our WordPress platform.
Currently, Enockson Design offers ongoing assistance and maintenance to our website, and they develop branding elements when needed. They help us with Facebook ads to generate leads from there, and they manage our email marketing in our MailChimp platform. They’re also developing a monthly newsletter and a blog.
What is the team composition?
We've worked with three people from their team: Hugh (Owner), an individual who helps us with research, and a writer.
How did you come to work with Enockson Design?
I’ve worked with Enockson Design three times in my career over the last 15 years. Initially, for this project, we were looking for a bigger firm. However, we found out that as soon as we went with a bigger firm, we got handed off to junior people — it felt like a waste of money.
I came back to Hugh, introduced him to the rest of my team, and it turned out to be a much better experience. We’re now working with the principal. We’re receiving all his knowledge and experience instead of being bait and switch, which is a challenge in most marketing agencies.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2020, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We now have a brand that our existing customers and new prospects seem to relate to — that’s very positive. However, it’s really hard to determine the impact of our engagement because measuring branding is difficult. We’re a startup software company in a very competitive environment.
We could judge metrics based on how many conversions, demos, and contacts we have, but we aren’t meeting what we need yet. It’s hard to determine whether it is because of Enockson Design’s work or the difficulty to scratch out any type of awareness in a highly saturated market.
From the deliverables standpoint, we’re very pleased with Enockson Design’s work. As we’re a small team, it’s impossible for us to keep up with everything. They’re able to produce assets on time and schedule every month. When we roll out new pieces of functionality for our product, they stay in synchrony with our development team and update the website. When we’re ready to announce, everything is ready to go — they’re keeping pace on what we need.
The team also ensures that we have consistent information and content being placed into the market — that’s really valuable. As a startup, we need to demonstrate consistency over time.
How did Enockson Design perform from a project management standpoint?
For project management, Hugh and I have monthly meetings. We sit down and review a monthly calendar where we fine-tune what we need and set what the deliverables for that month will be in advance. So far, we’ve been pleased with their ability to meet deadlines.
For communication, I chat and email with Enockson Design on a daily basis, and we communicate through Zoom and Google Hangouts at least once a week.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Enockson Design’s openness in terms of meeting expectations and keeping them realistic is impressive. We know they’re working hard on the things they do and continue to see that the quality of their work is consistent — that gives us a lot of confidence.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It has been difficult for us to find people that have PPC and SEO capabilities. It would be helpful if Enockson Design had resources or contacts to work in those areas, but I know it’s difficult to find people qualified for it.
Any advice for potential customers?
Try to understand exactly what you’re looking for and have it well defined before you start — that will help set the expectations. Hugh is very good at telling you what he can and cannot do.

Branding, Content Writing & Web Design for Woodwork Company
"Their design quality has been impressive."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the owner of the company, and we do custom woodworking such as kitchens, built-ins, custom furniture, and more.
What challenge were you trying to address with Enockson Design?
We hired Enockson Design to provide a new brand identity package that would allow us to charge an accurate price to our customers.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The collaterals they’re creating are our logo and website. The team is mainly in charge of our web design efforts, and they're trying to get our platform to the next level — it's about to launch in a week or two. The Enockson team is also in charge of creating content for our platform, and they’re crafting a new company name for us.
To develop all our requirements, they focus on exactly what we’re doing, what our company is about, who our customers are, and so on. There are always things to add all the time so our plans have been evolving as the partnership grows.
What is the team composition?
We work with Hugh (Owner).
How did you come to work with Enockson Design?
I knew Hugh for a long time, and he had a great portfolio. Hugh’s design work was also superb, and he had the ability to be logical and creative at the same time. As a result, we worked with Enockson Design on past projects, and we decided to collaborate with them again based on their performance.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent $4,500.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership began in June 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The web design is very good, and it’s better than I thought it was going to be. Hugh has designed it based on what he knows about our company, and he has meshed all the principles he learned into our logo.
We appreciate that the team places great importance on both design and function. On a scale of 1 to 10, I have to say their service is almost perfect just because I don’t think anybody would get a perfect score. The collaboration has been going well, and Enockson’s quality of work has been excellent.
How did Enockson Design perform from a project management standpoint?
They typically reach out through email and text, and usually, the emails contain easy-to-understand questions. Since we’re familiar with each other, Hugh knows how I operate, and he knows exactly what I need to keep moving forward. Overall, he picks up the ball and goes with it when he needs to.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their design quality has been impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I have no suggestions on areas they could improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Don't hesitate to work with Enokcson Design. If you look at several designers, sometimes their work is great, but their ability to deliver takes a long time. Our six months partnership with Enockson Design is on me because they could’ve done our projects a lot faster, but they've been waiting for information from me.

Property Information Binders for Real Estate Company
“From a project management standpoint, they were excellent.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a principal in a firm that does real estate development and makes real estate property investments.
What challenge were you trying to address with Enockson Design?
We have a 2,100-acre master plan community that was recently annexed and zoned to a municipality in the metro area. I needed a subject matter expert (SME) to create a property information binder that aggregated all of the practical and important information regarding the property.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The binder I needed was like a "property bible" discussing the nature of the annexation and zoning of the property as well as how it was planned. The property in question was undeveloped, and it was ultimately sold to a large builder or developer.
As such, the binder served as an aggregation of all crucial data for the prospective purchaser to have one repository of information about everything that we did on the property. We supplied all the data, and Enockson put together the binder.
What is the team composition?
We only worked with Hugh (Owner).
How did you come to work with Enockson Design?
Hugh worked for me many years ago, and he was then employed by another firm in the metro area. When I needed to get this particular work done for this project, I called him.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent a total of $5,000. We ordered three binders, and each binder cost around $1,200
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from March 2020–March 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic slowed down a lot of things, but under normal conditions, the project would have taken only about six months.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The binders were a work of art; they were a beautiful presentation of all the work that we did on the project. We’ve handed them off to the prospective purchaser.
It’s very unusual for someone like me who does land entitlements to assemble a repository of information for all of our properties. However, going forward, it will be convenient for prospective purchasers to have these binders. They contain all the important information that would be of interest to buyers navigating their due diligence process.
How did Enockson Design perform from a project management standpoint?
From a project management standpoint, they were excellent. We communicated through emails and in-person meetings.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Four things stood out as the most impressive things about working with Enockson. First, Hugh was a perfectionist. Second, he took a great deal of pride in his work. Third, he had a great breadth and depth of experience across many businesses for which he has worked as a graphic artist. Finally, he was eclectic; because of his experience, he could merge inputs from very different industries and create the best outcome for the project.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there weren’t any.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Understand and appreciate the depth of Enockson’s experience as well as the pride that Hugh takes in his work. Let him do his job — you can share your thoughts with him, but you should also allow him to exercise his creative juices.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
BSI Designs is a B2B company that fabricates large-scale kitchen areas for commercial spaces. I work at the company as the director of marketing and product development.
What challenge were you trying to address with Enockson Design?
Catering to a niche market can be extremely competitive, so we were looking for a way to make our company stand out. Redesigning our marketing collateral seemed like the best way to position our brand as the leading source for innovation.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Enockson Design is the talent behind most of our marketing collateral. We have used their designs in our brochures, direct mail, trade show displays, and various other material. They also helped us create environmental graphics for our new office space.
The development process is different for each project. For print material, I send them a mock-up of what I expect to see on each page. We often go back-and-forth over the word count, but we always end up finding a good balance. They then create a few designs that align with our model, and we choose the best one. For our trade shows, we give them more creative control.
What is the team composition?
Enockson Design’s owner is our only point of contact.
How did you come to work with Enockson Design?
We reached out to quite a few small, independent graphic design agencies, but Enockson Design was the only candidate that truly understood our vision.
How much have you invested with them?
We have them on retainer, which costs us about $6,000 each month.
What is the status of this engagement?
They have been working with us since 2014.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Last year, we ranked number one against all of our competitors in image brand awareness, quality materials and memorabilia, recall retention, and overall brand development. We owe a lot of our success to Enockson Design’s contributions. From a design perspective, their work has improved our environment tremendously. Every piece of work that they create blends together beautifully and reinforces our brand narrative.
How did Enockson Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Enockson Design is great at keeping both of our teams on track. At the beginning of each year, we sit down with them and map out all of our major projects; we have similar meetings at the beginning each month to scope out the proposed timeline for the month. We often send them last-minute tasks, but they never have difficulty delivering work within the deadline.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Enockson Design is in a league of their own. All of today’s designers are proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, but Enockson Digital is one of the few agencies that has extensive knowledge in design elements like typography, composition, and images. Enockson Design may be the only graphic designer who understands how to write strong copy. I consider them to be a designer’s designer because they deliver everything that you expect from a high-end creative vendor.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We are incredibly happy with the results that we get from using their work. They have been working with us for so long that they know exactly what our audience wants to see.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Our partnership with Enockson Design is successful because we have complete trust in their expertise. Their ideas always generate better results than our own.

Web Dev and Branding for Registered Investment Advisory Firm
“Whenever I had questions, I got a response right away.”
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I own a registered investment advisory firm (RIA).
What challenge were you trying to address with Enockson Design?
I initially hired Enockson Design to launch my firm’s website. I brought them on a second time to relaunch my site, rebrand my business, and provide marketing consultation services.
What was the scope of their involvement?
A few years after Enockson Design released my first website, I decided to restructure my firm. I reached out to their team, and we had substantive discussions about rebranding my practice.
During these meetings, we spoke about a variety of branding elements, including the name of my firm, the tagline underneath the name on my site, my company logo, and the design of my email signature. After gathering my requirements from these conversations, they relaunched the website with new branding that matched the changes I’d made to my business.
What is the team composition?
I worked primarily with Hugh (Creative Director, Enockson Design).
How did you come to work with Enockson Design?
Hugh and I have known each other for years. Our connection was initially personal but became professional when I realized that his work was of interest to me from a business perspective
What is the status of this engagement?
We launched the initial version of the site in 2012, and the relaunch occurred in 2015. I’ve stayed in touch with Enockson Design and plan to go back to them for additional work.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Feedback regarding the first version of the site ranged from positive to very positive. Enockson Design structured the website to place my writing at the forefront, and this attracted an array of clients. A number of these new clients specifically cited my writing as their reason for contacting me. In addition to their web development, Encokson Design’s branding and marketing consultation have strengthened my business in ways that go far beyond the site itself.
How did Enockson Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Their work was excellent, and their time management was very good. Whenever I had questions, I got a response right away. We communicated primarily through email and had calls on occasion.
Enockson Design worked with a third-party vendor, and their collaboration was always seamless. In several rare cases where security problems came up, both vendors were quick to respond and resolve those issues.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The primary differentiating factor for Enockson Design is their willingness and capacity to position themselves as a branding partner, as opposed to merely a web and graphic designer. Our discussions were substantive regarding the values that I wanted my brand to project, and I felt that their branding advice was beyond that of a traditional web design initiative. Hugh frequently initiated broad conversations about my brand and was able to substantiate that dialogue through the long term
Their distinguished status comes in part from their ability to predict and highlight market trends. A few years ago, Hugh approached me and suggested that I make my site mobile friendly. I decided not to go that route, because, at the time, it was not obvious to me that having a mobile-friendly website would be so closely tied to its overall traffic. That link is crystal clear today, so I give him credit for being ahead of me in terms of recognizing that shift.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I don’t think so, and I’m sure that they will continue to evolve as the industry changes.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CTO and founder of Auric Systems.
What challenge were you trying to address with Enockson Design?
We needed a designer to build out our website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They presented me with a full plan of development and a corresponding marketing strategy. Hugh (Owner, Enockson Design), explained how to activate these plans and incorporate them into the site.
What is the team composition?
I only worked with Hugh; he was my one-stop-shop for this project.
How did you come to work with Enockson Design?
I found Hugh through a web search for local designers. I assessed two other designers beforehand whose pricing was well above their value. After meeting Hugh, I could tell that he was professional and well-suited for the job.
How much have you invested with them?
I’ve invested $7,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working together in October 2018, and our engagement is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Hugh has helped me prepare for several presentations over the past several months and has attended numerous conferences. I appreciate how he makes himself available to assist me and answer questions about the website.
How did Enockson Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Hugh and I communicate over text, email, and phone. He is excellent about managing my project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Hugh is a consummate professional and is always putting his best foot forward.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, none come to mind at this time.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would suggest future clients use Enockson Design over anyone else.

“People love Enockson Design’s work; it’s world-class.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m a British-born architect working in the US for the last 40 years. My philosophy revolves around how design can benefit my clients. I’m a registered architect in the state of Colorado and the UK. For the past 10 years, I’ve had my own consultancy. I’m a designer and architect, although I’m not registered in New York. I serve representing ownership on projects, which is a fairly rare opportunity for an architect—to provide not only his design abilities but also protect them against differing design positions on a project.
What challenge were you trying to address with Enockson Design?
In my business, I need to communicate effectively with both current and potential clients. Our challenges or goals are effective communication in an era of noise. They needed to create a branded online identity for me in the form of a website, which would encourage people to engage with me and give them a sense of my work.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Enockson Design has built two websites for me, and we’re working on a third one now. I provided the images and most of the copy on the site.
Enockson Design began with a discovery process in an effort to understand my goals and challenges. The site they built for me five years ago adapted itself based on the device it was being accessed from. They built a completely custom, responsive website which was, at the time, pushing the boundaries.
We’re currently working on fine-tuning my new website. We’re presenting what I do in a simple and effective way. Now, more so than on my past two sites, we’ve been working on how to cut through the clutter and noise. I’m trying to position myself in an uncontested marketplace by identifying things that I do that other people do not do, which strengthens my position. The current version of the website works like a hybrid or almost an app. All the coding on it was custom.
For the next iteration of the site, Enockson Design is working on incorporating a sophisticated level of internet marketing tools.
What is the team composition?
I deal with Hugh (Owner, Enockson Design), and I like it that way. He has an excellent sense of graphic design in terms of balance and visual from many years of experience. Hugh uses a partner for coding who’s been working for him for more than 15 years.
How did you come to work with Enockson Design?
I’ve known Hugh for about 30 years. We worked together at a company in Boulder.
How much have you invested with them?
It was around $6,000–$7,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Hugh created the first website for me in 2004 or 2005. Enockson Design updated the site in 2013 or 2014, which is the one that is live now.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
People love Enockson Design’s work; it’s world-class. It’s done what I needed it to do; it corroborates what I do.
How did Enockson Design perform from a project management standpoint?
Hugh is in Denver, and I’m in New York, but we meet when I’m in town, and we email. In terms of the work, it’s gone well for me. It’s been an evolution.
What did you find most impressive about them?
What is notable about Enockson Design is their determination and persistence to get something right. Few have been able to create something that’s worked well for me. The branding side requires understanding the person for whom the site is being built. It’s been a matter of valuable repeat referrals and long-term relationships.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I haven’t experienced any areas of concern.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
Clients should explain their requirements clearly because we get as good a result as the information we give to Enockson Design. Hugh’s good sense goes beyond website and graphic design; he also understands branding, which is tremendously important to anyone building a site.
After Enockson Design delivered logo and branding designs that accurately represent the company, the satisfied client hired them again. An iterative process allows them to produce consistently high-quality designs at a cost-effective price. Overall, the team is a reliable and communicative partner.
