Introduce your business and what you do there.

I am a business development and office manager at a sales representative company. We manage the Latin American sales for a German paper manufacturer. I am responsible for internal operations and I support our sales team in the field.

How did you come to work with Endive?

I originally found them from freelancer.com after putting out an ad. I was very hesitant to go with an individual in case there was a task that was out of their scope. I really like the fact that Endive had a team of people with multifaceted areas of expertise.

What challenge were you trying to address with Endive

We had some fairly long-standing, lingering corrections and overall disorganization of our Salesforce platform, and it needed to be cleaned up.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

I asked them to add objects and fields and do custom programming and automation. They also setup organizing rules and flow triggers within the system. Their work was quite complex, and I was very pleased that they were able to handle our requests. We also hired them to do an additional project for a complete analysis of our Salesforce organization.

How much have you invested with them?

We have spent about $5,000 so far.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

Now we can do everything we wanted to do with our lead system. We now have 100% visibility and tracking capability of our leads process and system, which we didn't have before. This has made a tremendous impact. The users also have confidence in the system.

How did Endive perform from a project management standpoint?

I worked with Rishi Gandhi, he was my project manager. We interacted usually every morning on skype and would touch base and see if we had any issues. He would then get his team in place in the room and we'd all go through the pending questions, issues, and topics. I also worked with Jaya. She has been the key to the flawless customer service and following up from the quoting stage all the way through too project delivery.  I can't say enough about how vital she has been throughout the process.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I was very impressed with their turnaround time. We've worked with local companies in the United States that would take months to get something done that Endive can complete within 24 or 48 hours.  I was also impressed with their value and cost-effectiveness. Again, working with companies in the United States, I was paying over $175/hr for a job that Endive can deliver much more cost-effectively and much more efficiently. Their work has been a game changer.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I really can't think of anything. It's really gone quite smoothly so far, just as we’ve expected.

What is the status of this engagement?

I started working with Endive in March 2017, and we have an ongoing collaboration. I plan to build additional features in 2–3 months, after the launch of the application.

Could you share any evidence that would demonstrate the productivity, quality of work, or impact of the engagement?

We are going to start a 1-month testing process for the app. At the moment, from what I’ve seen, Endive is a good developer.

How did Endive Software perform from a project management standpoint?

I gained experience from my previous collaboration with a developer and prepared a list of what I needed, which Endive was easily able to understand and develop. They assigned a project manager with good communication skills, which made understanding each other easy.

What did you find most impressive about Endive Software?

They analyzed my previous application and suggested helpful additions. Compared to our other vendor, the Endive team was more interactive, and they had previous experience with similar apps. The pricing was reasonable too.

I had a client who had a roommate matching website another company had built for them. They came to us because it wasn’t built correctly or functioning well. We spent months rebuilding that site and created a lot of success within that project.

Endive was a part of the whole process. They rewrote the code, suggested different Software-as-a-service architectures for the site and then implemented everything. They integrated Facebook and a couple other social media plugins. We’ve used Endive for 3–4 different projects.

I searched on one freelancer site for a company that could help us with work we couldn’t handle but didn’t want to turn down.

Could you provide a sense of the size of this initiative in financial terms?

The project was around $8,500.

We started working with them in December 2016 and finished in March 2017.

We had one meeting in the morning and another in the evening and followed up on pending issues. We would work off a requirement stock, and we would go through the list one by, marking items as completed.
