Please describe your company and your position there.
I’m was the Director of Vendor Managed Inventory at a company specializing in Industrial Distribution of Hydraulic Components. I was responsible for all aspects of growth for the program across 30 branch locations within the Western US.
For what projects/services did your company hire Encite Branding + Marketing + Creative?
We enlisted encite to lend expertise and hands-on support to increase our reach, audience, brand awareness, and engagement through brochure production, smart copywriting and storytelling.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed to evaluate our communications footprint, including marketing materials, visual storytelling, and company practices.
How did you select this vendor?
research and reviews
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
encite started the engagement with an audit and competitor analysis. After setting milestones and identifying goals, they assisted us with message vetting, provided recommendations for creating engaging content and helped us refine our advertising tactics.
What was the team composition?
The two principles we had contact with were Adam and Jeff. They communicated with us throughout the entire lifespan of our partnership, were extremely professional, responsive and insightful.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our engagement has grown by a wide margin. We will continue to implement the best practices that we learned from working with encite.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
encite was very easy to work with, and we found them to be enthusiastic and dedicated. Their recommendations were well thought out, and they were consistent in their execution of both daily tasks and long-term projects.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
encite valued our individuality. Instead of making assumptions about our business, they took the time to get to know us and used that information to craft a successful strategy. They’re open-minded, flexible, candid, and their approach was both refreshing and effective.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Like with any new business relationship, there were a few speed bumps, but we quickly figured out the most effective way to utilize their expertise.

Beta Health: Brand Hierarchy and Visual Identity
Objectives
Beta provides leading dental solutions to groups, employers, individuals and families. They have remained steadfast in their focus to offer high quality products and exceptional service to all of their members.
The objective concerned Beta’s need to redefine themselves as an entity, and to not just be known for one of their products -the Alpha plan. The issue was that people recognized the Alpha plan, but not Beta Health. We wanted to establish a brand hierarchy and define brand equity, ideally leading to less confusion, improved user experience and website accessibility for the end consumer.
Strategy
A few of the main adjectives and descriptors we felt described the brand after our collaborative session were “care”, “authority”, “powerful”, “necessary”, “superiority” and “affordability”.
When we were working on concepts for their updated logo, we wanted to use their word mark as a sort of visual metaphor for a “path to” somewhere, once again highlighting the idea of simple, smooth connection with their target audience.
We felt it was important for all the deliverables to drive the larger message of Beta home, which is why we developed a Brand and Style Guide as well. We knew we needed to create a consistent and unified brand identity for Beta, because the spoken, written and visual language all work to support the message and promise of who they are as a company, a culture and an evolving brand.
Audience
In general, the typical Beta customer is a blue-collar type. They might work in an industry with income disparity and diverse employee needs, meaning they don’t have access to dental care in a typical insurance plan. They are likely to be lower-income and under- or even completely uninsured.
Beta wants their customers to feel like dental care is accessible, and that Beta isn’t just offering a cheap option - they’re offering a good value. Even beyond customer service, Beta has elevated what they do for their customers to a level of customer care.

Rocky Mountain Wireline: Brand Strategy Developmen
Objectives/Unique Selling Proposition
RMWS’ unique selling proposition included many facets, but at the end of the day we found that it boiled down to “Striving to Be the Golden Standard”. Customers know that RMWS is trustworthy, reputable and offers quality service. Every time.
Strategy
To further elevate their brand value, we sat down with leaders from RMWS for our proprietary one-day enciteful™ Session – an opportunity to cultivate strategic, meaningful ideas all in the name of enhancing the brand.
After the session, we developed a Brand Brief consisting of a complete SWOT Analysis, Industry Report, Experiential Mapping Report, Customer Profiles, Brand Vision, Brand Position, Brand Difference, Brand Benefit and Brand Promise.
After completing work on these messaging deliverables, we decided that logo re-development was the logical next step in our process. We wanted to focus on RMWS’ desire to be more green and environmentally-conscious. We felt our addition of the leaf icon to their visual identity was a subtle way to speak to their sustainability story.
We kept their red and yellow brand colors consistent, because they already had a significant amount of brand awareness tied to the existing color scheme that we didn’t want to lose. We also developed a supplemental “badge” logo since they use promotional products as a large part of their gifting program with clients.
Target Audience
The RMWS target audience was broken into three pieces: the guys they were selling to, potential employees, and the general public that lived in the areas that they were working.
We created ideal customer personas to represent these people, and give RMWS a more clear picture of the targets they were trying to reach.
Results
Work for RMWS was a success and received a lot of positive feedback from employees and the general public alike. After unveiling the new brand identity and applying it across the company’s communication touch points, RMWS engagement grew by a wide margin.

MINA Group: Brand Strategy
The MINA Group is an award-winning restaurant group headed by Chef Michael Mina that has built success on a foundation of selflessness and adaptability that is reflected in a dining experience that has been artfully curated – from the food on your plate to the feeling you have when you walk out the door at the end of the night.
Every day, The MINA Group strives to be better and improve – yes, every single day. They are obsessive when it comes to their craft, and obsessive has its advantages. You will know that you made the right choice when you decide to visit one of their restaurants.
The restaurant group needed to redefine their brand architecture, and was seeking an advertising agency that was equipped to help them do so. The goal was to determine what marketing elements should be changed, and to develop new, tangible resources to reflect internal positioning changes.
Another objective was to define how to represent the brand visually while still keeping brand awareness of Michael as a chef top of mind. We didn’t want to erode the fine dining perception The MINA Group had cultivated while moving into the delivery and fast-casual space, but instead leverage that brand equity in the MINA name to give the fast-casual concepts credibility and awareness.

Regis University: Logo Development
The objective was to set up a mix of marketing material including a new logo, social media, direct mail, email, promotional posters and more, ultimately working with Regis to merge several existing alumni events into one large alumni weekend: Blue & Gold Weekend- Regis, Then and Now.
Strategy:
Our most pressing task was to develop and event logo for the weekend, so we started with what was already at our disposal. Regis design components like the trinity triangle symbol (or shield) made the event logotype feel more consistent, cohesive and congruent. Along with adding these design components, we explored visual metaphors for time, as well as showing the type treatment for “Then & Now” overlapping to suggest coming together as a community and visually relating to many of the other Jesuit tenants and historical design references.
Target Audience
The main target audience for Regis was alumni and other University stakeholders.
Results
We began working with Regis in early 2020, with the official event being slated to take place in September. Unfortunately, it had to be canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but our team was able to pivot our strategy and take the event online. Overcoming the constraints of social distancing, Regis adapted to the trend of virtual alumni events and successfully hosted its first virtual alumni reunion. People seemed eager to have the chance to connect- in fact, we received almost 150 RSVPs in the first week the event was announced alone. The virtual reunion was a huge success as it offered Regis alumni the much needed opportunity to bond with their friends and larger alumni community during some extremely testing times.

Sonsio: Brand Development and M&A Strategy
Sonsio offers a comprehensive lineup of Vehicle Protection plans, industry-leading programs that cover Tire, Road Hazard Protection, Parts & Labor Warranties, Mechanical Advisory, Appearance, and other critical consumer services. These benefits provide vehicle owners with affordable coverages to keep their vehicles on the road safely, and also maximize the resale value by keeping the appearance of those vehicles like-new.
Sonsio was working to extend their reach as a leading provider of vehicle protection and warranty programs by merging with Evolution, Dent Wizard’s F&I vehicle protection division. The combined company needed to find a way to operate under one brand, which is where Encite came in.
We begain with our enciteful™ planning session, a one-and-a-half day process in which we brought the Sonsio team together to cultivate strategic, meaningful ideas, from which the brand was enhanced. The session not only allowed us to immerse ourselves into both companies’ businesses, but also helped us to understand their overall business goals, key competitors, and their strategic platform for the future. We identified that the main deliverable was brand architecture, and how we present the new merger of both companies. We discovered what kind of brand equity and awareness each business had and identified the direction in which to go. In addition, we performed market research within the target audience to confirm our strategic direction. The master brand, Sonsio, had the most equity and was the logical choice to go with. We began the work to develop architecture that was simple, memorable, and easy to evolve if the client were to expand their product/service offerings. The strategy was to use Monolithic Brand Architecture which emphasizes a single master brand that sits over the other brands within an organization. This is a particularly good option when the products are in the same category or offer a similar set of benefits, which was true in Sonsio’s case

Help On Demand: Marketing Funnel
The objectives of our work with HOD included setting up logical, successful process to collect, develop, nurture and close new business, as well as created content marketing, social media messaging, an integrated campaign that would help facilitate communication with HOD’s target audience, and development of creative collateral to be used across different channels. Most of our messaging centered around our marketing campaign called “FOMO”, or the “fear of missed opportunities”.
We began by conducting a thorough review of HOD’s marketing activities and existing assets. Then, we built our comprehensive strategy around an integrated sales funnel including lead generation, content marketing, direct mail, drip email, an email newsletter, webinars, social media posts, Google Ads, and more.
Our email drip campaign encompassed messages like “Take the leap!” and “It’s never too late!” to encourage our audience to engage with HOD and increase their chances of connecting with leads. We also felt it was important to give our target audience concrete numbers and real-life success stories from industry leaders who have benefitted from HOD’s system and the technology behind it. This led us to develop a case study that outlined key learnings, success metrics and insights from one of HOD’s largest client industries – health insurance.

Vitelity Advertising Campaign
Vitelity is a company specializing in wholesale VolP solutions for resellers of their products and services focusing on both businesses and end consumers.
We needed to make a statement, drive awareness, and increase interaction with their customer base.
Vitelity needed posters, stand-up displays to use for event marketing purposes, and a website redesign with a new branding effort to make sure that their newly-established look and feel was consistent across all of their marketing materials.
The two things that set Vitelity apart from their competitors are experience and longevity. They have a rich history, and having been in the business communications industry for over a decade, they boast an impressive amount of expertise. Additionally, they have technology that provides them with a competitive advantage, allowing them to deliver complex communications A consistent marketing approach starts with a branded visual identity. Our task was to help Vitelity define what their company goals were so that they could reach their target market more effectively. We did this by developing a brand and style guide, so that Vietlity could see where their brand was currently, where it was going, and how their marketing materials could help them reach more potential clients.

Pickens Technical College Integrated Marketing
Pickens Technical College (PTC) is a community college located in Aurora, Colorado. It offers students the chance to learn the skills they’ll need to pursue a successful career in anything from graphic design to automotive repair and everything in between. PTC’s philosophy is to let its students learn by doing the things they’ll be expected to do once they enter the workforce.
We were tasked with developing an integrated marketing plan for PTC that allowed them to connect with prospective students and explain the benefits of the technical college framework – a quicker path to a degree, experienced instructors, and hands-on learning opportunities. Our plan incorporated content marketing, social media campaigns, and more.
Along with our marketing campaign, we developed the materials to promote it. This included printed marketing materials, a revamped website, and even apparel.

Advanced Vision Technologies Trade Show Marketing
AVT is a unique contact lens manufacturer that combines real-world experience with expert consultation to meet the most challenging contact lens demands. They specialize in the innovative design of premium and specialty contact lenses, providing optometrists with exceptional products and support.
AVT needed tradeshow graphics for the Global Specialty Lens Symposium (GSLS), a conference focused on the management of ocular conditions using specialty contact lenses and continued education efforts. Since this was the biggest show of the season, it was very important that AVT make a splash that introduced their new design system, drove awareness, increased prospects within their sales funnel, and provided events in a fun, stress-free environment.
AVT differentiates themselves by providing contact lenses that are not required to have a fitting set, which results in less time needed to fit the lenses. This ultimately results in cost savings for the target market as they spend less time on each patient. They also wanted to communicate a secondary message that their lenses ensure OD’s have an easier time fitting, inserting and removing the product on the patient. This results in a patient who has less anxiety, pain, and is ultimately more satisfied with the entire process, resulting in a better brand image for both optometrists (ODs) and AVT.

Name and Visual Identity Development
Objectives/Unique Selling Proposition
The Denver North Business Assocation are a membership-based organization which acts as a liaison between the community, developers and local government as the neighborhoods they serve continue to change and evolve. Their 60+ businesses are committed to driving the conversation regarding redevelopment and infrastructure improvements, while representing community concerns.
The business association needed to fully rebrand, and was seeking an advertising agency that was equipped based locally in Denver to help them do so. The goal was to determine what marketing elements should be changed, and to develop new, tangible resources to facilitate those changes. A new name, logo, video, mission and other marketing elements were what we ended up developing and presenting as our deliverables.
Strategy
We developed a new logo and identity based on a fundamental symbol of growth – the arrow. This represented the potential for growth in all directions. From increased membership to exciting redevelopment projects reshaping the landscape of the communities they represent, DeNo is no stranger to growth.
We also suggested a new name for the organization (previously known as the Elyria-Swansea-Globeville Business Association). We landed on DeNo after taking inspiration from other Denver-area neighborhoods. This felt more modern and seemed to reflect the constantly adapting nature of the areas DeNo works to represent.
Target Audience and Results
The main target audience for DeNo were the people and retail partners using the business association as their liaison for the larger community and city government. It is these people who make up DeNo and support its initiatives, so we quickly decided that we were focused on their interests.
The entire BOD was thrilled with the results, and DeNo is now positioned in a much better place to advance their organizing and recruiting efforts. The feedback from members and the local community was also well-received.

Objectives/Unique Selling Proposition
Our objectives concerned RMWS’ need to increase their reach, expand their audience, and develop brand awareness and engagement through production of marketing materials and spoken, written, and visual company language based around a redefined brand vision. I’m the Nominations Manager of Sequel New York. We are New York’s premier stallion roster. Our farm is more than 200 acres in Hudson, New York.
For what projects/services did your company hire encite branding + marketing + creative?
We turned to encite for help with print ads
How did you select this vendor?
We’ve done creative work with other companies in the past but we haven’t always been pleased with the outcome or results, so I researched online for well-reviewed companies. I found encite and sought them out.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
We began with a low-pressure introduction. encite answered all of my questions, told me how they could help based on their work with past clients, and set the expectations for the project moving forward. The team proceeded to take a look at what we were currently working with in terms of creative and past work, and started to determine which direction we should be moving in.
What was the team composition?
Adam (President) always keeps in touch with me and seeks my approval on all of the work that they produce. One of the graphic designers on staff takes care of executing the creative concepts. I work directly with those two people, but I’m aware that they have a larger team working in the background.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We’ve been very pleased with encite’s work that we’ve seen so far. Since they’ve been involved, we’ve seen a steady stream of creative, unique concepts come our way with a very short turnaround time. They’ve really helped us generate a considerable amount of awareness in a short amount of time.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We talk mostly through email when we need to follow-up or give progress updates. Adam’s quite responsive, and almost always answers my emails the same day.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their level of professionalism and focus distinguishes them from other providers. Getting ahold of them is never an issue, and they have been completely transparent with us when it comes to their method, approach and the progress of the project at hand. A lot of companies don’t have this “see-through” quality, but encite really keeps us in the loop. It’s a comfort to work with a company like them where we know we don’t need to worry about projects getting done.
Is there any area for improvement or anything that could have been done differently?
I can’t think of anything. I’m really happy with their work.

For what projects/services did your company hire encite branding + marketing + creative, and what were your goals?
encite is responsible for our email marketing outreach, and they handle the broadcast of all our email messages (among other smaller projects). We hired Encite for a full rebranding initiative of our business association. The goal was to determine what marketing elements should be changed and then for Encite to create new tangible resources.
How did you select this vendor?
We placed a RFP to the local community and heard from 6 groups interested in working with us. Due to a wonderful presentation, professionalism and a fit with our values, we decided to choose Encite to take on this project.
Describe the scope of their work in detail, including any steps and the final deliverables.
We asked the finalists to present to our group either through in-person or via a virtual presentation. Adam and his team at Encite prepared very well and customized the scope of their work for our association. They stood out from the rest. A new name, logo, video, mission and other marketing elements were created.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
1) this was Adam O’Leary, the President of encite branding + marketing + creative.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The entire board of directors was thrilled with the results as we now are placed in a much better place to advance our organizing. The feedback from members and the local community was also well received. We couldn’t be any happier with the project and how Encite works with us as a customer.

Adam and his team listened to our needs and followed up with timely results. His communication style is positive and direct.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the multimedia graphic design instructor at a technical school in Aurora, CO that offers a wide range of programs.
For what projects/services did your company hire Encite Branding + Marketing + Creative?
We hired encite to help us with video production and content development.
What were your goals for this project?
Our overarching goal was to increase our enrollment through social awareness and brand recognition. We had to stay top-of-mind with prospective students.
How did you select Encite Branding + Marketing + Creative?
Back in 2015, PTC interviewed several agencies, and based on their experience and skillset, the decision makers at the time believed they were the best equipped to help us reach our goals. We’ve been working with them ever since.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
They wrote the scripts, brought in all the production equipment, made the required edits, and worked in conjunction with the school’s marketing department to ensure that everything adhered to our brand standards.
What was the team composition?
I had day-to-day contact with the president (Adam), who was great. He managed the other people within the agency, specifically those who wrote the scripts and shot the video. He worked hand-in-hand with us to ensure our goals were synced and aligned. The entire team was very accessible and easy to work with.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
So far, our results have been great. We have kept our numbers steady, and implemented campaigns to capture more potential students’ attention through videos, social campaigns, and paid advertising.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
We have regular meetings, and everything has flowed smoothly.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I am impressed with the knowledge and dedication from Adam, who is the pseudo-manager of our account. He is very accessible and spends a lot of time assessing results, making recommendations, and challenging our thinking, all of which are, in my opinion, signs of a healthy business relationship.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Not as of now. We’re on the right path and we plan on sticking to it.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the Chief Executive Officer at a performance hydration beverage company.
For what projects/services did your company hire Encite Branding + Marketing + Creative?
encite developed a marketing campaign for us focusing on tactics like social media advertising, content marketing and creative collateral.
What were your goals for this project?
We needed to restructure our messaging for a different target market with respect to our SHIELD line of products all while not alienating our already brand loyal audience of high-level athletes and supporting overall revenue and business growth.
How did you select Encite Branding + Marketing + Creative?
We vetted a few other agencies, and encite’s strategic and tactical abilities were apparent.
Describe the scope of their work in detail.
encite started by doing a brand audit across all channels, identifying main pain points and growth areas. They reviewed their findings with us, and we determined what our highest priorities were. From there, a big part of the work was finding a way to restructuring our message without negatively impacting our existing audience. They developed creative and copy, and engaged in weekly catch-up sessions to collaboratively brainstorm, explain their thinking and keep us in the loop.
What was the team composition?
We worked closely with the President and his team, including a Creative Director and VP of Strategy.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We were very pleased with the messaging they developed. Although we were not able to move forward with the campaign, encite helped us zero in on our brand and pointed us in the right direction for future implementation.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication was effective. They were very responsive via email and available to Zoom. The weekly meetings were run efficiently and productively. The relationship was collaborative and we appreciated that they received feedback well.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
The entire team had a very strong sense of strategic and tactical knowledge, which gave us a confidence in them that unfortunately you don’t always get when working with agencies. They were reliable, demonstrated efficient project management and quickly aligned themselves with our business goals. We never had any real issues.
Are there any areas for improvement?
We’ve been very satisfied with these guys. I can’t really think of anything that needs immediate improvement in terms of encite’s deliverables. We were really impressed.
