We have regular bi-weekly calls to make sure we are progressing and discuss any issues. In addition we have frequent email communication and often have short touch-base calls in between our regular calls.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the CEO of 3rd Eye Productions (3EP), an entertainment technology company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Elevate My Brand?
We needed a new marketing strategy for our existing trade show division as well as for our new venue that we were opening.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The range of Elevate My Brand’s services is vast. They conduct extremely thorough interview questionnaires to identify what we’re looking for and to determine our preferences for our current division and expansion — so that they can develop the best marketing plan for us. Some of their questions are meant to determine what we want for the business, determine our business’ current status, and recognize our short-term goals and long-term goals. After that, they put all of our ideas into a report and discuss it with us — ensuring that everything is clarified.
So far, they completed phase one where they presented their report regarding what we need for the project together with a competitive analysis. They also helped us set up our Google Analytics because we weren’t aware that our previous website designer never set that up. They’re now working on phase two where they’ll be tackling what’s listed on the report to help increase our visibility in our current industry as well as increase brand awareness for our new venue.
As part of that, they’ll do a complete overhaul of our website and manage our social media marketing efforts. On top of rebuilding the website, they’ll work with two other individuals and incorporate some elements such as our logo in our platform and social media accounts. They’ll also help us monitor metrics on Google Analytics. After that, they’ll proceed to phase three which involves maintaining our website, spearheading our SEO efforts, and creating content for our various social media platforms.

We’re collaborating with their main account manager and three support staff.
How did you come to work with Elevate My Brand?
I found Laurel’s (CEO) video, which she did with a company I was looking into to get my certification as a woman-owned business. Laurel was featured on that company’s website together with other female CEOs and executive owners, and they discussed their process. After I watched the video, I had my assistant contact Elevate My Brand. I eventually spoke with Laurel and a couple of people on her team.
My decision to move forward with them was because their CEO had a background in both experiential marketing and law — we found out that their CEO was a lawyer. Secondly, they weren’t an average marketing agency because they based their strategy on actual data. Third, they had the ability to create a marketing plan online and in-person, specifically focused on experiential marketing and not many people were well-versed in that.

What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in August 2021, and we continue to collaborate.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The microscopic details that they’re able to contribute can have a great impact on our business on a macro level, which shows their ability to transform a company from where they are to where they want to be — without a drastic overhaul of their current brand.
For me, that’s huge because I had other marketing companies that only wanted to recreate our company, but weren't willing to hear my vision. Elevate My Brand isn’t like that because their work is based on data analytics; they’re not just arbitrarily picking an advertising message that has no basis in real numbers or real data.
How did Elevate My Brand perform from a project management standpoint?
On our timeline, they would’ve been on par on schedule if we hadn’t shifted our timeline a couple of times. Communication is a huge part of our engagement. We communicate via email and video conference calls. We also share a Dropbox folder where we can enter files and upload information. I’ve had numerous calls with them not because they’re not doing what I want, but because I always have a lot of questions. They never have a problem answering our questions — they’re willing to answer all of them in order to get everyone on the same page.
Furthermore, they’re very supportive, and they want us to truly be comfortable and to know that they’re looking for our best interests. For example, when I shared my ideas with them, they brought some data that convinced me to shift my thoughts. Additionally, if I didn’t understand something in their report, they'd spend some time explaining it.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their level of communication and sincerity are impressive. We also like how they compile data that involves important information about our data analytics. More importantly, we like that they explain to us where our money is going.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I can’t think of anything they can improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be very informative and provide all the details about your project. As long as you do, you’ll get the most out of Elevate My Brand’s services. They’re very willing to work with other branding and marketing strategists — they have no issues collaborating and making sure that our company is on-brand in every aspect of our business.

Have worked with Elevate My Brand for many years across several firms. Hiring them was a very easy and straightforward decision.

The goal was to have EMB design several email blast templates from which we would choose one. We provided feedback along the way until we identified our favorite template. EMB was able to work well within our existing email blast platform so that we didn't have to change it.

Strong internal / external feedback from the deployment of the new email blast template.

I’m the head of marketing at Pushr, a company in the cannabis industry. We’re a multifaceted business with distribution and manufacturing functions. We’ll be going into cultivation, and our team will launch our own brand and dispensary.
What challenge were you trying to address with Elevate My Brand?
We needed help to get everything off the ground starting with our branding. Since we were a consumer-facing brand, we needed to have strong colors, logo, and packaging. These would allow us to roll out our company and dispensary with a compelling voice in the marketplace.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our engagement with Elevate My Brand started with discovery calls. We had conversations and brainstorming sessions with their team to figure out exactly what we wanted to do and how much we wanted to pay. From there, we started the development process. We had biweekly meetings with our dedicated account manager and the creative team that handled everything we were doing.
At present, we continue to work back and forth with Elevate My Brand for the iterations of our creative materials. We discuss strategies and tasks in the pipeline, and their team organizes things in such a way that we don’t start tasks too soon or too late. In other words, their task involves choreographing what we need to do according to the timeline.
We currently don’t work on SEO, social media, and email marketing, but our company plans to work on those down the line. Once we officially launch in 2022, we’re going to prepare our digital marketing strategies.

The quality of work we’ve experienced from Elevate My Brand has been great. They bring plenty of options to the table. The team presents multiple ideas to drill down exactly what we want, and they constantly revise them until they hit our goals. Overall, they’re highly collaborative, and their resources provide a wide range of options to choose from, which is truly helpful for our company.
How did Elevate My Brand perform from a project management standpoint?
Elevate My Brand’s project management is excellent. They’re highly organized, and everything is scheduled well. Moreover, they always ask us when updates or changes are coming down the pipeline. That way, they remain ahead of the curve; they’re truly intuitive. In addition to that, they always respond fast when we send them any feedback. When our team wants to update or change something, they’re quick to get on a call and schedule a meeting.
In terms of costs, the Elevate My Brand team always tries to be under our budget, providing us with choices. They don’t push us to constantly go over our budget by suggesting expensive ideas. Simply put, they always look for resourceful ways to cut costs. For tools, we use TAR, which is Elevate MY Brand’s proprietary task management platform.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Elevate My Brand is thorough in the way they work. They’re highly organized, fluid, creative, and collaborative. Moreover, the team is great at understanding what we want to convey with our brand. They ask the right questions and turn information into creative solutions that make us feel proud and excited.
Other marketing agencies simply run with our project without involving us, and that’s frustrating. By contrast, Elevate My Brand collaborates with us and effectively interprets the information that we give. Overall, it’s great to have a super collaborative team like them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there aren’t any. We haven’t had any negative feedback to give them; it’s been a positive experience since the beginning.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be prepared with exactly what you want to do. One of a marketing agency’s pet peeves is a client who’s confused or unclear about what direction they’re going. Clients that free-float around and figure things out as they go make it difficult for any agency to deliver stellar results. As a result, if you’re going to reach out to Elevate My Brand, have a good idea of who you are and what you want. These things can change as you go through the process with them, but at least you have a clear starting point.
On top of that, be extremely responsive. Their team is quick at giving you information and sending things for you to fill out, whether it’s paperwork or a marketing sheet. If you take a long time to get back to them, that’s going to prolong the process.

I was incredibly impressed with the amount of data I was presented after they did a 30 day assessment of Milk Jar's online presence, as well as 4 competitors. It was reassuring that we weren't just going to be shooting in the dark with our approach. I also appreciate the very structured approach to the relationship (bi-weekly check-ins, a detailed spreadsheet/Task Action Report).
