iOS and Android app for MovaCar
Movacar connects professional transport companies that need to drive rental cars from city to city in Germany and ordinary travelers who want to use those same routes. The Movacar mission is to bring these parties together with a win-win solution. Movacar is led by people who have many years of experience in the rental industry and know the business inside out.
Our main aspiration was to create a user-friendly, convenient app for an innovative service that is lucrative to both car rental companies and ordinary travelers.

Website development for Scholarcy
Scholarcy is an AI-powered article summarizer that helps find key facts faster in every document, article, or paper you may work with. Scholarcy summaries are a great way of keeping on top of the latest research. You’ll get more information than you would from an abstract or synopsis, without having to skim-read the full text straight away.
Our team developed a UX/UI design for the platform and worked on frontend development.

iOS and Android app and admin panels for GoClass
The Ein-des-ein team developed a mobile app (iOS and Android) and a whole ecosystem for GoClass - a service that helps users book sports classes all over the city with one subscription. Apart from the app, we created two web admin panels and a landing page.

Mirabello
Our goal here was to create a website that is easy to navigate, has a laconic style, and conveniently presents potential customers with all the information they need.
But we also created beautiful collages with country concepts to make the immigration idea even more attractive.

Smart Prospective | Real-Time Display Solution for Advertising Campaigns
Smart Prospective is a solution for real-time display advertising campaigns. This platform captures and transforms the physical store traffic.
When we started working on the case, we identified several issues that had to be tackled. The AI-powered targeting demanded an improved UX and UI design to help users conveniently work with ads and use the platform with confidence.
As a result, Smart Prospective obtained a new and improved UX/UI design that helped boost retention and create a better onboarding experience for new clients.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a Co-Founder at Coalist. We enable specialized digital service providers to cooperatively engage in larger client projects. Our goal is to leverage collective knowledge and skills and foster a healthy democratic system with independent associates, working in a network of other small companies, to engage in larger client projects.
For what projects/services did your company hire ein-des-ein?
We hired ein-des-ein to develop the brand identity and website for Coalist. Coalist is a community that helps get access to experts from independent small service providers and hire efficient teams to support tech projects.
How did you select this vendor?
Ein-des-ein reached out to us directly and we met in person in Zurich. We started working together shortly after that. We’ve enjoyed our collaboration so far.
Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.
In terms of brand, we wanted certain attributes to be present in visual communication: cooperative, joint force, union, unite small companies, together, democracy. As far as the website, we wanted clients to feel like it’s easy to find an external partner to support their IT team with external resources and contact us to provide a small brief.
We have two audiences: our Members and our clients. Members of the cooperative are small IT / UX service providers (companies) who would like to be part of a larger network and act united through one single legal entity (the cooperative). Clients like to do business with the cooperative and the underlying members of the cooperative. Usually, it’s larger clients with large procurement who like to work with larger companies and have additional securities for business continuity planning, etc. It was important that our brand was perceived well by both of the audience personas.
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
There were 5 people working on this project:
- 1 UX/UI designer
- 1 brand designer
- 1 full-stack developer
- 1 Project manager
- 1 QA engineer
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are quite satisfied as we now have a functioning website that attracts new clients. For example, the home page reflects our vision, what we are, and what is special about us. Also, our CI/CD is clearly communicating our values visually.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
The overall flow was very good. There were a couple of delays, but each time the ein-des-ein team resolved all the issues quickly and efficiently. As far as communication, we also had some small issues that were resolved and didn’t influence the overall output. In general, problems can occur, but it's a matter of how they get handled and how the team generates learnings. I was very happy with the measures taken after we provided feedback and the overall course of the project was steered always in the right direction.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
We really liked the design part of the project and the actual visualization of our ideas. Ein-des-ein is a young, capable and creative agency that definitely produces UX and visual design on an international and high-quality level.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
Maybe on the project management side, there could have been a few more involvements, but nothing major.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a co-founder & COO at Boataffair. Boataffair is a boutique yacht experience company, headquartered in Switzerland and offering luxury yacht charters in 60+ countries worldwide.
For what projects/services did your company hire ein-des-ein?
To support companies' expansion strategy and further establishing the brand in the premium, high-end segment of the global yacht charter market, we have hired ein-des-ein to assist with the front-end web design and a "facelift of the website" with a focus on UX/UI. We have completed two rounds of the redesign with the ein-des-ein team.
The visual representation was as important as the user friendliness as well as clear focus on various customer touchpoints throught the website and overall client experience. Clients in the high end segment have certain requirements which had to be reflected through both UI and UX. Ein-des-ein team also have prepared variousl printed and electronic marketing materials for us aligned with the new deisgn of the website.
What were your goals for this project?
Boataffair in -house web development team has created excellent functionalities and features. This needed to be translated into the ultimate smooth user experience and highly attractive visual representation to satisfy our brand's demanding clientele and increase conversion. Therefore we hired ein-des-ein to support the in-house tech team through enhancing UX and UI of the website to connect the excellent features and technologies with how they are presented to the end-user.
How did you select ein-des-ein?
Together with the CTO at Boataffair, we have clearly set out the goals and tasks we needed to be achieved in the UX/UI and the end goals we wanted to achieve. Based on that technical sheet, we then conducted a number of interviews with potential companies. Having spoken to the founder of ein-des-ein a couple of times, we were satisfied with his inquisitive mind, spontaneous ideas and overall the right fit for the company. Big bonus was the ability of them to collaborate closely with our CTO who was overseeing the whole project. We are still working with the ein-des-ein team on ad hoc tasks and enjoy our collaboration.
Describe the project in detail.
Full website redesign to support all the new features and functionalities introduced by the in-house tech team at Boataffair. Heavy UX and UI focus, improving the flow and ease of use for the clients to navigate the site. Additional focus on the mobile version of the site, as we do not have an app. Therefore the mobile version of the site needed to look & function on various device sizes as well as the desktop version without sacrificing the visuals.
What was the team composition?
We worked with a team of 5: 2 UX/UI designers, Frontend developer, QA manager, 1 graphic designer.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Having completed 2 stages of redesign to support companies strategy we have achieved great results with longer user sessions and much better client conversion rates. The boataffair website has a very distinctive recognisable style, which corresponds and reaffirms the brand's promise to deliver high-quality yacht experiences to the decerning clientele. We love how the design of the website and all the marketing materials aligns with the brand values and enhances brand recognition.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
On Boataffair side, I have overseen the project myself together with Boataffair CTO. We have had an initial few challenges at the start of the project as we are a demanding client and we value speed and accuracy. What we appreciated is how quickly ein-des-ein team adjusted to our speed, expectations, style and flow of work. Nothing has been a problem and their team is always happy to work on every bit of feedback we give them. All in all they worked very effectively together with our CTO to solve any potential challenges and achieve the end result with have envisaged at the start of the project
What did you find most impressive about this company?
What I have mentioned in the point above - ability to quickly adapt to our working and communication style. The team was always fast and eager to get feedback on board and adjust as necessary. It was light and fun to work together. Our CTO is a very seasoned professional and it was impressive to see how well the team learned and taken his knowledge on board to deliver great results for our project. They are quick learners, agile and have great ideas. We continue to work with them as we can count on fast and exact execution of all our tasks.
Are there any areas for improvement?
Life is all about learning and there are always areas of improvement. Having said that, I think the team is excellent and are constantly working on new ideas and incorporating the feedback we have provided.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am a Founder of a SAAS platform that helps integrate any B2B software with apps without coding. The service is free and helps simplify business processes and effectively organize the workflow.
For what projects/services did your company hire ein-des-ein?
I had some ideas and a vision of what I wanted the platform website and design to look like, but I hoped to find the right design team to improve on my ideas and to prepare the appropriate references. Apart from the website design, I relied on Ein-des-ein to develop a brand book with all the concepts described and ready for implementation to serve our long-term goals.
The most important part of the work was related to the UX/UI design for the core features of the platform. I had already prepared the mockups and needed ein-des-ein to carefully think through our platform engine.
What were your goals for this project?
I wanted to solve 3 core issues and get the following as a result of working with Ein-des-ein:
- Have a functioning multi-page website that reflected the company’s mission and goals and was user-friendly;
- Get a comprehensive brand book that would cover all our marketing needs in terms of visual representation;
- Develop a thoughtful UX design to support the platform engine using my mockups.
How did you select ein-des-ein?
I knew the founder, Michael, and was in contact with him for many years and could see his career progress. When I thought of reaching out to him, I knew that his team was already made up of really strong professionals who could deliver.
Describe the project in detail.
We started by discussing my vision in detail and how to realize the structure that I had in my head, but couldn’t draw it on my own. The Ein-des-ein team some great references that helped us find our unique style and identify all the design details important for the website.
After that, the work on the website and the brand book was pretty intense. There were many iterations when we discussed the logo and some core design elements that had to reflect the company’s mission. The ein-des-ein team thought through every page on the website and even helped with the social media visual instruments.
The most important and difficult part of the project was designing the platform’s features pages. Based on my mockups, the team created a design for the core platform features that include our automation builder that is at the heart of the service. The project lasted for approximately 5 months.
What was the team composition?
The team of 5 worked with us: 1project manager, 1 Art director, 2 UX/UI designers, and 1 illustrator.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
I will start by saying that after the project was done, my startup successfully raised money from the Ukrainian Startup Fund in a seed round. This was possible due to the visual attractiveness of the solution among other things.
Right now all the designs are implemented 100% and the platform successfully performs by helping thousands of users to integrate different apps and services.
Our brand style is now solid and we think that it reflects our identity well. Since we have a whole brand book at our disposal, we are quite self-sufficient.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Something I would like to emphasize is the patience and the high level of professionalism demonstrated by the team. As a business owner, I worked with many outsourcing companies and freelancers and often encountered issues if I proposed 2 or more edits.
The Ein-des-ein team never complained once about the iterations that were done or my comments about things that had to be changed or improved. It is quite difficult to find people who care about the relationship with the client and show respect on all levels instead of lashing out when they run into a difficult area or want to dismiss the client’s vision.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Like I mentioned before, I was really impressed with how well we communicated at all stages of the project. I must admit I could be quite annoying when it came to logos and wanted the perfect variant to become final. So I appreciate the team’s patience and professionalism when talking to me and hearing out all my concerns and ideas.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can’t think of anything. I hope they simply expand their expertise and can help more SAAS businesses like mine.

Please describe your company and your position there.
I am the co-founder of an a software start-up based in London that applies machine-learning to generate summaries of scientific and other academic research literature.
For what projects/services did your company hire ein-des-ein?
Our web app was launched in 2018 and since then we have seen substantial growth of our international subscriber base. Because we are a relatively small and lean startup, we didn't have the resources a couple of years ago to engage with a design agency for UX/UI expertise.
By the middle of last year, we knew that with more people using the app and our profile growing, we needed not only a slick, professional design to reflect the calibre of our technology, but also a more intuitive user experience that would help our users find valuable features more easily.
What were your goals for this project?
Our primary goals for this project were to make our app more visually appealing and enticing for university students and academic researchers; increase sign-ups; and most importantly, encourage our subscribers to use the app more frequently and for a longer period of time. We were also looking to increase our trial conversion rate.
How did you select ein-des-ein?
My co-founder was previously at a company that had worked with Max on a design project so we connected with him on LinkedIn.
The other design services we'd spoken to up until that point were not able to provide CSS and html to accompany their designs which was going to be a challenge for us.
We needed an agency that could deliver the whole package, but we were also working within a reasonably tight budget.
Describe the project in detail.
The project involved completely re-designing our web app user experience.
We spent some time talking to the team at Ein-des-ein about our business, the app and the ways we were looking to improve this, including making the overall user experience more intuitive, making some of the app features more obvious to users and simplifying some aspects of the app.
The team took all of this away and very quickly started work on a detailed page by page wireframing process. This was broken down into two-weekly sprints and in the early stages of the project we were meeting with the project manager and designer a couple of times a week to review progress.
At the end of this stage, they build a clickable wireframe and once this was approved, the re-design of the app interface began. Again, we collaborated very closely on this, providing information about the look and feel we were aiming for, colour schemes and other branding information.
Ein-des-ein were very helpful in providing a range of design suggesstions and options for us to choose from.
Once this design phase was completed the team then started producing all of the CSS and html for the app. The have managed the entire process start to finish.
What was the team composition?
Initially we worked with a small team: the project manager (Yegor) and a designer (Danil). This has since expanded to include some front end developers. The whole project was overseen by Maxim.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
We are still in the front end development phase of the web app project so it's too soon to comment on the results of this but we're very excited about launching the new design in January 2020 and anticipating positive feedback from our subscribers.
In parellel to this work the team at Ein-des-ein also helped us with some marketing web pages and social media design assets. They produced some very professional, striking designs and delivered on a really tight timeframe which was much appreciated.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Very effective. We have been really very impressed with the level of communication from the team at Ein-des-ein. They re-cap clearly after every meeting and are very transparent about what they are working on from one day to the next.
We were kept regularly up to date with progress and I was really impressed with the speed of their work.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
As above. Great communication, extremely productive and a genuinely nice group of people to work with. They gave us the advice we needed and made some great recommendations, but also listened very closely to our business goals and the needs of our customers.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I really can't think of any. I would recommend Ein-des-ein to any startup like ours needing either app design or web design.
The collaboration satisfied internal stakeholders. ein-des-ein created a functioning website that attracted new clients. The homepage reflected the company's vision and brand identity. The team's CI/CD clearly conveyed the company values visually.
