I am the director of the Women's Fashion Clothing Brand. We sell vintage and sustainable women's clothing online.
For what projects/services did your company hire Edifian, and what were your goals?
We are launching an international women's fashion clothing brand and we're looking for an agency to build our eCommerce website. We wanted a high-end website design and an agency that understands women's fashion and our brand values. We wanted to work with an agency we can partner with for a long time.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We found them through Clutch as the leading digital agency in New Zealand and we saw they have an extensive experience with eCommerce development helping brands succeed. We had a series of meetings with their team and other agencies. We looked at their pitch and case studies for helping similar brands. This helped us in determining they are the agency to go with. We found them to be more closely aligned to our goals and brand values then the other agencies we spoke with.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had a clear plan of what we wanted from this project. We don't want an off-the-shelf eCommerce solution but rather a platform we own and can tailor to our needs as we would need a lot of ongoing development. Integration with various channels for an omnichannel experience and knowledge of working with different payment gateways. We also have a very clear path to brand introduction and awareness as well target demographics we need. We will be using WooCommerce (built from scratch), Klaviyo, CRM and other ecommerce fullfillment tools.

We worked with 4-5 people from their team as we have engaged them for multiple projects. We talk to their Creative Director who is our primary contact, UX/UI Designer while working on website design, Marketing and Campaign Specialist for our ads, Social Media specialist for our social media management and lastly SEO specialist who consults us on our organic search campaign.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
The website is currently under development as we have been doing a lot of revisions with the designs as our brand is evolving and we are working on newer ideas. But so far, in terms of deliverables, they have exceeded our expectations with constant communication and transparency throughout the project. We feel that we can focus on our business while they deal with all the digital elements. Its been an amazing experience.

We have a weekly standup with them to go through the project deliverables throughout the week and they send us a monthly report on the tasks they have completed and timelines on each itemized task. We also get a budget breakdown in our monthly reporting so we can keep track of what is being done.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
Everyone we have worked with from their team seems to really care about our brand and seems passionate and enthusiastic about helping us achieve our vision. They're refreshing to see after having worked with agencies who just treat you like a number and don't care about your goals. Our experience with Edifian has been quite unique and refreshing.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
I can't think of anything that I can see as an improvement. In fact, they have on occasion raised our bar of what we should we working for towards our brand ambition. It truly feels like a partnership where they genuinely want us to succeed.

I am a sales manager at Style Canopies and Auto Accessories, an auto parts company specializing in four-wheel drive-related accessories.

We were looking for a digital marketing partner to help us attract more clients via Google Ads.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Edifian handles all of our digital marketing, including our Google Ads campaigns. Their team has revamped our WordPress website, which they now manage, adding photos and product listings. We’ve provided them with some documentation for the site, but Edifian’s team has led the website redesign. They’re also in charge of rectifying website issues.
Edifian also runs our SEO efforts; their team has added new site pages with a wide variety of keywords to improve our Google search rankings. They’ve taken the time to learn about our major products and written summaries highlighting each to post on our site.

We work with a rotating group of five teammates from Edifian.

When I first started looking for an e-commerce developer, I saw that Edifian had great reviews. We set up a call and had an in-person meeting where they displayed their offerings. In the end, we hired Edifian because they offered more services than their competitors.

Our engagement with Edifian began in December 2020, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Since working with Edifian, our sales have increased a lot because we’re getting a lot more site visitors. The time that users are spending on our site has also dramatically increased. The original website developers have provided us with a very basic website, and Edifian has done their best to optimize and transform it to meet our needs. Edifian performs to a very high standard, and we only have positive feedback for them — Edifian’s entire team is fantastic.
How did Edifian perform from a project management standpoint?
Edifian has excellent project management and provides monthly marketing reports — they’re delivering as best they can within the budget we’ve allotted. Typically, we communicate through emails and text messages. Whenever we relay site bugs or other issues, Edifian rectifies them quickly.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Edifian has excellent customer service and their team is available to us at any time. If I need something done quickly late at night, they’ll do it immediately. Edifian has sorted out a lot of problems we’ve been having.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I have nothing for Edifian to improve.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I’d advise customers to have in-depth conversations with Edifian to explain their goals for their online platform. Everyone involved in the partnership needs to be on the same page regarding project goals.

Edifian has helped so much. The web design work could’ve taken months, but it only took their team weeks to optimize my website and improve its overall appearance in line with my brand.

They’re very efficient, and they give great advice in terms of what direction I can take for my business. I also appreciate that they provide sample designs and photos to help me decide on what vibe I want for my brand. We share folders via Google Drive, and it’s very collaborative. If I have any questions, they will respond within 24 hours.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I’m quite impressed by their billing structure; I like how they charge me monthly depending on what services they’ve provided in that time and how they lay out the tasks and costs that we have ahead of us. Their services make me feel confident that I’m investing in the right things with the right people.

I’m a partner at an e-commerce company.
What challenge were you trying to address with Edifian?
We decided to sell some of our inventory to the US. We had an agreement with Edifian to run ads in the US market so that we could sell our product there.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Edifian promised they’d run my digital campaigns and fix issues on my website. We worked on Google and Facebook ads. To do that, we had to target relevant keywords. On Facebook, the team ran brand awareness campaigns, which we didn’t necessarily need.
What is the team composition?
I worked with only three people from their team, although they said there were other people working for them.
How did you come to work with Edifian?
I found Edifian on Clutch and thought that they were an honest digital marketing company that knew what they were doing. They represented themselves that way, so I hired them.
How much have you invested with them?
I invested around $3,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our engagement lasted from October 2021–January 2022. However, I’m still in contact with them since they still have my digital properties.
How did your relationship with the vendor evolve?
I didn’t know if they were being honest with me in the beginning, but as we started working together, I realized that Edifian was lying about the time they spent on the project. Even when I sent all the necessary information and documents to them to market my product, they seemed to be either incapable of doing the campaigns correctly or intentionally prolonging the process so they could increase the amount they were billing me.
Apart from that, the brand awareness campaign they ran on Facebook wasn’t necessary; we only had to run a certain number of ads to know whether we could sell our products effectively on Facebook or not — brand awareness wasn’t relevant to that. In the end, they wasted my time and budget.
They also hijacked my digital property. To run ads on Facebook, we needed to verify our website. It turned out that they verified it on their own Business Manager account. As a result, I couldn’t make edits to our ad campaigns, and that created many losses for me. I wanted them to remove my website from their Business Manager account, so I contacted them on WhatsApp. However, they blocked me. They weren’t willing to do it for some reason. We were also in dispute at the bank because I started a chargeback process.
Overall, I truly regretted working with them; they were a dishonest company. I paid them, and they deceived and insulted me for it.
How did Edifian address the challenges that arose?
I addressed the issues with Edifian, and they only came up with excuses that had nothing to do with the reality of the situation.
To be fair, it was possible that our product wouldn’t sell in the US market and people might not show interest. If Edifian had done ads decently and in a trustworthy manner, I would've thanked them, moved on, and thought of something else. However, that wasn’t the case for this engagement.
Moreover, they told me that if there were issues on my website, they wouldn’t be able to fix them until January 2022. Simply put, I had to fix some issues by myself because they wouldn’t do it. Then, they charged me for it — they charged me for the work that I had done as a customer.
Is there anything that the vendor did well or that you would consider a strength?
Edifian helped me migrate my site and write copy for it. However, their main task was to run digital ads in an efficient and target-oriented way, and they didn’t do that. The campaigns weren’t done in a way that allowed us to sell our products.
In what specific areas can they improve?
They seemed to lie about their capabilities of running Google and Facebook ads. They only ran conversion ads and brand awareness campaigns,
What advice do you have for clients with similar needs to yours?
Edifian won’t show you real results. If you plan to work with any agency, ask them to show you real results and what they’ve been doing through screenshots and images. Check what they’re truly capable of doing. A good digital marketing agency should be able to prove their abilities.
The vendor responded on January 20, 2022.

- All the statements by this individual are baseless and non factual which we will address below for clarity
- Throughout our engagement, the individual has been nothing but disrespectful and threatening and as a result we canceled the agreement with them
- The individual has not paid us for any of the work we did for them and has breached the contract they had signed with us.As a result is being legal pursued by us and this review is a last ditch attempt to be further unprofessional and a general lack of decency towards our agency that helped them get their business setup.
- The engagement was actually from August 2021-November 2021, so the first statement itself is a blatant lie.
- The individual claims they hired us for Google & Facebook Ads. That is incorrect as the individual wanted us to help with their website which was riddled with viruses and abandoned by their old developer. They asked us to do a lot of things that were not agreed to. We still decided to do 3 times the amount of work they paid for.
- Every month the client was given the report of things that were done and they acknowledged all of these items.
- They claim we own their Facebook account which is a lie as Facebook confirmed that they own their account. Despite showing this individual they own the account, they continued to threaten and harass our employees and the founder. We blocked them after repeated warnings.
- The issues their website has are their own doing as they started adding plugins without consulting with us and then their website got malware a few times because of this.
- Facebook disabled their account due to inadequate business proof for operating in the US and they decided to blame us for this.
- The individual then proceeded to disable our access to all their platforms and run away with roughly thousand dollars worth of tools that we set up only on our monthly paying clients.
- All the above statements are factual and can be backed via emails and conversations with this individual while they have no evidence for any of the statements they made and as a result are being pursued legally for their unprofessional and hateful conduct.

Edifian is very efficient and responsive when it comes to getting critical tasks done. They also have a more collaborative approach wherein they drive a lot of the strategy we do and constantly access and suggest how we can improve our website and our presence online.

We have been approached by rival agencies pitching us online strategies and offering to improve our results. When we discuss with them the rate of growth which we have at the moment, they tell us it’s phenomenal growth that they are hesitant to match. Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the managing director of a plumbing supply company. We’ve been in business since 2006 and we sell our products both online and through physical stores for the general public.
What challenge were you trying to address with Edifian?
We were having issues with our website’s set up and gaining traction.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Edifian fixes the issues on our site and mainly works on its backend. The team initially solved the glitches of our website and managed to sort out some bugs. Aside from that, they also work on our advertising needs and are working to target the correct people now.
What is the team composition?
We directly keep in touch with Brushank (Co-Founder).
How did you come to work with Edifian?
I’ve known the owner for a while now because he previously worked for the agency that created our website. I heard that he was starting his own company, then I tracked him down for this project.
How much have you invested with them?
We spend roughly $560 a month on maintenance and advertising.
What is the status of this engagement?
The ongoing engagement started in November 2019. We’re constantly communicating with them and they’re currently working on some ideas to improve our site, so our engagement is definitely ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Thanks to Edifian, we’ve seen a steady increase in traffic and sales in the last 12 months. We’re getting more daily phone calls and queries about our product. They’re doing an absolutely fantastic job. They’ve been able to weed out all of the previous problems we had and fixed them. I can’t speak highly enough of them.
How did Edifian perform from a project management standpoint?
Communication mostly goes through phone calls and emails. The team will contact me whenever they have ideas and will send screenshots of what they’re doing. They show me changes they make on the website and make suggestions for how to improve the site, like plugins.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The team is easy to work with and very easy to deal with. Edifian is always available, trustworthy, and is able to find solutions really quickly.
Are there any areas they could improve?
There are no complaints. They should keep it up. We just hope that even if their business grows, they will continue to pay attention to us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I definitely recommend Edifian. They have innovative ideas and they’re one of a kind. I wish I had found them sooner because they know how to fix problems.
