Reimagining the Future
About the Client
Blockchains develops software solutions that are preparing the world for the next phase of the internet’s evolution—Web 3.0. This groundbreaking company is on a mission to reimagine and build the infrastructure and tools needed for greater personal control over digital interactions and better protection of personal information through blockchain-based security. With an emphasis on digital identity, digital assets, connected devices, and a stable means of digital payment, Blockchains is blurring the line between digital- and real-world interactions.
What We Did
The eDesign team knew it needed to build a site for Blockchains that would push the creative envelope. To illustrate the company’s progressive nature, we developed 30+ custom 3D assets that were integrated throughout the Blockchains site. At the forefront was a detailed 3D animation of the company’s pilot program—a futuristic city in northern Nevada meant to showcase all aspects of what blockchain technology can do. Featuring an abstract feel, multiple textures, and eye-catching motion, the animation was built to appeal to a variety of audiences—from potential partners to industrial application users, to prospective employees. In addition, our team created reusable CMS templates and added new sections, such as a rich news area and career page.
How It Went
The end result was a fast, approachable, and accessible site that differentiated itself from the cryptocurrency space via the use of bright colors and human touches. Just days after launch, Blockchains experienced a 3x increase in engagement from the previous site, and a 50 percent increase in pages visited. Thanks to successful SEO optimization, the site is already showing higher on Google rankings despite an abundance of 3D animations. The project was completed on time and on budget, with universally positive feedback from all company stakeholders.

Online Platform for High Intensity Laser Research
About the Client
LaserNetUS is a consortium of high-power laser facilities around North America that are advancing the frontiers of laser-science research. With funding from the U.S Department of Energy, these 10 institutions foster collaboration among researchers and networks in order to deliver the next scientific breakthroughs.
The Opportunity
LaserNetUS is at the frontier of scientific discovery. Our role was to help establish the consortium as an international leader in high-intensity laser research through a new brand/logo redesign and website. We focused on creating brand visuals and a web experience that resonates with LaserNetUS’s various audiences.
What We Did
We started the project by sketching ideas for the logo shape and brand identity that represented what they do. The consortium needed a modern and clean symbol that stands out. We also defined the company’s brand guidelines and brand book.
The website redesign required a deep discovery phase, beginning with interviews of key representatives from each laser facility across North America. The challenge here was organizing the available content into a clear and usable site architecture. For example, we created an interactive map to help users locate a facility, while at the same time being able to click on each lab to review the technical capabilities and instruments of their laser.
How It Went
The homepage is dynamic and eye-catching. The design aims to highlight the innovative nature of high-intensity laser technology. It was a team effort to organize the vision and mission of the consortium into a design layout that is functional, but also visually stimulating.
Coming up soon, we are looking to create 3D illustrations of each laser machine in the network and video tours accessible via the website.

Bringing a New FinTech Brand to Life
About the Client
Finch is a one-of-a-kind financial product and mobile app that combines the flexibility of a checking account with the benefits of an investing account. It puts the customer’s money to work by automatically investing one’s entire checking balance into a diversified portfolio of Exchange Traded Funds, offering liquidity, simplicity, and the opportunity to increase wealth by up to 50% every 10 years.
The Opportunity
As a Financial Technology startup, Finch needed to establish itself as a brand from the ground up. They started by securing a name and identifying customer personas, then brought on eDesign to give a “face” to the Finch brand. Our team got to work right away, developing a logo, brand guidelines, and a robust online landing page all within an uber-tight timeline of 4 months.
What We Did
We set out to create a logo that connected with the inspiration behind the Finch name—a bird in the Galapagos Islands known for having a distinctive, evolutionary beak. The eDesign team landed on a logo that incorporated bird features in a subtle yet striking way, ensuring it would work in both standard and standalone app environments. We then moved on to developing brand guidelines, which served as a starting point for the aesthetic of the websites and landing pages. At the center of this robust page is a 3D animation that clearly tells the story of the two sides of the Finch experience, along with smart UX design, an abundance of motion, an interactive calculator, a WordPress-powered blog, and more.
How It Went
Though the site only recently launched, the client noted positive feedback from internal stakeholders, customers, and investors alike—along with early signs of increased engagement on the site. The Finch team recognized eDesign for a job well done via positive industry reviews and client referrals, while also leaning on our team for ongoing maintenance and site support.

AP Content Services is the content marketing division of The Associated Press. The team collaborates with brands to develop custom storytelling projects using cutting-edge media technologies and a global network of photographers and videographers ready to capture the news. Branded content is distributed across all AP media platforms and advertising channels.
What We Did
We built an interactive media kit, enriched with micro-animations and a strong focus on conversions. The new visuals reinforce AP’s brand as one of the most trusted content creators. We highlighted their amazing projects through rich photography and designed animated icons that connect with the audience. The site is not only modern and stylish, it’s also functional, easy to operate, and compliant. We added planned call-to-actions and provided AP Content Services with an interesting way to categorize their case studies. Users can quickly get in touch or reach out for a quote across any product and service.
How It Went
It was a bit of a challenge to execute AP’s specific print rules and style guidelines into an interactive experience that would also be responsive to different screen sizes. We are proud of the results and how this allows future content editors to update the site while staying on brand.
AP Content Service’s new site operates with a WordPress CMS and is fully optimized for search. The website is already showing strong ranking results in Google under their new domain. The contact forms we put in place are integrated with Salesforce to facilitate connecting new clients to sales team members directly. The site is also built to incorporate OneTrust, a GDPR-compliant Privacy Management Software tool.

This allows SundaySky to drive breakthrough outcomes and quantifiable business value for their customers—including increased revenue, reduced costs, lower churn, and higher customer satisfaction.
What We Did
The eDesign team knew that the best way to capture the attention of a CXO was to develop a dynamic 3D video that would greet visitors upon arrival at the SundaySky site. Our team created a visual centerpiece featuring customer personas that told the “why” and the “what” of SundaySky’s software and partnership. In order to meet lead generation goals, we focused on providing a smart user experience that would amplify stories and testimonials. Web Experience for LA Entertainment Company
About the Client
Redrock is a team of all-star creators, producers and managers. The company offers award-winning brand experiences, management and production services. The world’s most iconic brands, performers, and artists rely on Redrock to dazzle audiences with unique content and large-scale global events. The team is known for creating unforgettable premiers for movies like “World War Z” with Brad Pitt or the Netflix original series “Stranger Things”.
What We Did
We were inspired to show their team’s passion and work in a unique way. We created a website filled with energy and excitement that shows off the capabilities of the company and how they deliver ideas from a blank sheet of paper to a fully developed concept.
Redrock’s online space is a memorable site wrapped in the color palette of the latest brand refresh they’ve completed. The design was intentionally stimulating and interactive because it highlights the team’s creative approach to talent management, event planning, and execution.
Visual effects and smart design elements make the page stand out. We incorporated many overlapping animations built on different technologies to create an immersive feeling that keeps you scrolling and exploring. You will notice the WebGL lines generated in the background, giving users the sensation of music, movement, and energy. Some design elements were more challenging to implement than others, like the circular videos and rounded edges.
The most delicate part of the project was developing its compliance and speed optimization for the many types of browsers and devices. When a website is highly creative and animated, it requires additional efforts to make the page accessible for all.
From a UX standpoint, we made sure to create a flow that leads visitors on a journey into Redrock’s expertise and case studies. We also placed the right calls-to-action along the way to invite the user to call, connect or follow.

A fantastic New Website for the King of Popcorn
About the Client
Based in Indiana, Weaver Popcorn Company, Inc. was founded in 1928 and is the largest popcorn company in the U.S. Their popcorn is sold in more than 50 countries around the world.
What We Did
In order to design a stellar website, we started by building a solid understanding of Pop Weaver’s business and market positioning. Over several weeks we visited multiple plants and offices. We studied Pop Weaver’s competition, customers, partners, manufacturing process, business goals, corporate culture, website pain points, and future development ideas. The research was done entirely in-house through stakeholder interviews, surveys, and data validation.
How it Went
We wanted to include exceptional elements to make Pop Weaver’s website stand out. From a 3D popcorn box and flying kernels to an animated popcorn-making machine, we created a truly memorable experience unmatched by any competitor in the space.
Every element featured on Pop Weaver’s homepage could have its own case study. That’s how much attention we paid to each detail. We spared no resources, creative ideas, or efforts for this project, putting in over 352 hours for the design alone!
The website carries lots of micro-interactions, fun animations, and attention-grabbing calls-to-action. We even lit the entire site at an angle so that the light falls on specific design details to help them “pop.”
Our Role
Web Design, User Experience, Front-End Development, User Interface Design, Project Management, Web Animation, 3D Animation, Product Photoshoot, Copywriting.

Recruitment Campaign and Website Redesign
About the Client
Raritan Valley Community College (RVCC) is an accredited two-year public community college located in New Jersey. RVCC needed to boost student enrollment and market all the newest programs available at the school while also modernizing the look and feel of the RVCC brand.
What We Did
We mobilized our entire team to reimagine the RVCC site and create a corresponding digital campaign that would authentically resonate with Generation Z. Putting real-life students front and center, we interviewed and photographed a diverse range of current and former students and featured their first-person stories on the “hero slider” and across the site as well as throughout their digital campaigns, regularly refreshing student content to feed the narrative. We also initiated a program of campaign analytics in order to periodically adjust and optimize each month’s activity.
We implemented marketing strategies that would appeal to prospective and current students, from Snapchat filters to animated cinemographs to digital billboards, to YouTube bumper videos, and more. Our team produced biweekly blog posts loaded with strategic SEO keywords in order to drive traffic to the site and promote key initiatives. We even launched a unique chatbot named Arvee (“RV”) to engage prospective students who had applied but not yet enrolled, adding an additional touchpoint via text message—the preferred method of communication for teens and young adults.

The Opportunity
A renowned business with solid traditions, Hardie’s needed a modernized image while still conserving the spirit the brand was built upon.
What We Did
Our team designed the Hardie’s website to serve two main functions. Part of the site highlights the corporate identity, history, values, and work ethics of the company, while the rest of the site advertises the brand’s product catalog and features its impressive array of in-season produce.

Reviving a Legend: D’Angelico Guitars
About the Client
D’Angelico Guitars is based in New York City. The company’s story goes back to 1932 when master luthier John D’Angelico opened his instrument shop on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Strictly handmade in limited quantities, the guitars were embraced by leading artists.
The Opportunity
It’s not every day that a legendary brand is brought back to life, and our team was thrilled to be a part of the adventure.
What We Did
To revive the memories of D’Angelico’s legacy, we focused our digital design on the exquisite guitars, and their longstanding tradition and history. We drew every detail around the beautifully crafted instruments, devoting the website to digital storytelling.
Scrolling along, we took visitors to old New York to learn about the lives of John D'Angelico and his best apprentice, James D'Aquisto—“the two greatest guitar makers of the 20th century.” Users were able to click around and marvel at the quality and details of each guitar, as well as browse popular artists playing them.
How it Went
The success of D'Angelico’s website went far beyond our wildest expectations. The site was named Awwwards Site of the Day and FWA Site of the Day. It was a Webby Best Visual Design Honoree and received a Forbes E-Volution Awards for Design Aesthetics. It was also featured in many design books, articles, and publications around the world.
Beyond success in the design community, the new site gave our client the boost they needed. The legend was reborn and the brand became the talk of the town for renowned music artists around the world.

Modernizing and Elevating a Healthcare Website
About the Client
The Orthopedic Institute of New Jersey (OINJ) is the largest orthopedic practice in northwest New Jersey, providing complete orthopedic care for patients with musculoskeletal illnesses and injuries.
The Opportunity
OINJ needed to cut through the local competition by positioning itself as a thought leader within the orthopedic field. Their existing website was dated and had a limited SEO strategy that inhibited both paid and organic search results. With a growing number of locations on the horizon, it was time to launch a more contemporary, mobile-first design, with engaging visuals, simple navigation, and a clearer presentation of hours and services.
What We Did
We began by interviewing key stakeholders across all therapeutic areas at OINJ in order to get the physician's point of view for each part of the patient journey. We then developed a creative brief and site map that would provide the best possible pathways for navigation based on patient needs. Keeping different user experiences in mind, we built out a content strategy that included updating and editing existing content while also working with a medical copywriter to create new, informative blog posts to educate patients on specific conditions.
How it Went
Built with a modern front-end, leveraging a JavaScript framework for fast loading across all devices, the new OINJ site features smart navigation that allows users to search by conditions and treatments, explore locations, find a physician, and request an appointment with ease. A user-friendly CMS allows for simple updates as new physicians and services are added. With a 14 percent year-over-year increase in organic search results, our SEO efforts yielded a goal completion rate of 10 percent—meaning the site converted 10 percent more prospective patients than the previous version of the site. There was one day in particular, about two months after launch, where OINJ received close to 300 calls—a record for the organization.

Welch’s® Fruit Snacks- Website Redesign
About the Client
The Promotion In Motion Companies, Inc. (PIM), is one of North America’s leading manufacturers and marketers of popular brand name confections, fruit snacks, and other fine foods. One of the most beloved brands in its portfolio is Welch’s® Fruit Snacks—delicious snacks that are made with real fruit and loved by the whole family.
The Opportunity
Welch’s Fruit Snacks needed a contemporary website for the U.S. and Canada in both English and French. Must-haves included product information by subline, Where to Buy functionality, and an easy-to-update CMS.

Sun-Maid Chocolate Raisins combine the finest, most plump, and juicy California raisins with the purest, creamiest milk chocolate for a truly extraordinary experience.
The Opportunity
Sun-Maid Chocolate Raisins wanted a modern, mobile-optimized site that more clearly communicated “the magic of chocolate” while staying connected to the original Sun-Maid brand. The new site needed to act as a launchpad for the brand’s expanded product portfolio—featuring three new flavors including Chocolate ‘N Peanut Butter, Cocoa Dusted, and Almond Crunch. It was important to showcase the brand’s new packaging and size options while providing an easy way to find ingredients and nutritional facts.
What We Did

Domain Menada Winery
About the Client
Established in 1901, Menada is one of the oldest wineries in Bulgaria, with vineyards situated at the foothills of the Sredna Gora mountain range. The company grows and works with traditional grape varieties such as Rubin and Mavrud, as well as Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Chardonnay, Regent, and Viognier. Each year, Menada processes over 8,000 tons of white and red grapes, producing 20 million bottles of wine.
What We Did
We paid special attention to the homepage to create a blend of moving elements, video backgrounds, cinemagraphs, and beautiful lines. It even transforms with the seasons, featuring refreshing white wines in the spring and summer, and red varieties in the autumn and the winter months.
We aimed to capture the personality of the brand: exceptional quality and old-world traditions mixed with a vivid identity. Unlike a typical website design for a winery, the Menada site features a jazzy look and unconventional backgrounds, with crisp, “handpicked” graphics that emphasize different grape varieties.
Since each Menada wine blend has its own individual character—along with a unique label and color palette—we decided to showcase each bottle with an interesting animation of its own.

The system is military certified, robust and uninterrupted in harsh conditions (X operates at temperatures up to 80°C/176°F!).

Inspired by the Purest Ice on the Planet
About the Client
Inspired by the purest ice caps on the planet, Alaska Vodka is a company with spirit. Handcrafted with ultra-pure spring water, the finest quality grains and a sweet hint of honey, the brand’s hallmark is its distinctive taste.
What We Did
The website design is an Alaskan wonderland of pure ice, floating snowflakes, and mountain mist that come together to capture the heart of the brand. Our journey starts at the top of Alaska’s highest mountain range, revealing the exceptional purity of the spirit. Scrolling along, viewers can take different roads to discover the crafting of the product and the quality of ingredients behind the vodka’s authentic taste.
Through carefully chosen images, video frames, and moving elements, we introduce viewers to Alaska’s pristine scenery, spring waters, and high-quality grains, along with each part of the 7-step distillation process.
How it Went
As if the breathtaking visuals weren’t enough, Alaska’s website takes viewers, further along, exploring the purest ice on earth in the footsteps of a real expedition. In addition to the website, our team created a popular social media campaign, shared live during the Alaska Vodka expedition.

Artificial Neural Networks For Image Recognition

This discovery phase inspired our team to imagine fresh new visuals for Hardie’s online space. We made sure to pay special attention to the sitemap, wireframes, and content layout, as we knew user experience was key.
To add an interactive cool factor to Hardie’s site, we created a dynamic wheel showcasing all the fresh fruits and veggies currently in season. We even added a “draw it yourself” product search, where users can use their fingers to draw the shape of a fruit or vegetable in order to let the website determine the product in question. To match users’ hand-drawn doodles with real products, we used the latest artificial neural networks (ANN) technology.
Our Role: Art Direction, Graphic Design, User Experience, Project Management, Hand Drawn Illustrations, Animations, Front and Back-End Development, User Interface Design, Photography Manipulation, 3D Design.

We rolled up our sleeves and created a boutique site builder inside the administration panel of Die Crew’s site that is flexible, intuitive and easy to use. After spending several months coding this colossal project, our efforts paid off. Now Die Crew can create new pages with unique designs and color palettes in an instant.

Web Design Experience for Wimpy Kid
Diary of a Wimpy Kid is an international bestselling cartoon fiction series by Jeff Kinney. With more than 250M books in print in 66 languages, Wimpy Kid is credited with turning millions of kids into readers.
The brand team at Wimpy Kid came to us to redesign their existing website. They needed a fresh look to celebrate two upcoming milestone events: the premiere of their Disney+ animated movie, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, and the release of Big Shot, their 16th book in the Wimpy Kid series. Our mission was to create a website that is not only informational and scalable for future needs and announcements, but also fun. We needed to design an experience that fans can explore and would revisit often.
We only had 4 weeks to put the design together. It was a tight deadline to meet Wimpy Kid’s new book launch and movie premiere date. With the design still in progress, we had to carefully orchestrate the front-end and back-end development of the site in tandem. This is a bit tricky to do while the visuals are incomplete on deeper tertiary pages of the site.
The short deadline did not allow us to launch the entire site, and so we phased the development in a smart way. In phase one, we focused on fun visuals and the ability to drive people to purchase the books with the boost in awareness the site would get from the Disney+ launch. In phase two, the website is going to become even more interactive, welcoming kids to come back to the page for games and other downloadables.
This project brought a lot of joy to our office. We believe that when a project is done with passion, it really shows up in every pixel.
Our team is very happy and grateful for the chance to work alongside Wimpy Kid and to help with the brand’s website design. We love supporting fantastic projects that carry so much positive energy and purpose.
We are also happy to report that Big Shot, the 16th book in the Wimpy Kid series, became an Amazon bestseller overnight.

Web Revamp for Open-Air Market
"They’re very straightforward with what needs to be implemented on the platform."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the principal of an open-air market in Southern California.
What challenge were you trying to address with eDesign Interactive?
We needed to update our digital footprint, so we were looking for a partner to help us redo our website and make it more modern and approachable.
What was the scope of their involvement?
eDesign is helping us redevelop our website through WordPress where they’re also building custom modules for particular features we wanted.
We were quite agnostic in terms of the technology involved, but they provided us with a clear guideline on how they were going to approach the development, starting with a general homepage.
Once that was approved, they started building the other pages and the custom modules and so far, they’ve been gracious in accepting all our feedback despite our limited experience in UI/UX design.
Moreover, they set up the initial SEO analytics, but we’ve opted to handle that in-house to see how things will progress before we invest in digital ads.
What is the team composition?
We’re primarily in contact with Vincent (Partner) and Andrew (Project Manager).
How did you come to work with eDesign Interactive?
We were actually looking up web design companies and Clutch and decided to hire eDesign Interactive based on their good reviews and design portfolio.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve invested around $53,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our ongoing partnership started in August 2021, but we’re basically in the final stages of the project as they have a one-month support program up to the launch of the website.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve seen some very good feedback from our users and employees and so far, we’ve gotten a lot more information analytics on where we need to focus our efforts.
How did eDesign Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
They perform well as they’re always on top of every step of the process. I don’t have any tremendous issues with them in organizing the entire project, and they’re very straightforward with what needs to be implemented on the platform.
They use Basecamp to manage the project and we typically communicate through email and Zoom.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We like that they had a large focus on developing an interactive website, rather than creating an informational one. They’re able to display the content in a format that’s highly engaging for the users.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I would’ve preferred a little more hand-holding and more SEO analytics guidance.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would advise you to have a very strong plan of attack for the project and a coordinated executive-level decision-making process — this is so you can modify results and make any changes and corrections early on.

Logo, Website Development & Design for Energy Organization
"They were particularly strong at talking to us and finding out what we wanted."

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
We’re a network of the country’s highest powered laser systems working together to provide users’ access to the brightest light. I’m the current vice chair of the organization, which is a government-funded organization. The Department of Energy is our funder.
What challenge were you trying to address with eDesign Interactive?
They developed our website for us. We had an existing website we’d built ourselves, and it was good, but we decided that it was expert friendly, usable by only a small subset of the people we wanted to reach. It had to be accessible a larger group of people and have a larger range of capabilities for everyone. The site also had to be mobile accessible.
What was the scope of their involvement?
First, they developed an understanding of our website by interviewing us and giving us written questionnaires. Through this, they learned about who we are, what we do, who our users are, and what they wanted by way of a website. After this extensive period, they worked amongst themselves to come up with a variety of ideas. This began a series of ideas for how the website would work, the logo, and the branding. They ran these ideas by us, revise them, and resubmit them for several iterations. The final deliverables were a website, a logo, and a brand.
Using the logo, for example, they asked us about colors we liked and motifs that we liked before getting to work. The core of that work — and all the work — came from them. We just offered feedback. We didn’t tell them what the website would look like — only what it should accomplish, and they came up with multiple designs to accomplish those ends.
The top priority was for the website to be visually appealing, and secondly, it had to make finding information easy, including data and tables. We’re going to continue to grow the website with features like the news capability we recently developed.
They will continue to provide maintenance on the website
What is the team composition?
I’m not sure how many people worked on this account, but we were involved in multiple meetings with 6–7 people, from the leadership down to people in the trenches writing the code.
How did you come to work with eDesign Interactive?
They were chosen by the Department of Energy after an extensive research process. I’m not sure what the decision making process was.
How much have you invested with them?
We’ve spent between $100,000–$150,000 with them.
What is the status of this engagement?
We’ve been working together since October 2020. The logo and website launched in August 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The most recent round of proposals that came in via our website was very smooth. We didn’t receive any complaints. There aren’t any quantitative metrics, but the proposal process is our most crucial activity, so it has to go well. People from many different countries are using the website and using it effectively.
Our old logo felt like it came from a different age, and the new one is modern and keeps with current standards for logos of similar institutions. Working with eDesign was a pleasure.
How did eDesign Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very responsive to us, and there were no surprises. Nothing went wrong, meaning they were never late and the next round of proposals via the website was very successful.
We didn’t use any specific project management tools, but they were in constant consultation with our program manager from the Department of Energy. Our only interaction with eDesign was for them to gather feedback and critiques from us about how they were doing as they displayed various design versions of the logo and website. They contacted us by email or phone calls, as well as video conferences.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They were particularly strong at talking to us and finding out what we wanted, as well as producing a logo and website that conformed to modern standards. Making a website that functions well on a phone is a very different challenge than making one that works well on a desktop. I don’t know if we would’ve had the ability to make a mobile-friendly site.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We want to continue to expand the site’s capability, but that will be an iterative process. For example, we want users to be able to learn about our facilities and each one’s specific abilities using an advanced search mechanism. eDesign has started on that, but there’s still work to be done.
We don’t even know everything we want from the website yet, but as time goes by and our organization grows, we’ll work on that improvement.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be forthright with everything that you want. Don’t hold back.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the engagement manager at Wimpy Kid Inc. I focus on our digital and social media strategy to connect our global users.
What challenge were you trying to address with eDesign Interactive?
We hired eDesign Interactive to update our outdated website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
eDesign Interactive completely redesigned and developed our website. We provided them with our existing website for review, along with sample websites that we liked for inspiration and examples of what we were looking for.
eDesign Interactive's design team then went through several stakeholder interviews to better understand what we wanted and what our brand meant. eDesign Interactive took all the compiled information and interpreted it into a heavily animated website design that matched our brand.
What is the team composition?
We primarily worked with three team members from eDesign Interactive, including Vincent (Partner), James (Director of Digital Marketing), and Petya (Project Manager).
How did you come to work with eDesign Interactive?
We looked at several web design companies, researching companies that could fit our brand well and think outside the box when it came to adding animations and other extras to the website. A big part of our company is the fun factor and the humor we use online, and we needed a company that could work within that. We saw eDesign Interactive's portfolio and saw an interactive, fun website they designed that solidified our idea to hire eDesign Interactive.
How much have you invested with them?
We've paid eDesign Interactive around $35,000 thus far.
What is the status of this engagement?
Our partnership with eDesign Interactive began in July 2021 and it is ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We had a very firm deadline that corresponded with a new movie launching on Disney+, but we realized during the project that we needed to break it down into two phases. eDesign Interactive had been tremendously helpful during this time — they completed the first phase on time and soon will move into the next.
While there were some issues with design in the Safari browser, eDesign Interactive remedied them quickly.
How did eDesign Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
eDesign Interactive utilized an online platform to present each segment of the website to us to provide comprehensive feedback. James was our main point of contact; he ran the project and brought in their team members on an as-need basis. eDesign Interactive utilized BugHerd to track site bugs.
We utilized Basecamp to manage the project, which kept everything on track and organized. Communication was smooth throughout the partnership — we had weekly meetings and occasional check-ins as needed. Additionally, because my colleagues and I don't have a lot of background in web development or design, eDesign Interactive broke down each step of the project so we could understand. They ensured we felt comfortable and confident with their design and the backend development process.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We've worked with many different companies over the last few years, and honestly, eDesign Interactive has been the best to work with. We gave them a challenging deadline and very specific requests, but they were great at matching our needs. They always maintained an outstanding level of professionalism and ensured that we were happy with their deliverables.
Are there any areas they could improve?
We had to ask them to fix a few minor website elements several times. However, that wasn't a huge issue for us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Customers who want to work with eDesign Interactive shouldn't be afraid to think outside of the box. eDesign Interactive's team can take any requests and communicate their exact capacities with clients after discussing requests internally. Also, customers should be clear about their budget and their wants and needs. Their team can take all the information customers provide them and turn it into a website that reflects customers' wishes.

A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
The Associated Press is a news outlet and my role is global director of digital marketing. I support the organization when it comes to engaging in anything digital.
What challenge were you trying to address with eDesign Interactive?
We partnered with eDesign to put together a customer-facing website where we could highlight all the products and services that our B2B content services provide.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Before, we were just using PDFs to market our products and services. It was a little antiquated and not very engaging, so eDesign provided us with a more meaningful way to present our company’s offerings.
eDesign did a lot of auditing and internal interviews with stakeholders, so they were involved in this project from soup to nuts. Based on the information they gathered, they showed us designs for the website. Our side was heavily focused on content development, while eDesign took care of the UX and user acceptance testing (UAT).
What is the team composition?
We worked directly with two people on a weekly basis, a project manager and one of eDesign’s founders. They would sporadically bring in a designer or another member from the team, depending on where we were in the process.
How did you come to work with eDesign Interactive?
I selected five different design and development agencies ranging from large companies to small, boutique firms. I’ve been in the industry for quite a while, so I wanted to get an evaluation from all of them.
I came across eDesign through Clutch and decided to go with a medium-sized firm like theirs. I feel that we could get better engagement with them than we would from a larger churn-and-burn shop that would only give us something simplified to get us out of the door.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested $30,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started talking in November 2020 and the contracts were signed by the end of that year. We really started moving around February 2021. The website has been launched and we are keeping eDesign on retainer for maintenance and future development works.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Coming into engagements like these with a clean slate, there is a fear of scope creep. It was always at the top of my mind and theirs.
However, we hit the project right in terms of the scope, which was pretty awesome considering we didn’t have a lot of money sitting around in the event of an issue. We’re proud of the fact that it all came together at the price and timeline we agreed on and with no scope creep. We were a little late, but that was more from our side wanting to adjust certain things.
eDesign was an absolute pleasure to work with and they did an amazing job of highlighting all of our services in a very engaging fashion.
How did eDesign Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
They did perfectly. We used Basecamp to communicate. There was never anything that we weren’t aware of because they were very responsive. I’d definitely rate them perfectly on this aspect.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Given the budget constraint, it was impressive how they gave our company such a great representation. They encapsulated everything that we wanted to show and made it engaging in terms of UX. Ours is not the sexiest brand in the world, but they did an extremely wonderful job of giving us a modern appeal.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can honestly say that there were no speed bumps. Everything was discussed, negotiated, and achieved. It was a pretty smooth ride.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I would advise any company to go for eDesign. They came up with an execution that was spot on even if our budget wasn’t exactly gigantic. I would want them included in any RFP to get their point of view on a project.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the director of creative for ThirdLove, a lingerie company. I oversee all of the brand marketing, brand identity, and any sort of creative assets that the company needs.
What challenge were you trying to address with eDesign Interactive?
We needed to modify our fit finder experience on the website. We wanted to make it more interactive and dynamic so we partnered with eDesign Interactive to work on a 3D motion video portion of the quiz.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Initially, there was an ideation phase where they presented their approach to us, and then once we aligned on that, they went into the design phase. We went through a five-week process and they created five short videos for us that were intended to be interactive. The video was a rendering of a female body.
What is the team composition?
We worked with a lead designer, who was also our main point of contact, George (Owner), and Vincent (Digital Marketing Executive, Consultant & Entrepreneur).
How did you come to work with eDesign Interactive?
I did some searching for companies that did 3D motion design, but with some interactive experience. They had previous experience with that, so we reached out and they fit the ticket.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested $20,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked with them from October–December 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
So far, we’ve only had positive feedback on the experience in total. We collect data regularly on this live and interactive experience. Not just their piece of it, but the entire experience was revamped. We look to measure if this version is more impactful than the previous iteration and so far it is. I think eventually we’ll get to a place where we look more specifically at the different questions and see if there are any hiccups or challenges, and then we can go back to them and have us rework those.
How did eDesign Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
There was a lot of back and forth, from them sending us directions and us reviewing the product. They were able to handle all revisions well and they were very collaborative. The team put in long hours to reach our deadlines that were very tight. We used Basecamp for project management and communication. They sent their revisions through Basecamp for us to review and then we met every Friday to discuss. We probably went through two rounds of revisions per week.
What did you find most impressive about them?
We were appreciative of their diligence and acceptance of how many rounds of feedback we had. Sometimes agencies can be really rigid with the number of rounds you do, but they were super understanding. We were really impressed with how they were able to achieve exactly what we were looking for. They really understood the direction we wanted to go in and they put in a lot of hard work.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, there’s nothing.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the head of the administration office for a manufacturer and developer of a hybrid power system. We work with renewable energy.
What challenge were you trying to address with eDesign Interactive?
We had a need to develop a monitoring platform for our product.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The monitoring platform had to communicate through the internet with our system and extract data, show real-time data, and make amendments.
They also developed two websites for us. We provided them with documentation ahead of time. One is our general corporate website, and one is specially developed for one of our products. They did the web design, contact forms, videos, news, effects, and other things on the site.
What is the team composition?
We worked with two people. There was a technical person and a project manager.
How did you come to work with eDesign Interactive?
Our management chose them. Their products and their reference projects met our requirements and our vision for how we wanted our website and platforms to look.
What is the status of this engagement?
It started in 2015. They are maintaining our websites and platform. We have a contract with them.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Everything was delivered within the project deadline. They fulfilled everything on our requirement list, and it is all working smoothly with no problems. We are very grateful for that because it is very important, especially the monitoring platform.
It was a really big challenge that we faced, but everything went well, and it was completed successfully. eDesign understood our vision perfectly of how the website should be and for our market. We are extremely happy with the result.
How did eDesign Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
They were very good. We had meetings and we also used email to communicate.
What did you find most impressive about them?
There are several things. Their work is amazing, they are very responsible, and they answered our needs accordingly and on time which was very important for us. eDesign treated us with the utmost importance, which I believe is something they do for every customer.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I highly recommend eDesign. You’ll be very pleased with the results.

Web Design & Dev for Blockchain Technology Company
“I really felt like they went above and beyond for us.”

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the VP of brand at Blockchains. We’re a blockchain technology company that develops and incubates blockchain solutions and ideas.
What challenge were you trying to address with eDesign Interactive?
Our previous corporate website felt fairly generic. It lacked any sort of modern element and there wasn’t a clear user path to make the site navigable. The biggest issue was that it was on a very restrictive CMS that didn’t really allow non-developers to make updates or add pages. That’s where eDesign Interactive came in.
What was the scope of their involvement?
We hired eDesign Interactive to redesign and redevelop our corporate website from scratch. The overall purpose of our site was to speak to our various target audience groups, so the site needed an intuitive UI that allowed each group to access relevant content easily.
Furthermore, our company values and promotes transparency, and we wanted our site to reflect that. eDesign Interactive built out a robust CMS along with a set of customized templates that gave us the flexibility to constantly maintain our pages. We could use those templates to provide updates about what our organization was doing.
When it came to privacy controls, they helped us make sure that we were GDPR compliant. We set those policies for our global audience rather than geotargeting the European Union.
What is the team composition?
I worked closely with Vincent (Managing Partner) and George (Owner), but I know there was a much larger team behind the effort.
How did you come to work with eDesign Interactive?
I was looking on award sites to see who’d been recognized for corporate website design, reaching out to about five agencies for RFPs. Of those candidates, eDesign Interactive really caught my eye. Besides the fact that they could meet our budget and deliverable date, their website was one of the major determining factors in our selection process. It was really the aesthetic, 3D design, and animation that stood out.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project lasted from March–December 2020, and we’re now working with them for monthly maintenance.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We’ve only been up and running for a few weeks, but the compliments from our internal stakeholders have been pouring in, especially from the founder of our company. Many are expressing how happy they are with the new site. Likewise, I’m interviewing a few individuals for a new position, and they keep commenting on how amazing the site looks and how easy it is to find information.
As for performance metrics, we’ve seen a slight increase in visits and page views year over year, though it’s too early to say. We haven’t seen any major bugs nor issues thanks to eDesign Interactive’s significant QA process. They’re currently rolling out some fixes.
How did eDesign Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
It was pretty fantastic. Our project manager was really on top of things. We used Basecamp, which certainly helped to keep all of the different threads grouped together, so nothing got lost in a sea of emails.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I really felt like they went above and beyond for us. We actually ended up exceeding the initial scope of work in terms of revisions, design hours, and templates, but they were really accommodating. Like most people, their team responds well when treated with respect and kindness.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I didn’t have any issues.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Whether you’re working with eDesign Interactive or any web design agency, it’s really important to have all of your content in order. We weren’t relying heavily on them for copywriting and opted to do that in-house with a smaller team. As a result, we could only get to the content that we had the time and bandwidth to do. That affected the project timeline because we weren’t always able to deliver what we needed to. It’s a big commitment.

Web Development for Insurance Company
"They always kept the deadlines we discussed and managed our budget expertly."

the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the project manager for an insurance company in Bulgaria. We’re part of a bank insurance group.
What challenge were you trying to address with eDesign Interactive?
We wanted to redesign our website because it was very outdated. We also wanted to achieve a unified look and feel with websites in the larger group.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They redesigned the home page of our website to help us focus more closely on the digital services our company provides. We wanted the designs to be neat and clean through a templated process. In our previous site, all pages had a custom structure. The templates allowed us to remain uniform and approachable to our clients.
They delivered one unified template for all product pages. Another big section for our website was for claims management. We wanted to bring all relevant information together onto one page, which would include general insurance, claims management, life insurance management, etc.
They also made a more structured “about us” section and produced a virtual museum centered around our company.
What is the team composition?
There was a project manager, 1–2 developers, and a designer. We were in contact with the project manager.
How did you come to work with eDesign Interactive?
They were already working with the bank and had developed their website 10 years ago. When we decided to move forward with this project, they were a clear choice.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent about $22,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked on the site from November 2019–September 2020. They continue to maintain the website.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The initial feedback we received from the company and our colleagues was very positive. The look and feel of the website is modern and innovative. If our clients can’t find something on our website, they would be one to complain. However, at the moment, we aren’t getting such complaints.
How did eDesign Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
They did a very good job. Despite our tendency to lag behind the timeline when providing materials to them, they were constantly pushing us in order to complete the project in time. I’m very thankful for the job they did. They really led the project.
What did you find most impressive about them?
It was important to me to receive deliverables on time. They always kept the deadlines we discussed and managed our budget expertly. While they had to work extra hours to complete the work, they didn't charge extra for that time.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No, I’m satisfied with them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be prepared with your requirements. If you’re not well prepared, they can’t work miracles without your support. You should provide enough resources and time for the project as well.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I am the VP of marketing at SundaySky, a video and marketing platform for businesses to improve their customer experience across the customer lifecycle.
What challenge were you trying to address with eDesign Interactive?
We went through a repositioning almost two years ago. We wanted a clear crisp message of what we do front and center. In the past, we heard from stakeholders that it wasn’t quite clear what we did, so we wanted to crystallize it.
We wanted to redesign our website so that it matched our new positioning and communicated it effectively. We also wanted to bring a lot of our platform and product components, capabilities, and ethos to the website as well.
One of the core components of our platform is content modularity. We wanted the look, feel, and aesthetic of the website to have that modular aesthetic.
What was the scope of their involvement?
eDesign Interactive did design and development. I was on maternity leave when our CEO decided that he wanted to redo the website. When I came back, the process was in place and had just kicked off, so I was able to work closely with eDesign Interactive on the design, development, site structure, and hierarchy.
We split the project into two phases. The first phase was the core web pages, and the main pages on our navigation such as the homepage, platform page, industry solutions pages, customer page with customer references, and case studies.
Phase one was primarily a lot of the design, the 3D animation work, and then the core website look and feel and page templates. Phase two was the CMS build. It is built on WordPress, and eDesign Interactive also built our content resources section, which is our blog.
Part of the reason we split it into two was to keep the original timeline for the new website and homepage that our CEO wanted. Of course, one of our internal stakeholders had a lot of feedback and iterations on the homepage design look and feel, so we had to split it into two phases.
What is the team composition?
We worked closely with their managing partner, as well as a project manager, a design lead, and a development lead.
How did you come to work with eDesign Interactive?
I was on maternity leave, but they were selected by a colleague of mine. He vetted them, and one of the reasons he selected them was based on their creative portfolio and the work they had done, which was contemporary, fresh, and new. They had a lot of current website 3D and animation trends and practices.
How much have you invested in them?
So far, we’ve spent about $115,000 which includes the monthly maintenance we have been doing.
What is the status of this engagement?
We began working with eDesign Interactive in March 2020, and it’s an ongoing partnership. Phase one was completed at the end of June 2020, and phase two was completed about two months later.
We’ve continued with ongoing optimization. We have a maintenance retainer in place for optimization, updates, and new pages which we continue to build out. We are pushing a completely new page live in the first week of January 2021.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The UX and design have significantly improved just like our site visitors. It has been keeping people on the site longer. Prior, we were seeing under a minute on the site, but now we are seeing closer to two minutes; almost doubling the time on site.
Just the improved user behavior has in part influenced our organic search ranking positively. At a high level, the better UX and user behavior has kept people on the site longer and improved our organic ranking.
How did eDesign Interactive perform from a project management standpoint?
The managing partner was highly involved, not only with weekly status calls but also with making sure that they were achieving our goals. We did run into some hiccups in terms of maintenance, hosting, and security that were brought forward by my internal IT and security team.
That’s not what eDesign Interactive does, but they were always front and center to help us mitigate those issues and fix them along the way. We changed project managers halfway through, but I’m not sure why.
The team uses Basecamp, which we typically use for communication. They also use InVision for static design mockups, and we use it to provide comments.
What did you find most impressive about them?
They have a lot of creative solutions, especially in terms of the homepage. There were a couple of times we got stuck or there were some things we liked on one design concept and some things we liked on the other, and they had solutions to help us achieve our goals, especially for the homepage.
Their 3D and animation work is really strong. Compared to the other website providers I have used in the past, eDesign Interactive has been the strongest in terms of their design work, 3D work, animation, and creative solutions.
Are there any areas they could improve?
They could push us more. In terms of timing and deadlines, some things were extended, but in that first phase with the homepage, it was because one of our stakeholders had different iterations and wanted to keep the homepage tight. There is a trade-off between being perfect and just getting it done.
Overall, everything we have done over the past year has taken time because eDesign Interactive lets us take our time. If they had pushed us more and told us when we needed to get the work done and when decisions needed to be made, that would’ve helped to push us.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Bring your business challenges and goals to them directly and let them provide creative ideas and solutions and iterate on those rather than bringing your own ideas to the table. One thing we are seeing now is that it’s important to maintain an ongoing relationship to continue optimizing and getting the most out of the site.
We are now seeing optimizations on the homepage based on the core designs that are kind of obvious, but it didn’t occur to any of us at the time. Once the website is live and in the market, you’re going to need some of the data. It’s important to come back six or 12 months later and look through the heatmap and optimize the design.
