Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the president of R2 Online, LLC, an e-commerce company specializing in private label manufacturing and development. We’re selling through Amazon, Walmart, and our website.
We have three different brands: Photonics 360, a camera and photo accessories brand; Scotch and Company, a pet accessories brand; and 3DS Filaments, a 3D printing filaments brand.
What challenge were you trying to address with EcomXPRT?
We needed help in handling our brand launch’s preparation. We were specifically looking for support on product research, infographics, and SEO listings.
What was the scope of their involvement?
EcomXPRT is providing us with turnkey branding services, and they’ve gone through the process of maturing our brands from concept to launch.
First, EcomXPRT helped us research our competitiveness in each category. They pulled actual data from different sources, and we used their findings to validate if these would be good niches to get into.
Once we decided that the niches were suitable for our brand, we worked with EcomXPRT to nail down the products we should include in each of our brands. They helped us achieve a complete offering.
EcomXPRT then went into the more detailed work of conducting keyword research and preparing SEO listings. They also developed custom infographics for each of our products. Additionally, they built us box designs and trade show banners.
We’re coming to the end of phase one, and we’re planning to continue working with EcomXPRT for account management. That will include day-to-day management, SEO updates, and customer service support across multiple platforms.
What is the team composition?
I work with Saad (CEO), Usama (Co-Founder), Kainat (Business Development Manager), and three other resources.
How did you come to work with EcomXPRT?
EcomXPRT was referred to me by another e-commerce company that we liaise with. I validated their work by checking their profile on Upwork and Fiverr. We contacted them through Upwork, and we hired them with payment set up according to five milestones.
How much have you invested with them?
Our phase one contract is $5,000, and we also paid them $2,000 for product research.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in June 2021, and it’s ongoing.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The quality of EcomXPRT’s work is impressive. We are launching new brands, and our products are headed to Amazon and third-party logistics warehouses. We currently don’t have any market feedback, but we expect our brand to launch around November.
Our pet brand has even been picked up by Chewy, a pet product retailer. Our brand has been well-received in the market, and we’re going live on all our products. Across the three brands, we have close to 100 SKUs going live in the next six months.
Additionally, the box designs EcomXPRT did have given a unique look to our brand. Their work with trade show banners helped us get picked up by Chewy.
How did EcomXPRT perform from a project management standpoint?
EcomXPRT’s communication has been very effective. I’ve been worried that we might encounter issues since they are remote. However, I have the entire team available on Skype and WhatsApp, and we speak daily.
EcomXPRT has expertise in different areas — someone in their team is dedicated to infographics, listing, keyword research, and product research.
Additionally, EcomXPRT has been working very well with both our team and our suppliers.
There’s guidance on labeling and packaging dimensions that we need to send to our suppliers. This allows them to package items according to Amazon’s requirements. EcomXPRT provides that in an early and timely fashion, so it’s incorporated into the supplier’s process. When the goods arrive, they’re fully compliant.
What did you find most impressive about them?
EcomXPRT has all the competencies needed to take a project from concept to execution, and they can also follow through with account management services.
They’re a one-stop shop in many ways — they made our lives very easy, considering we were new to the e-commerce industry when we connected. They’ve helped bring us up to speed and make our brand a reality.
Are there any areas they could improve?
It’s been an enjoyable experience working with EcomXPRT. I’m impressed enough to give this candid feedback. They’re pretty transparent on their pricing, and they go above and beyond what’s required of them. I don’t have anything negative to say at the moment.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Follow their lead because they’ve done e-commerce projects several times; they have the capabilities and competencies in their team. Hear what they have to say because you’re likely to follow their advice — it’s based on lessons they’ve learned over time working on different platforms and multiple brands.

I’m the president of Global Mix Inc., a retail company. We sell our products on our website, via call center, and on Amazon and eBay.

They listen to me, and they enhance my ideas. On top of that, they really utilize their skills in our projects. Their communication skills are also good; they’re always available, and they keep us informed. We communicate via Skype.

There’s nothing I’d have them improve. Everything is going well.
