I'm the managing director of a uPVC manufacturing company. We are one the best uPVC manufacturers in the middle east and work under many brand names.
For what projects/services did your company hire DroppTech, and what were your goals?
Previously we had a WordPress website for our company. But managing it was tough because we didn't know how to work with WordPress and the previous team was so slow for changing things.
So we decided to develop our new website without ready-made solutions and make a custom website and admin panel that is easy for us to work with. We trust DroppTech based on their attitude and previous works. Now we have an admin panel that is very easy for us to change and update website contents.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
When we decided to develop a new website for the company, one of our employees offered DroppTech based on their previous works and their connection with them. We reviewed their website and their portfolio, then met with them. They cared more about quality and beauty than any other developer we've worked with.
Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.
We had several meetings with the project manager discussing all things that are important to us and also the ways we wanted to showcase our works on the website. During the project, they gave us a demo every two weeks of what they working on and they asked us what we thought about it.
They first worked on the website and admin panel and then the reseller panel.
How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Don't know exactly but based on our meetings one project manager which was our point of contact, two front-end developers, one back-end, and one tester who tests our website and was our contact for bugs we found.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
After launching our new website, we have everything we need for managing our website in the way we are comfortable with. Our employees can now manage and update website content so easily and quickly. We also have a lot of options to showcase our work in the way we want.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
After the contract, we just had weekly meetings with them and communicate with the project manager via email or WhatsApp. I know they used an internal tool for communicating with each other but we didn't have access to that.
They also added us to a Trello board which we could see the progress of the project every time we want.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They really care about quality and beauty. Many of the admin panel effects they developed for us might not have existed because they were not part of what needed to be done. But they put them on for more beauty.
I feel like they enjoy their work and creating something beautiful and clean. Eventually, our website and admin panel had several more features than agreed upon, and that made us feel good.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
The project schedule could have been more accurate, but given the quality of the work that was done and how many additional features were eventually implemented, this is quite understandable. I feel that the quality of things is more important to them than the time done.

For what projects/services did your company hire DroppTech, and what were your goals?
One client requested an app in which users can order a laundry service with the ability to set the pickup and delivery time. Since the company has all infrastructure including fleet management, we had to create a platform for the admins to manage orders and shipments.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
We had multiple meetings with DroppTech to decide the technology stack but it was obvious that we are going to use a cross-platform system to build the iOS and Android apps and DroppTech was well equipt with senior developers in this field. Also after a couple of meetings, I came to understand that DroppTech has a very well established quality assurance priocess.

The project deliverables were as follow:
Customer App (iOS and Android) Driver App (iOS and Android) Admin Panel including:
- Product management
- Affiliate marketing management
- User management
- Order and shipment management
- Fleet management We have used React-Native for mobile applications and React for the admin panel. The back-end was written in JS/Node/Express
How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?
Since I have a programming background, I was deeply involved with developers meetings and I had multiple meetings with more than 5 developers and QA engineers inside DroppTech.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
Since the client's business strategy was to only focus on certain geolocation (part of central London), the number of downloads and ratings is not the best measurement for the success of this project.
Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.
In one word, "Perfect!". We had a very smooth communication. I always get the sense that DroppTech management understands not only my problems and concerns but my client's concerns as well. Overall it was a very smooth and pleasant journey.
What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?
They went above and delivered beyond expectations. In multiple situations, I wasn't aware of an improvement that they made in the user journey and they just found the opportunity to improve their work and they did it.
Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?
This issue is actually happening in all flat projects and it can't be associated with DroppTech only but maybe time management and flexibility to changes can be some areas of improvement.

I'm the owner and CEO of Hirkan co and Faragostar (CCTV Cameras) sales representative.
For what projects/services did your company hire DroppTech, and what were your goals?
We needed a website for our partners and sales agents to quickly see the price lists and commodity inventory. Also, place their orders through the website. Another thing that was good for us but not so necessary is that we wanted to have multiple sites under multiple domain names but manage all of them on a single panel. And as I understand during meetings this one is a bit challenging for the team and they called it a multi-tenant app.
How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?
I know DroppTech's CEO personally, and by referring to their portfolio, it seemed to me that they are very capable so I decided to choose them for this project.

During the first meeting, we discussed the structure of the website's home page and the requirements that are necessary for us. Then they came up with some suggestions. We added some more features to the site during the development, and they rescheduled the project timeline where needed. In the end, they delivered two websites on two different domains and a single panel for managing them.

My point of contact was the product owner.
Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?
We've launched recently and did not measure anything yet. we are currently working on introducing our website to our partners and sales agents.

We had weekly meetings for discussing the progress, new ideas. They manage tasks in trello boards.

I think, in comparison with their competitors, they deliver more at a lower cost. They managed the project well during the COVID pandemic situation.

Of course, there are always areas for improvement. They could be faster, and be more accurate about timing.
Since launching the website developed by the DroppTech team, the company now has everything they need to manage the platform in a way that suited them best. The new setup now allows the company to manage and update their content easily and quickly.
