We needed cybersecurity and managed IT services since I suffered a hacking attempt.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DPC Technology provides IT support and integrations, troubleshooting, and software updating. The team is also responsible for process improvement and acts as our IT department. Prior to this engagement, DPC Technology was involved in developing software for our company. DPC Technology offers on-site services and manages our cybersecurity.

My company was already engaged with DPC Technology when I started working here.

I started working at my company in March 2024, and our engagement with DPC Technology is ongoing.

I'm mostly impressed by DPC Technology's customer service.

DPC Technology's only area for improvement is being more proactive in offering IT solutions for their company.

I suggest building a good relationship with DPC Technology. The better relationship the client builds with the team, the more they'll get from their engagement.

Dental PC is the company we go to for all of our IT needs from making sure our network of computers are working and functioning properly, to ensuring our data is backed up and secure. We also connect with them to discuss the necessary technology compatible with our dental equipment.

Monthly reporting on the health and status of our equipment and back-ups, reporting on service tickets for IT support when submitted.

They triage IT support issues, but you are able to indicate the level of immediacy for your office. They do understand that some requests require immediate assistance.

This company is impressive for us because of the knowledge they have that's specific to our dental processes, and their willingness to work along with us and our practice management software company and dental supply company.

We are at a bit of a distance from their main location, so sometimes getting someone out to our facility can prove difficult. Also, it seems like they are growing and super busy, so sometimes it seems there may be questions or service requests that fall through the cracks in terms of follow-up.

Dental PC has set our office up from the beginning with all computer needs including all software set up. They have replaced equipment over the years for us including ceiling tv's and advertisement Tv's in our operatories. They maintain all of our server equipment. The have also provided us with phone services. They stay on top of all software updates needed.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The main success outcome was that we were able to go completely digital with our patient records with ease.

All equipment is always delivered promptly. They respond quickly with any issues that arise in our business to keep us moving without fail. They never leave a project undone. They make sure every scenario is covered before beginning a project.

Purchase new computers and network equipment.  Install software on each terminal, configure and setup, ensure new system functions properly.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

the most important measurable outcome was the amount of time it took to swich out the old IT vendor and new one. We stressed to DPI that downtime was unacceptable. We needed a seemless and smooth transition with little to no downtime.

At our initial onboarding meeting a comprehensive project management timeline was presented, discussed and then implemented. The transition was staged accurately and well defined demonstrating a proper knowledge and expertise. Hardward was delivered ontime as well as all project deadlines meet. 

DPC made their team available to us with any initial setup concerns for the first few weeks, almost as if we had an in house IT department. They also had team members on site during our normal working hours for the first week.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What we found most impressive with DPC was their knowledge regarding our specific IT needs.  They thoroughly audited our system and took ownership of all needs and requirments for a successful transition and proper long term care.

Are there any areas for improvement or something DPC Technology could have done differently?

DPC Technology was very thorough with their onboarding process from start to finish. They are professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. There is nothing more I could have asked for in an IT vendor.

What was the scope of their involvement?

DPC Technology is in charge of managing all of our IT needs. When our engagement started, they actually visited our laboratory in person and gave us a customized quote and IT management plan based on our lab's needs.

DPC Technology provides us with both on-site and remote services. For example, they've supplied some of our IT equipment, and they also monitor our system remotely.

What is the team composition?

I’ve worked with 5–6 teammates from DPC Technology.

How did you come to work with DPC Technology?

I found them online. I thought they were the right size for the project, and they serviced our area, so I hired them.

How much have you invested with them?

We pay them around $1,000 per month.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working with them in July 2023, and we’re still working with them.

DPC Technology's work has improved our internal business operations. They've streamlined our system and provided us with excellent support, making it easier to run our business.

DPC Technology always delivers on time and on budget; they're very time-efficient.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?
Some of DPC Technology's teammates who have been really helpful include Guneet, Dustin, and Scott. Scott has been of extra help.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I like how much time DPC Technology has dedicated to being on-site. When we onboarded them, they spent with us a few days making sure that everything went smoothly and perfectly. They didn't leave until they ensure everything worked well, which we really appreciated.

I don't have any notes for them; they're doing a great job.

Call DPC Technology sooner rather than later. I wish we had started working with them a long time ago.
