The Web Experts
At Dotlogics, we do things differently (and by different, we mean “better”). We could jaw on about our accolades, but those are a matter of public record by now. Moreover, we believe we’re only as good as our most recent work, so we put everything we have into every project, whether that’s for an enterprise company or for a start-up.
Axing jargon and buzzwords in favor of real, human language, we know that communication is the true ‘secret sauce'. Our clients remain actively engaged with our process, because the more feedback we receive during a project, the stronger our end result will be.
You won’t find pushy, hard-sell tactics here -- we don’t need them. We’re growth-driven and platform-agnostic, so we’re not married to the latest, greatest (and most expensive) solutions or platforms; instead, we take extra care to recommend only the technologies that will generate more traffic and increase your sales, without adding confusion or extra steps to your process.
Web design is far from the only area where we excel; we apply our results-driven, data-focused, personalized technique to projects needing eCommerce help, SEO optimization, ERP, CRM and backend solutions, and way more. Call us; we can do what you need.

Brown University
The Annenberg Institute for School Reform at Brown University had a wealth of information to share, but no clear way for stakeholders to view those findings and resources. Dotlogics brought this valuable data out into the light by building a fully customized, user-friendly, and accessible web interface, while also creating a content strategy that highlighted the deep value of the Institute’s research.

Clear Shampoo, Unilever
Unilever had a problem: they were a household name, yet still struggled to see strong results in their individual marketing campaigns. Using an iterative approach that began each new campaign by analyzing the results of previous campaigns, Dotlogics kept Unilever’s marketing relevant, fresh, and effective -- finally arriving at the ultimate solution: fantasy football. (Really? Yes, really.)

Data Device Corporation
When your customers are extraordinary, you have to be, too -- so DDC needed a website that would not only inform, but sell, and sell well. After a thorough analysis, keeping in mind each of DDC’s target audience personas, Dotlogics created a flexible, scalable e-commerce platform that not only generates leads, but drives conversions, and puts control of the customer journey back into DDC’s hands.

Broadway Basketeers
Broadway Basketeers put their customers first, but their old website was no longer able to keep up with their logistical needs. Dotlogics redesigned the site from the ground up, keeping the customer in focus every step of the way, from a sleek, yet intuitive UI to creating a smart new calendar system that ensured every order would arrive precisely on time.

ShopWorn
High-end retailer ShopWorn was struggling with a broken backend infrastructure that frustrated their customers and hindered sales. Dotlogics analyzed the industry, assessed the unique needs of customer and client alike, and created a robust e-commerce site in support of an exclusive brand image, which served to distinguish ShopWorn with the professional polish that luxury consumers demand.

Under The Weather Pod
Under the Weather needed a new website that celebrated their vision of a life lived well come rain or sun, and that beckoned users to explore their unique product offerings. Dotlogics conducted a website audit and optimized the site layout to remove all obstacles impeding the customer journey, creating a fun and easy to use website that perfectly matches the product.

Reiss Hardware
Reiss Hardware had everything -- that was the issue: Their catalog was unmanageable, unwieldy, and ultimately unshoppable. No sweat for Dotlogics; we headed to the drawing board to blueprint every bit of their backend, constructing a catalog big enough to contain all of their inventory, as well as crafting a custom API to work perfectly alongside their ERP.

Project with Gardenia
We’re expert content managers and platform builders, and we bring those skills to our collaboration with clients. Gardenia needed a website that could handle an unusually large amount of content while serving as a destination for gardening enthusiasts and professionals. We partnered with them to make their vision for this unique platform come to life.

McDonald's
As the world’s most recognizable fast-food brand, McDonald’s needs no introduction. With their well-established reputation, the challenge was set for Dotlogics to craft a compelling content story, including fresh seasonal campaigns, a well-strategized digital presence, and a rock-solid, responsive, cross-platform website that is routinely visited by billions of visitors from across the globe.

New Website Redesign for Boutique Publisher
“It was a true partnership on both sides.”

Introduce your business and what you do there.
Entangled Publishing is a 100% Women-Owned Independent Publisher of Romantic Fiction, in both the Adult and Young Adult Markets. Since its first release in July 2011, Entangled has published more than 2,600 titles, including the Instant NY Times Bestselling Crave Series, which has also been optioned for film by Universal, as well as some of the biggest names in Adult and Young Adult Romance.
What challenge were you trying to address with Dotlogics?
Our previous website was broken and very limited in terms of functionality and features. We needed a complete redesign. We needed a development company who could understand what we needed and build us a new site that we could easily manage.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Dotlogics redesigned the entire Entangled Publishing website, keeping in line with the designs we had but updating them. They also built a content management system for us from scratch. Dotlogics gave us recommendations about the website platform, and helped throughout the project to make sure that our new website would meet our needs.
What is the team composition?
The team we worked with consisted of two main points of contact, and other designers, developers, and the rest of the team worked behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with Dotlogics?
We had interviewed other website developers as well, but it seemed like they had their own way they wanted things done, and they weren’t necessarily wanting a collaboration. We were very specific in not wanting a WordPress website, so we needed to narrow it down to someone who could handle different types of websites and understood how to be collaborative.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Our project was a success because we have a working website now that does everything we need it to do. The new website is faster and our team can easily manage it.
How did Dotlogics perform from a project management standpoint?
There were no concerns with workflow.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The collaboration was impressive... I think in order to have a successful partnership in anything, you have to be able to hear each other and find a solution, and you can’t do that unless you do it together.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The project went pretty smoothly. Both teams had to collaborate to get feedback and key pieces of information to each other on time, and so it was a true partnership on both sides.

Please describe your company and your position there.
AmeriTV is a company that offers streaming services, and I am the owner.
For what projects/services did your company hire Dotlogics?
AmeriTV needed a website redesign. We wanted a fresh website, and a fresh look to promote the company’s streaming services. The site didn’t need to be very complex, but it was important that we found a collaborative partner who could get things done quickly.
What were your goals for this project?
I was looking for a team that I can rely on for fast changes, which made it really convenient as far as I am concerned. I needed someone I could reach out to to get stuff done.
How did you select Dotlogics?
I found Dotlogics through a local search in Saratoga; I knew I wanted to deal with somebody local.
Describe the project in detail.
Dotlogics built out a custom admin panel that provided easy editing and other content capabilities. They also created a customized reseller account for me, so that every time I need to create a reseller account I can do it on my own.
What was the team composition?
There were several people working on the design and development side, and then I also had two main points of contact for any day to day questions that came up.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
The new website that I have works really well, with great performance. I’ve got all the capabilities I need to manage the website and be able to create reseller accounts.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Everything has been addressed in a timely manner: there’s good communication, easy access through email and phone, good availability -- I mean, we’ve even spoken on the weekends!
What did you find most impressive about this company?
I would give the same answer as the one I just gave.
Are there any areas for improvement?
I can’t think of any.

For what projects/services did your company hire Dotlogics?
*A new ecommerce website *hosting *branding
What were your goals for this project?
Our previous website was really old and customers were having a hard time placing orders. Our goal was to redo the site to make if 100% easy for customers to browse, find products and easily shop online.
How did you select Dotlogics?
Our marketing manager contacted 12 companies. We interviewed all of them and saw that Dotlogics truly understood what we needed.
Describe the project in detail.
The phase 1 project included our brand identity strategy, setting up wireframes for the site, designing the site, developing it and then launching it. The project also entailed product migration of over 50,000 products.
Everything was tested and then we went live. The phase 2 project will include building out a inventory management system and connecting to a few important tools we need like quickbooks.
What was the team composition?
We have one point of contact but my entire team is available to me if we have questions or want to discuss ideas. Communication is really strong on their end so if we send an email, we know we're going to get a reply in a few minutes.
Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?
Our conversion rates have gone up tremendously. And our customer retention is much higher as well. Those customers that bought from us once, now they come back to the site whereas in the past, the vast majority of customers were not placing repeat orders.
On a monthly basis we do a sit-down with the team to analyze what areas we can still improve on so it's an ongoing process to try and better ourselves each day.
How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?
Communication really has been one of the best in class. Without good communication, I'm not sure how this project could have gotten done.
We have tons of ideas and needed lots of support so Dotlogics was really a good fit in all those areas. Like I said before, when I send an email, I usually get a reply within a few minutes.
What did you find most impressive about this company?
Their listening and strategy skills. They really become involved in the project, listen and ask tons of questions so I was most impressed with how involved they were in the entire process.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
For over 15 years, our company has provided store fixtures to help stores with traffic, control, management and upsell. I am an assistant to our PM.
What challenge were you trying to address with Dotlogics?
We have a very large inventory of over 40,000 products. We had to find the right e-commerce solution that would be able to manage our inventory, order management process and other important back office functions like sales tracking.
We had been using an outdated system which was not giving our customers the interface or experience we wanted to give. We needed something much more robust and advanced. Our goal was to revamp all existing tools and bring everything into one e-commerce platform so that our team could manage orders and sales without going crazy.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Dotlogics built the entire website from start to end. This is a custom built e-commerce website with all sort of integrations for shipping, payments, tracking, inventory, etc.
How did you come to work with Dotlogics?
We sent out an RFP listing what we needed. Based on the responses we got, the timeline, the budget, we interviewed a few companies and then selected the one that we felt had the most experience and had the best understanding of what are looking for.
What is the status of this engagement?
The site is continuously being updated. We just added an entire ERP system to the website so it's really an ongoing process.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We've become much more efficient now that the entire back office is automated and accounted for. Orders come in, they are tracked and marked and we don't have to manually manage the process. We know how many orders we are getting, which products are working for us and which are not and that kind of information has made it much easier to make sales and marketing decisions.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Our team and theirs is very closely knitted. They've become a trusted partner and are the helping hand we needed. We don't think we could ever get where we are today without them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
No. We are 100% happy with their services.

Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the marketing manager of a manufacturer of knit tops and denim jeans. We have a facility that can produce 2,000 pieces a day and have over 50 full-time employees.
What challenge were you trying to address with Dotlogics?
For years, we have been manufacturing knit tops and jeans for brands around the world. We wanted to launch our own brand so that we can directly target the retail market and maximize our profits.
We were looking for a professional company that is not just familiar with website development but can also comprehend branding, and Dotlogics was the right fit for us.
What was the scope of their involvement?
Our project was centered on design. We focused on branding, great visual appeal, and ease of use. It was also important to us that our collection was rightly represented with the colors and themes according to our preferences. Dotlogics provided exactly what we were looking for.
How did you come to work with Dotlogics?
We had shortlisted 3–4 companies and were looking at their design quality, size of the company, and pricing. We were searching for a creative team with a lot of talent. Dotlogics was very responsive and once they provided us with their information, we made the decision to hire them.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested approximately $15,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
The project ended a year ago.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
Dotlogics laid out key performance indicators before starting the project, which were all based on the strategy and goals that we set out to accomplish. We have good traffic on the website and are getting continued growth, so we are satisfied with the overall performance. The project was completed on time and Dotlogics’ customer service was exceptional.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their customer service, responsiveness, and design quality are the most impressive things about them.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Looking back, we assigned a mobile app project to another company—we should have assigned that project to Dotlogics. It was our mistake.
The final site was a success thanks to Dotlogics’ efforts — they made it faster, and the internal team had an easier time managing content. The publisher commended Dotlogics for guiding a collaborative engagement.
