For what projects/services did your company hire dooblu?

We had a basic Wordpress website that wasn't optimized for mobile. Website wasn't fast and the design didn't represent the brand nor support a good user experience. That's why we turned to dooblu.

Dooblu provided us with their portfolio which looked great. They were very straightforward and professional in their communication. Their expertise matched our needs.

After a series of meetings, dooblu listened to our needs and problems, and understood them quickly. Together, we discussed the best design for our website and went through everything. The working ways were agile, as they always asked for feedback and adjusted accordingly.

Worked with the founders of dooblu, Waqar and Zain.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The new design looks much better than the one we had before. Our website is more user-friendly, optimized for all devices, and represents our brand well.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The founders of dooblu were easy to communicate with. They are always there to answer quickly in case there are some misunderstandings. You can see their passion for what they do. Their priority was to make sure the client was happy, and they weren't afraid to go the extra mile for that.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They were very patient throughout the process and adjusted quickly whenever we needed to change some parts of the design.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that comes to mind.

We found Waqar on Catchafire which’s another non profit organization that is nationally known.

I just sent Waqar the changes e wanted on our website and he did them. Waqar was very good with communicating with me and updating me which is very important to me.

I think it was just 1 person, but am not sure who all worked on this project.

Good company, I highly recommend them.

I'm the owner of Flexnet and I manage all the projects being undertaken under my company.

For what projects/services did your company hire dooblu, and what were your goals?

We had a project from one of our clients that required us to build an app that tennis players in Australia could use to play matches against each other and earn from winning games. We needed a company that could help us implement our client's app designs into frontend Angular code that could then connect with our backend APIs to complete the solution. This is where we engaged Dooblu to help us implement the frontend for the application.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We reached out to our network and were recommended to work with Dooblu. They were recommended to us by a mutual friend since they had worked with them before and found it to be an amazing experience. We saw their portfolio and previous work and were quite impressed.

We had an initial kick-off meeting with them and handed over the UI designs to them for the app. They completed the design implementation within the first month and we also had some screens needed to be developed which weren't in the original design work which the Dooblu team designed and implemented for us and did a great job at it.

We had 1 Angular Developer and Designer work with us from Dooblu during the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

We successfully completed the project and launched it in Australia, the project was an instant success and the client was immensely happy with the work delivered.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

Dooblu followed an Agile method of project management and we had weekly update meets during which they would brief us on the work completed and the next set of deliverables to be completed in the following week. This helped us stay on track and updated on the progress of the project.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They have a unique coding style and have an overall finesse in their work.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Sometimes our deadlines were missed by a day or two but that is understandable as development work can be unpredictable and it was manageable for us so no harm done!

All our communication was through Slack. Had no issues with it.
