Regenesis
Regenesis is a start-up company that has developed a patented, pre-market technology for recapturing waste air from commercial HVAC/refrigeration systems. The challenge for Regenesis was that their patent required further engineering development and data collection to be commercially viable. The company also needed to raise another round of funding to continue development of the concept, but had no collateral.
DOMINION produced a corporate video to communicate the company’s technology, managing all aspects of the project from beginning to end.

Lead Generation Services for Industrial Automation Company
"Their interest in the product and our success was impressive."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the sales manager for Peerless Engineering and we’re an industrial automation company. We do pneumatics, hydraulics, robotics, and spin-offs from vacuum equipment. I head up some of our divisions that do structural aluminum products.
What challenge were you trying to address with DOMINION?
We were given an opportunity to take on a new product out of Germany called extruded aluminum structures that are for building just about anything. Because we didn’t know a whole lot about this brand new product and it didn’t have a big profile in North America, we hired DOMINION to generate leads and help us find the market for this product.
What was the scope of their involvement?
In order to generate leads, DOMINION started off with a mailer. We built up a list of potential customers and they managed it. Once we got a level of interest from the customer, that qualified them for us.
What is the team composition?
Keith (Software Engineer) was our main point of contact. We also worked with Tyler (Founder) and a few other people.
How did you come to work with DOMINION?
We decided we couldn’t do this work in-house anymore because it wasn’t a good use of people’s time but we wanted to find out quickly whether this line that we were taking on actually had potential. We looked around for a couple of lead-generating companies and interviewed Keith. Keith really wowed us with his idea and he worked well with us.
How much have you invested with them?
We invested about $17,000 CAD (approximately $13,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We started in the first quarter of 2016 and went on for about 18 months.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
One of the most important things we found out while working with them was who wasn’t a customer. If it weren’t for their help, we would have gone down those dead ends and wasted a lot of time. They saved us about two years of prospecting. We’ve been able to double sales every year of the product line we took on. They didn’t just bring us one big customer; we ended up getting about eight good-sized customers.
How did DOMINION perform from a project management standpoint?
They performed really well, communicating through phone, email, and they even came on some sales calls with me.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Keith took the time to learn about the product, which was really an asset because he was able to sell it to the customer. Their interest in the product and our success was impressive.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t say there is any more they could have done.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Have an open mind and let them lead the way because they have some really creative ideas as far as engaging with potential customers.

Website Redevelopment for Engineering Firm
"They worked exactly how I needed them to work, and they gave me exactly what I needed."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the founder and president of Westgate Technology Corporation. We’re an engineering product development services firm. We have capabilities in all manners of product development areas in the IoT space including hardware and firmware, back-office, end-to-end web and mobile applications, and more.
What challenge were you trying to address with DOMINION?
I was looking to put my online face up. I had a basic website up that wasn’t reflecting the new approach and capabilities of my company. When I approached DOMINION, I was looking for a complete overhaul of my online presence.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They redeveloped my website, changed the platform, layout, and look and feel.
What is the team composition?
I worked with a technical writer on the content, and then a developer.
How did you come to work with DOMINION?
It was all about personal connection. I tend to go back to people I’ve worked with in the past, and I’d worked with one of DOMINION’S team members at a previous job.
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from February–March 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
The website wasn’t designed to be a lead-generating tool; there isn’t a marketing purpose for the site. It’s designed to be my company’s face. I only take one or two customers a year, and these customers are usually lined up to work with me. If I grow to the point where I need more customers, I’ll use the site as a lead-generation tool.
I do get a lot of compliments from people on the site, including from some who insist to talk to me after they’ve seen it.
How did DOMINION perform from a project management standpoint?
This was one of the best parts of working with them. Most of the companies I worked with in the past expected me to write a bunch of stuff so they could build a server around it, or the website around the content, whereas, with DOMINION, I had a series of conversations with the technical writer, and he captured the essence of what I wanted the content to be. It made for a very comfortable engagement.
On the graphic side of things, they presented a series of mockups, and I told them what I liked and didn’t like. We went through a series of iterations until I approved the feel of the website. It was very seamless and didn’t feel like work.
What did you find most impressive about them?
The ability to work together on my terms, and not their terms, was amazing.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I can’t think of anything. They worked exactly how I needed them to work, and they gave me exactly what I needed. I’m not sure how I would want things to be any different.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
I had a good idea of what I wanted, but, working with DOMINION, it’s important to tell them what you want and what you think you need. They’ll be able to offer that.

Lead Generation & Web Design for Software Company
"They were very open and made sure everything happened as planned."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I was the co-founder and CEO at RegIQ Solutions, a software company focused on compliance solutions for medical device companies.
What challenge were you trying to address with DOMINION?
DOMINION was brought in for two specific projects. The first was lead generation. The second was to address the marketing needs such as the website.
What was the scope of their involvement?
They built the website from scratch. They also built additional marketing collaterals such as presentations. I sat down with Tyler (Software Engineer) and built the parameters of what things needed to look like based on our target audience and then they went from there.
What is the team composition?
We had a main contact with Tyler and Keith (Software Engineer) and a designer behind the scenes.
How did you come to work with DOMINION?
I worked with Tyler at different companies and was familiar with him and his work ethic. I consider him a friend and was confident that he could deliver what was needed.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent between $100,000 and $200,000 CAD (approximately $75,000 and $150,000 USD).
What is the status of this engagement?
We worked together from September 2017 to September 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
I wouldn’t hesitate to work with them again. We’re possibly receiving the funding to continue, and if we restart, I would work with DOMINION again.
How did DOMINION perform from a project management standpoint?
They have a very high attention to detail. We laid out project parameters upfront, and we revisited them frequently— even daily at times. On the rare occasions something wasn’t hitting the mark or needed to be changed, they fixed it quickly and efficiently. They were very open and made sure everything happened as planned.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their personality and work ethic are fantastic. At this point, my relationship goes beyond business partners. I have a high level of comfort and they’re friends — something that wouldn’t happen if they weren’t excellent at what they did.
Are there any areas they could improve?
I don’t have any complaints. They use contractors, and that works really well for them.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Be specific with your questions and your needs. They’ll bring success to cultivating your business and bring it online.

GUI Design and Web Design for Software Company
"We went from no users to 5,000 users in less than 30 days."
the reviewer
the review
A Clutch analyst personally interviewed this client over the phone. Below is an edited transcript.
Introduce your business and what you do there.
I’m the former CEO and president of Cyberwerkx. We made hacking cybersecurity software.
What challenge were you trying to address with DOMINION?
I needed a website and GUI help.
What was the scope of their involvement?
The team developed the website from scratch. They worked on the GUI for our product. Our product needed graphic representations for the programming to detail what we wanted it to look like. They put together a graphic bible for the product from the build. They also assisted with a few digital marketing campaigns.
What is the team composition?
We worked with three people in total, including Tyler (Founder).
How did you come to work with DOMINION?
I’ve worked with Tyler previously on various projects over the years. Wherever I land, I always seem to end up talking to Tyler. He’s built my confidence over time, becoming a trusted asset.
How much have you invested with them?
We spent around $10,000.
What is the status of this engagement?
We started working together in March 2019, and the engagement concluded when we sold the company in November 2020.
What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We went from no users to 5,000 users in less than 30 days. Their team did all of the pipeline work for us, focusing on the psychology behind colors and where users click. We worked together to get our users to do the actions that we wanted them to do.
We’ve had tons of feedback from consumers and peers about the quality and professionalism of our website. I also was asked for referrals.
How did DOMINION perform from a project management standpoint?
We communicated through phone calls, video, and in-person meetings. We’ve never had an issue with professionalism, and it’s been top-tier. Their team spent a lot of time getting to know us before we began working. Their service side is a great strength. They strive to understand businesses by providing the best customer service. It was very collaborative, which I like.
What did you find most impressive about them?
I think it comes down to their professionalism and collaboration. When it comes to metrics, their team delivers on time and budget. There were no surprises.
Are there any areas they could improve?
Not at all. I’m a raving fan.
Do you have any advice for potential customers?
Share as much information as humanly possible. If you trust the process, you’re in good hands.
DOMINION brought several good-sized customers to the client and saved them a significant amount of prospecting. The team had great communication and project management skills, attending sales calls. They took the time to learn about the product in order to do their job effectively.
