What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?
We haven’t gotten any direct feedback from clients, but the number of clients finding us through our website instead of other media has substantially increased. In the past, some customers mention seeing us in a billboard, a published piece in an architecture periodical, or a general architectural digest website. Nowadays, many of them mention checking out our website.
Dokmeh Studio delivered the website efficiently and professionally, especially given the limitations of bandwidth in Iran. Our website loads quite well. The CMS is quite easy to grasp by anyone who knows how to use Word.
How did Dokmeh Studio perform from a project management standpoint?
They performed quite well and always delivered on time. If they mentioned a deadline for a particular task, they would actually meet that deadline. Compared to our last designer, that was quite an improvement.
They created a group message on Telegram immediately after we signed the contract. If we had a question or concern, we could just share it there and they’d respond in less than 24 hours. They either replied on Telegram or gave me a call explaining the details and ramifications. We discussed it and arrived at a solution that worked for both of us. They were reachable, responsible, and responsive. We had a great experience.
At different milestones of the design process, they showcased what they’d implemented and asked for our feedback.
What did you find most impressive about them?
Their professionalism, in both design and technical aspects.
Are there any areas they could improve?
The website was working fine in the end, but, during the working period, it couldn’t resize to different digital screens in Iran. This is a function of the Iranian Internet situation. Not all providers adhere to the norms of the international market. They knew that this was the case, and they told us that it would take some time. They specified in the contract the point at which the website would become compatible with various iOS and Android phones. They specified that it would take time to tweak the site for lesser-known brands.
We based the site launch on their estimate, and I would’ve been happier if that timing was a bit shorter. I still appreciated that they were very honest about it.
Do you have any advice for future clients of theirs?
I’d say be very exact about what you want. Once you clearly convey what you want, they’ll be efficient in delivering it. They’re very open to conversation, and they’ll work with you to get the best result.
