I am the CEO and founder of multiple fintech businesses that allow users to send and receive payments via mobile applications. The company's function is to facilitate SWIFT, SEPA, and Fast payments internationally. This includes business and personal accounts in multiple currencies.

For what projects/services did your company hire .doCode, and what were your goals?

We wanted to build a flexible mobile application that connected to multiple APIs and could deploy new functionality rapidly. The .doCode team was helped us build a strong foundation that would allow us to scale the business and also move towards market demands. This was accomplished by using cutting-edge tech and continuously understanding our business needs.

I have personally been in the tech space for over 25 years and the .doCode team was very solid technically and had great leadership. The team showed a lot of integrity and was very excited to help us accomplish our goals.

Initially, we took a light-touch approach to understand the art of the possible. This started with explaining the vision of the project and the .doCode team went away and produced some architectural ideas.

We took this information and applied it back to the first principles around the banking APIs we were interacting with and how this would impact our application.

he first milestones were to produce a mobile application that can send and receive funds from our corresponding bank. In parallel, the .deCode team worked with our business development to understand the backlog and the scope of the work.

This was all put into JIRA and was developed using agile delivery best practices. This included constant updates from the development team and them acquiring feedback. This was all deployed via continuous deployment via every commit on a React Native, Node, Lamdas (AWS) technology stack.

I worked closely with the CEO to make sure we were mindful of the team structure and resources. The team included a Project Manager, Quality Assurance, Designers, and Back/Front end developers. This fluctuated from 5 to 30 people depending on evolution of the project.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Within 6 weeks were able to deploy a working mobile application into production taking millions of funds and thousands of transactions. This allowed us to take customer feedback quickly and help dictate the new features that were being built.

The team focused on continuous deployment which gave us the ability to make quick updates and fix any issues that might have surfaced. This allowed us to experience the project being built in real-time which gave us confidence it was correct.

The ,doCode team provided constant updates and was always available when we had any queries. Th communication was granted via Slack and JIRA on a daily basis.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their efficiency and deep technical skills are second to none. That also coupled with caring about the project and enjoying the working as a team.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We could always do things better but considering the rapid pace, we demanded the team performed well.

I am a co-founder of Wecord and my role is the product manager.

We needed to implement a public facing website (wecord.us) and allow public users to submit their email addresses which would be collected into a database.

Docode came highly recommended to our team so we decided to contract their services. We were very happy we did!

Do code needed to implement pixel-perfect site based on our design team's specifications. The site required javascript moving animations and an email submission box that would make this nicely designed page fit to any screen size.

Our point of Contact was Platon Mykhalchuk and he communicated with our team about the cost, scope and delivery. Platon is the founder of Docode.

We are very happy with the results of this project and we would happily continue to work with Docode in the future.

Docode needed little support to accomplish the project goals within our timeline. When needed, they were very communicative. We generally used slack to communicate status updates and requirements questions.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Being that we are a start-up, we can't afford unnecessary costs. We were delighted that Docode could offer such great value for the quality of work that they provided for our start-ups.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Docode is a delight to work with- we wouldn't recommend changing anything!

I'm the founder of a startup based in New York. Our company is small and I oversaw the development of the cross platform app.

For what projects/services did your company hire .doCode Studio?

We interviewed several other developers in the process to try and find the perfect team to take on this project. Since we weren't very experienced ourselves in app developing we needed to find a team we could trust to deliver what we expected.

What were your goals for this project?

We wanted to build an app that was easy to use, stayed true to the designs and where we could updated the content on our side. Our first goal was to get listed in the the Google plan store as well as Apple App Store.

We searched and interviewed tons of developers to find the right fit for this project. At the end we had interviewed 30 different developer teams until we narrowed it down to 2 finalists.

The scope consisted in taking our designs and wireframes and develop a cross platform app as well as a website. Even though we had thought trough the designs and wireframes, doCode made them bulletproof by suggesting improvements.

What was the team composition?

The team on doCodes side consisted in a project manager, a team leader and two developers. Throughout the process I frequently spoke with the project manager and the teamleader.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The app was successfully accepted by both app stores, the app works great and is right now in the process of being launched.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The project manager that was assigned was very helpful, easy to communicated with and provided us with frequent updates. We had stand-ups at least once a week and used Slack for other communication.

Overall I was very happy with the timelines of the team. We received warnings if a deadline wasn't going to be met. We was also met with very positive and constructive feedback when we had small changes on our end.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

I was extremely happy with their approach, friendliness, and professionalism. They have a great knowledge base and could suggest me the best technologies to use. My team learned tons in the process and we appreciated that they were patient and thoughtful.

We have worked with other agencies in the past but this one was particularly collaborative and positive. I will certainly engage with this company again for any needs we have in the future.

Everything can always be done faster, but we were very satisfied with their work every step of the way. In the end quality is more important than speed and we ended up with a beautiful product which we are extremely proud of.

I am the director of a car service center in Lviv. Our areas of expertise are dry cleaning of cars, changing tires, and car wash.

For what projects/services did your company hire .doCode, and what were your goals?

Our goal was to become reachable for more people. What we wanted was to have all the actual information about prices and services online. We had a website before but it was outdated and we weren’t able to change content ourselves.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We were looking for a development company in Lviv. That’s why we checked lists of local companies, compared reviews and chose a few ones for further negotiations. This company met our expectations. We liked the communication style, the reviews were fine, the price was reasonable. Based on these factors we decided to continue working with Docode.

The project was to create a corporate website where our clients can read information about our benefits, services, ways of work, available hours, prices, reviews, and more. It was important for us that this website is available and comfortable to use on both desktop and mobile devices.

At the first meeting, we described our vision of the website and got feedback from the company about the way it should be implemented. Then the agency created a design, created a website from scratch and integrated it into WordPress. The process was followed by regular meetings. Technologies: HTML/CSS, WordPress.

There were a designer, HTML/CSS developer, WordPress developer, Project manager and tester. We were communicating with the Project Manager and designer.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was finished on time. It is available for all devices, both mobile and desktop. At the moment it successfully works, generating new clients. Page speed score for desktop is 96.

At the first meetings, we discussed the workflow. After that, we followed the plan. The development team were requesting our feedback during the development after particular stages were completed. If any issues appeared we were updated at once. Apart from meetings, there was another way of communication. It was Slack. We could send our questions there and get really quick answers.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The most valuable thing was that the company not only paid attention to our requests but proposed their solutions. As I’ve mentioned we hadn't had such an experience before. That’s why some things were unknown to us, we didn’t know what solution would be better.

The company advised us and helped with some decisions. Besides, we highly appreciated the fact that we can edit the website without any help. After the website was completed, they spend time explaining everything, so it is really easy even for an inexperienced person to make changes by using the admin.
